Opis:: An excessively high level of information asymmetry between the supplier and the client occurring during the whole life cycle of an MIS is an important factor influencing the success of a project. The methods chosen to minimise information asymmetry in IT projects constitute an important research area which can impact their successful outcome. The aim of this article is to present research results on the use of Agile Methodology as a tool for minimising information asymmetry as part of an IT project completion consisting in a DMS system implementation with the use of outsourcing. The article may be interesting both for theoreticians of business informatics and for practitioners specializing in IT project implementation.

Opis:: The IT system market belongs to the group of markets characterised by imperfections in information access both amongst the suppliers and the recipients. Literature studies indicate a research gap concerning the phenomenon of information asymmetry between the supplier and the recipient in an IT project. My research thus far has indicated that an excessively high level of information asymmetry between the supplier and the recipient, occurring during the entire life cycle of a management support IT system, is an important factor, which has a key significance to the success of the project. The scope of this article is to present the results of research on the phenomenon of asymmetry in information access both amongst suppliers and recipients as part of a conducted case study.

Opis:: The article presents a computer-aided tool for quality management support, on the example of a farm involved in breeding cattle. The motivation for a tool to support farm management was the need to standardize the documentation including different types of records, discrepancies and to facilitate the archiving process. The project was developed in an Excel spreadsheet, with the principle of the most user-friendly interface between the user and the used support tool. The advantage of the project is the possibility to use it analogically in other farming industries, and the possibility of tool expansion, possible by adding modules depending on particular requirements of the farmer. The main reason to address the issue presented in the article is the lack of applicable IT solutions that would support farmers in farm management, and the willingness to show that a huge step may be done easily, as regards improvement in work, raising its quality and time-saving

Opis:: W artykule zostały opisane główne elementy informatycznego systemu wsparcia eksploatacji samolotów, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli funkcjonalnego modelu cyfrowego statku powietrznego oraz wpływu jego składników na jakość zarządzania flotą. Omówiono i zobrazowano: 1) budowę struktury funkcjonalnej statku powietrznego i programu obsług w systemie informatycznym wsparcia eksploatacji; 2) systemy informatyczne wspierające eksploatację wojskowych statków powietrznych. Wykazano, że przy właściwej spójności i kompletności danych w informatycznym systemie wsparcia uzyskujemy wyższą jakość eksploatacji statków powietrznych, w tym poprawia się zarządzanie całą flotą, jakość obsług technicznych i bezpieczeństwo realizacji zadań lotniczych.
The article describes the main elements of IT system supporting the maintenance of aircraft with special consideration of functional digital model of the aircraft and its components and influence on the quality of fleet management. Discussed and illustrated: 1) the construction of the functional structure of the aircraft and the maintenance program in the IT support system; 2) IT systems supporting the maintenance of military aircraft. It was shown that with proper coherence and completeness of data in the IT support system, we obtain a higher quality of aircraft maintenance, including improved management of the fleet, quality of technical services and safety of missions.

The aim of this thesis is to discuss challenges associated with the restructuring of the ERP system in the area of internal logistic. The research have been conducted in the manufacturing company in the aviation industry. In this context it was assumed that the restructuring of ERP system uses in an industrial enterprises generates serious organizational problems. The aim of the verification of mentioned thesis, it has been conducted the analysis based on empirical data, collected from the questionnaire survey as well as from moderated interviews with the staff of the investigated entity. This allowed to confirm the initial assumptions.
