Opis:: Confucianism is a worldview that has shaped Chinese civilization and its various forms of statehood for over two thousand years. With the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949, its influence on the shaping of ideology and social life was interrupted for several decades. The new direction of the state initiated at the end of the 1970s resulted in the gradual restoration of selected ideas of Confucianism, which, along with Marxism and the strategy of entering globalization, shape the international identity of the Middle Kingdom. While Marxism remains the official ideology, one should focus on introducing elements of Chinese culture, which complements it in recognizing contemporary realities and formulating directions for changes in the state. The aim of the article is to show the influence of Confucianism on the contemporary Chinese narrative manifested in two dimensions: internal affairs, i.e. the development of the state and society, and external issues, international politics.

The coexistence of competition and cooperation will be the mainstream of the future world, and trade friction will be the new norm for the global economy. China will insist on deepening reform and open to the rest of the world, adjusting the pattern and path of the growth in order to get sustainable development and search for win – win future with the rest of the world.

Opis:: W pracy omówiono wina gronowe, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich właściwości prozdrowotnych. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań laboratoryjnych, określające ekstrakt ogólny, kwasowość ogólną oraz zawartość antocyjanów, a także autorską kartę oceny organoleptycznej sześciu półsłodkich, czerwonych win, różniących się po-chodzeniem. Wyniki badań zaprezentowano na wykresach, do których dołączono krótki opis. W odniesieniu do ogólnej pożądalności wykazano różnice pomiędzy poszczególnymi próbami (W1-W6). Poddane ocenie wina charakteryzowały się również odmiennym składem fizykochemicznym.
The thesis discusses grape wines, with particular emphasis on their pro-health properties. Laboratory results were presented the total extract, total acidity and anthocyanin content, as well as the author’s organoleptic evaluation card of six semi-sweet red wines of different origins. Test results are presented in diagrams, which are accompanied by a short description. With respect to overall desirability, differences between individual samples were shown. The wines under evaluation were also characterized by a different physicochemical composition.

Opis:: In this dissertation was presented personage of colonel Anatol Sawicki the chief of AK-WiN Lvov Extraterritorial District. The dissertation is divided for six chapters about the history of: Sawicki family, Anatol’s childhood and his youth, service in imperial army of Russia, in Polish divisions on the East and Sawicki’s duty during war between Poles and the Bolsheviks. The other chapters are about service in Polish Army before 1939, colonel Sawicki's fight in conspiracy during World War II and after the end of war until his death in 1948.
Niniejsza praca ma na celu przybliżyć sylwetkę płk. Anatola Sawickiego – Komendanta Eksterytorialnego Okręgu Lwowskiego AK-WiN szerszemu gronu czytelników. Praca została podzielona na sześć rozdziałów, w których zaprezentowano: zarys dziejów Sawickich, dzieciństwo oraz młodość Anatola Sawickiego, przebieg jego służby wojskowej w armii Cesarstwa Rosyjskiego, polskich siłach zbrojnych na wschodzie, a także udział w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej. Pozostałe rozdziały opisują losy płk. Sawickiego w okresie służby w Wojsku Polskim do 1939 r., a także konspiracyjną działalność podczas II wojny światowej i po jej zakończeniu aż do tragicznej śmierci Komendanta w 1948 r.

Opis:: Naringinaza jest kompleksem dwóch enzymów, α-L-ramnozydazy (EC 3.2.1.40) i β-D-glukozydazy (EC 3.2.1.21). Ze względu na swoją aktywność hydrolityczną naringinaza ma potencjalne duże zastosowanie w technologii żywności. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie możliwości zastosowania naringinazy w produkcji win i soków owocowych. W pracy dokonano przeglądu literatury wskazującego na możliwe zastosowania immobilizowanej naringinazy oraz zamieszczono wyniki pilotażowych badań własnych nad aplikacją enzymu. Przedstawione zastosowania enzymu wynikają ze zdolności naringinazy do deglikozylacji związków obecnych w żywności. Naringinaza pozwala przede wszystkim usunąć gorzki smak soków cytrusowych dzięki hydrolizie gorzkiego flawonoidu – naringiny oraz wzmocnić aromat win i soków owocowych poprzez uwalnianie lotnych związków zapachowych z ich glikozydowych prekursorów.

Dokonano analizy literatury przedmiotu i doniesień branżowych oraz przeglądu portali internetowych dotyczących poruszanego zagadnienia.
The study presents the work of a sommelier in a restaurant and the rules of serving wines, with particular emphasis on the compilation of a wine list and the selection of wines for dishes. The authors have characterized the sommelier’s silhouette as well as sommelier equipment and tools. They carried out characteristics, classification and division of wines. They described the temperature of wine delivery and selection of glasses. They showed the course of guest service in the area of advising and serving wines in a restaurant by a sommelier. They presented the rules for arranging a wine list in a restaurant. They combined the general rules for the selection of wines for dishes at the work of a sommelier. The research method was used to prepare the study. The article’s literature and industry reports were reviewed as well as a review of internet portals regarding the issue under discussion.

Opis:: In this version of the Cops and Robber game, the cops move in tandems, or pairs, such that they are at distance at most one from each other after every move. The problem is to determine, for a given graph G, the minimum number of tandems sufficient to guarantee a win for the cops. Opis:: Despite the effort educators put into developing in students the critical writing and thinking skills needed to compose effective arguments, undergraduate college students are often accused of churning out essays lacking in creative and critical thought, arguments too obviously formulated and with sides too sharply drawn. Theories abound as to why these deficiencies are rampant. Some blame students’ immature cognitive and emotional development for these lacks. Others put the blame of lackadaisical output on the assigning of shopworn writing subjects, assigned topics such as on American laws and attitudes about capital punishment and abortion. Although these factors might contribute to faulty written output in some cases, the prevailing hindrance is our very pedagogy, a system in which students are rewarded for composing the very type of argument we wish to avoid — the eristic, in which the goal is not truth seeking, but successfully disputing another’s argument. Certainly the eristic argument is the intended solution in cases when a clear‑cut outcome is needed, such as in legal battles and political campaigns when there can only be one winner. However, teaching mainly or exclusively the eristic, as is done in most composition classrooms today, halts the advancement of these higher‑order inquiry skills we try developing in our students.
