Opis:: The paper aims to present the types of semantic relations which hold between the interlingual homonyms existing in the semantic field of “people’s spiritual life”. The primary type of the relations among the studied lexical units is exclusion (the presence of a religious component in the semantics of a word of one of the studied languages and the lack of such a component in the other language). Because of the significant number of the examples of this type of relation, the words were divided into three thematic groups: 1) concepts (пассия – pasja), 2) objects (арка – arka), 3) people (лектор – lektor). The relation type of inclusion (with the shared religious semantics, one of the homonyms has an additional meaning related to this area) was observed in a few pairs (катафалк – katafalk). The relation type of overlapping (with the shared religious semantics, each of the homonyms has an additional meaning) in a given lexical field was not identified. No relation of overlapping in a given lexical field and only a few cases of the inclusion relation can prove that the resources of Russian and Polish homonymous words belonging to the religious theme of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches contrast with one another in quite an unobvious way. It is conditioned by both linguistic as well as cultural factors.

Opis:: The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is to present the press conference as a public relations tool. At the beginning, the concept and the history of public relations were outlined. Subsequently problems in communications were elucidate, which enable to choose correctly public relations strategy and realization communications goals. Followingly the construction of the press conference was described in detail. In conclusion, the change in the form of the press conference was depicted due to the epidemiological crisis related to the coronavirus.
Celem pracy licencjackiej jest przedstawienie konferencji prasowej jako narzędzia public relations. Na początku został podany zarys koncepcji oraz historia public relations. Następnie przedstawiono problemy w komunikacji, których znajomość umożliwia poprawne obranie strategii public relations i realizacje celów komunikacji. W dalszej części pracy omówiono budowę konferencji prasowej. Na koniec zobrazowano przekształcenie formy konferencji prasowej pod wpływem kryzysu epidemiologicznego związanego z koronawirusem.

Rozprawa przedstawia również rolę image w funkcjonowaniu podmiotu i odbioru go przez społeczeństwo, a także kształtowania pozycji wśród konkurentów. Praca udowadnia, iż korzystny i oczekiwany obraz marki jest kluczem do osiągnięcia przez nią sukcesu. Przy tworzeniu niniejszej pracy zastosowano, jako metodę badawczą studium przypadku.
My work entitled „Management of politician's and famous person's image” presents the role of such management in the world of politics and show business. The aim of the work was showing how important is to create not only a positive image but also the image and the brand name which are needed by the politician or the famous person. The essay shows the role of the image in functioning of the subject and in which way the subject is interpreted by the society and how he or she is shaped among the competitors. Current work proves that the positive and expected brand name is the key to achieve the success.Study case was used as an experimental method in this work.

W drugiej części skupiono się na analizie możliwych działań public relations w eventach sportowych. W kolejnych etapach rozważania skupiono się na przygotowaniu do pomiaru działań PR poprzez szczegółowe i mierzalne opracowanie strategii komunikacyjnej. W kolejnych częściach artykułu przeanalizowano dostępne mierniki działań PR oraz metody pomiaru oraz pokazano na przykładach w jaki sposób one funkcjonują.
The aim of considerations is to analyze available measures of PR and to select effective measurement methods for organizers of mass sports events. The article is based on literature on the subject, analysis of exsisting data and observation of the biggest polish mass sports events, including Enea Challenge Poznań. The first part of the article focuses on the complex characteristics of sports events with emphasis of the importance of the emotional factor. Second part focuses on the analysis of possible public relations activities in sports events. Then, there are also reflections about preparing a detailed and measurable communication strategy. In the following parts of this article, there are analysis of available measures of PR activities and methods with examples of how they can function.

