Master's thesis examines a selection of spaghetti westerns of the late sixties and seventies for spreading their leftist ideology. In Chapter I, the author focuses on european western, studying the origins of Italian westerns. Chapter II contains a description of the historical context (historical events called protest movement, leftist ideological critique of the cinema and the Italian political cinema protest day). In Chapter III, the author investigates how the selected spaghetti westerns (called Zapata westerns) expressed the revolutionary content consistent with the radical wing of the New Left.
Praca bada wybrane spaghetti westerny przełomu lat 60. i 70. pod kątem szerzenia przez nie lewicowej ideologii. W rozdziale I autor skupia się na westernie europejskim, studiując genezę powstania włoskich westernów.
