Opis:: The paper discusses technological solutions that are used to organize communication between technical devices within the electrical substation area. Design and operation of presently used supervision and control systems are based on various communication solutions. Ever growing standards concerning the required quantity of data and their transmission rate induce a search for new solutions. The paper presents new concepts of LAN-based data exchange and an equipment that can be applied to develop SCADA systems using that technology. An example physical model of communication has been used to present a configuration of devices that form a frame of the network and remote control elements that use it.

Opis:: Contention-based MAC protocols for wireless ad hoc LANs rely on random deferment of packet transmissions to avoid collisions. By selfishly modifying the probabilities of deferments greedy stations can grab more bandwidth than regular stations that apply standard-prescribed probabilities. To discourage such misbehaviour we propose a protocol called RT-hash whereby the winner of a contention is determined using a public hash function of the channel feedback. RT-hash is effective in a full hearability topology, assuming that improper timing of control frames is detectable and that greedy stations do not resort to malicious actions. Simulation experiments show that RT-hash protects regular stations' bandwidth share against various sophisticated greedy strategies of deferment selection; as such it may contribute to MAC-layer network security.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono schemat oprogramowania do nadzoru i sterowania urządzeniami pracującymi w gospodarstwie rolniczym. Program umożliwia modyfikację danych wejściowych z komputera w danym gospodarstwie a wraz ze współpracującą stroną www. z dowolnego komputera podłączonego do lokalnej lub globalnej sieci. Działanie programu przetestowano na urządzeniach utrzymujących zadany poziom cieczy w zbiorniku.
The paper presents flowchart of software for supervision and control of equipment working in a farm. The application allows to modify input data from computer in a given farm, and via cooperating Web page - from any computer connected to local or global network. The application operation was tested on equipment maintaining preset liquid level in a tank.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono propozycję dedykowanego stanowiska laboratoryjnego, w którym z wykorzystaniem technologii internetowych i sieci komputerowej można diagnozować, za pomocą optycznych czujników przemieszczeń, jakość połączeń spawanych w płytach stalowych. W ramach ćwiczenia przedstawiono również możliwości analizy otrzymanych danych wibrodiagnostycznych w dziedzinie czasu i częstotliwości. Opisane w pracy ćwiczenie, na tle innych - realizowanych na kierunku mechanicznym w Akademii Morskiej w Gdyni, cechuje się przede wszystkim tym, że pozwala studentom w sposób zdalny i z wykorzystaniem technologii informatycznych rejestrować, analizować i diagnozować układy mechaniczne metodą wibrodiagnostyczną.
In the paper there is presented a proposition of dedicated laboratory station in which, with usage of internet technologies and computer network, quality of welding joins in steel plates can be diagnosed by laser displacement sensors. As part of the exercise, options of analysis the received vibrodiagnostic data in the domain of time and frequency were presented. The exercise described in the work, against the background of others - the ones carried out in the mechanical department, is primarily characterized by the fact that it can help students - with usage of the informatic technologies - register, analyze and diagnose mechanical systems in the remote way by vibrodiagnostic method.

Opis:: This paper presents comparison of prototype location system built with standard components of 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN network infrastructure. The system can be used for personal or other objects’ positioning, both for indoor and outdoor environments. The system is local, i.e. its operational area is limited to WLAN network operating range. The system is based on standard and widely available WLAN components (access points, network adapters). The goal is to avoid any hardware and software modifications. Also position calculation should not be power hungry operation. Method of location is based in Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) returned by most of RF ICs (including WLAN). The main focus is research of how much accuracy (and usefulness) can be expected from standard WLAN hardware. Both static and dynamic scenarios have been tested and compared.

Opis:: The article discusses "A Mouthful of Birds" by Caryl Churchill and David Lan in terms of its relation to its Greek inspiration: Euripides' "Bacchae". Contrary to Michael Billington's opinion that the fascination with the classics which dominated the 1980s theatre in Britain led to the emergence of an "interpretative culture" motivated by artists' inability to address current political issues, the article analyses a 1980s play that uses its classical source precisely to make political statements. In the course of the article the intertextual links between "A Mouthful of Birds" and "The Bacchae" are analysed with special focus on the politics motivating the modern text. Julie Sanders' theory of literary appropriation is used to discuss selected themes addressing feminist, postcolonial and gender politics.

Opis:: Today, savvy matrix, keen homes, brilliant water systems, canny transportation, are framework frameworks that associate our reality more than we at any point thought conceivable. The basic vision of such frameworks is generally connected with one single idea, the Internet of Things (IoT), where using sensors, the whole physical foundation is firmly combined with data and correspondence advances; where clever observing and the board can be accomplished by means of the utilization of organized implanted gadgets. These gadgets will associate with web to share diverse kinds of information. We have proposed an Industrial Monitoring System utilizing XAMPP server and detecting based applications for web of things. In this paper we use detecting gadgets to check diverse parameters like creation tally, brightening force, control utilization, relative mugginess and temperature of room.