Opis:: In his definions Thomas refers to Aristotle’s doctrine, that something can be in some relation to someting else. The essence of relation thus relies on the way of being, attitude or mindful grasp (respectus) of a thing. In such perspective relation is an accident, which has its source in intellect, rather than in being (S. th., I, qu. 28, a. 1, c.: « Solum in his qua, dicuntur ad aliquid, inveniuntur aliquo secundum rationem tantum, et non secundum rem »). In a proper sense, relation is an account or comparison of attitude to something external (esse ad), and it is not the internal property of subject (esse in). Aristotelian difference between « legetai » and « einai » has been interpreted already by Alexander of Hales (+ 1245) in medieval ages. He was the one, who proposed two aspects of relation: secundum dici (relational by determination) and relativum secundum esse (ontologically relational). For Thomas Aquinas terms which describe the relations refer to the state of being as such (secundum esse), for instance fatherhood or filiation, which occur because of the relations itself; or the relations, which are the effects of some sort of connection (secundum dici), for instance, mover and moved, which is the source of relation (S. th., I. qu. 13, a. 7, ad 1; De veritate, qu. 21, a. 6, c). These distinctions of relations which are varied according to ontological or logical perspective do not always show the real existence of relations, because, for example, pointing the left or right side of the round column cannot be referred to reality. On the other hand, there is undoubtedly real relations between science and sensory experiences of a man. The criterion which distinguishes real relations and logical relations is the very reality, Thomas says.
W swoich definicjach relacji Tomasz odwołuje się do sformułowań Arystotelesa jako znajdowanie się w danym stanie wobec drugiej rzeczy. Istotą relacji jest więc sposób bycia, stosunek czy też rozważane spojrzenie (respectus) na jakąś rzecz. W takim wymiarze relacja jest jedyną przypadłością, która ma swoje źródło w intelekcie, a nie w bycie (S. th., I, qu. 28, a. 1, c. : « Solum in his qua, dicuntur ad aliquid, inveniuntur aliquo secundum rationem tantum, et non secundum rem »). Czyli w sensie właściwym, relacja jest ujęciem czy porównaniem stosunku do czegoś zewnętrznego (esse ad), a nie wewnętrzną cechą jakiegoś podmiotu (esse in). Arystotelesowskie rozróżnienie na « legetai » i « einai » dopiero w Średniowieczu Aleksander z Hales (+ 1245) zinterpretował w aspekcie relativum secundum dici (relacyjny przez określenie) i relativum secundum esse (bytowo relacyjny). Dla Tomasza nazwy określające relacje oznaczają albo stan bytu jako taki (secundum esse), np. ojcostwo, synostwo, który zachodzi z powodu samego związku, albo relacje, które są skutkiem jakiegoś powiązania (secundum dici), np. poruszyciel i poruszany, który wykazujemy jako źródło zachodzenia relacji (S. th., I. qu. 13, a. 7, ad 1; De veritate, qu. 21, a. 6, c). Te rozróżnienia na relacje według bytowania lub według myślenia nie zawsze pokazują rzeczywiste istnienie relacji, gdyż np. wskazanie na lewą czy prawą stronę okrągłej kolumny nie można odnieść do rzeczywistości, a z drugiej strony niewątpliwie istnieje realna relacja między nauką i zmysłowymi wrażeniami człowieka. Kryterium odróżniającym realne relacje od relacji myślnych jest dla Tomasza sama rzeczywistość.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that theory-guided public relations practice is more likely to contribute to socially responsible behaviours by organizations than public relations approaches that are based solely on the emphasis on skills and the elaboration of “techniques,” and, to be frank, solely on the mythology of “best practice.” Consequently, theory-guided public relations may be better suited to bridge the gap between service for an organization and service for society. The article sets out with a short historical overview of the relationships between public relations theory and practice. It then goes on developing a methodological and empirical context designed to show connections between theory and practice. Furthermore, the paper highlights diff erent types of practitioners. Finally, a summary including prospects closes the article. Due to this, the following research question confirms these assumptions: how and why can theory-guided public relations contribute to socially responsible behaviours by practitioners?

Opis:: This paper deals with certain morphosemantic relations between Croatian verbs and discusses their inclusion in Croatian WordNet. The morphosemantic relations in question are the semantic relations between unprefixed infinitives and their prefixed derivatives. We introduce the criteria for the division of aspectual pairs and further discuss verb prefixation which results in combinations of prefixes and base forms that can vary in terms of meaning from compositional to completely idiosyncratic. The focus is on the regularities in semantic modifications of base forms modified by one prefix. The aim of this procedure is to establish a set of morphosemantic relations based on regular or reoccuring meaning alternations.

Opis:: Considering Poland’s political relations with Ukraine in the years 1991-2005, it is impossible to ignore the earlier years, ie the period from 1989 which was the beginning of the systemic transformation in Poland, the effect of which was, among others, change of the main goals and priorities of Polish foreign policy. According to the agreement of the governments of both countries, Polish-Ukrainian relations have never been as good as today, but if we want to improve them further, it is worth considering the asymmetries that exist in these relations. Poland is currently in a much better situation than Ukraine, as evidenced by, inter alia, a stable democratic system, a much higher standard of living, a legal system adapted to European requirements, market reforms carried out, membership in NATO and the European Union, and Ukraine was in a much worse position at the time of regaining independence.
