Opis:: Il presente articolo è dedicato all’analisi contrastiva italiano/polacco delle strutture lessicali, formate a partire dai nomi propri di persona. Il punto di partenza è costituito dal campione analitico realizzato in base ai dizionari italiani dai quali sono stati estrapolati i lessemi deantroponimici derivati da due categorie di referenti: (1) autori di testi letterari e (2) protagonisti di opere letterarie, cinematografiche e/o teatrali. I derivati deantroponimici di entrambe le categorie sono stati caratterizzati e comparati dal punto di vista morfologico e semantico. In seguito, partendo dal campione comparativo creato in base al dizionario italiano-polacco, sono stati esaminati alcuni aspetti relativi alla registrazione lessicografica in approccio contrastivo.
Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie włoskich formacji leksykalnych powstałych na bazie nazw własnych osób w ujęciu kontrastywnym włosko-polskim. Punktem wyjścia jest korpus badawczy utworzony w oparciu o cztery włoskie słowniki, z których zostały wybrane leksemy utworzone od dwóch kategorii nazw własnych osób: (1) autorów tekstów literackich oraz (2) bohaterów utworów literackich, filmowych i/lub teatralnych. Pochodne nazw własnych obu kategorii zostały scharakteryzowane i porównane pod względem morfologicznym i semantycznym. W dalszej kolejności, w oparciu o korpus porównawczy utworzony na podstawie słownika włosko-polskiego, omówione zostały niektóre aspekty ich rejestracji leksykograficznej w ujęciu kontrastywnym.
The article analyses Italian anthroponymes from a comparative, Polish-Italian perspective. The corpus for the analysis has been created on the basis of four Italian dictionaries, and it consists of two categories: (1) lexemes derived from names of authors of literary texts and (2) lexemes derived from names of characters of literary works, films and/or theatre plays. Anthroponymes belonging to the two categories are briefly characterised, and their morphological and semantic aspects are compared. Subsequently, certain aspects of their lexicographic registration are compared with a comparative corpus based on a Polish-Italian dictionary.

Opis:: This article aims at discussing the issue of metaphorical denominations belonging to psychiatric terminology. Based on the corpus of French terms from this medical field, we shall present those that specifically refer to literary, mythical and historic characters. After briefly explaining each of the analyzed designations as well as the profiles of the mentioned characters, we shall seek to reveal what the established metaphorical connections are based on.
L’article traite des dénominations métaphoriques appartenant à la terminologie psychiatrique. En s’appuyant sur un corpus de termes français provenant de cette spécialité médicale, nous présentons ceux qui font spécifiquement appel aux personnages littéraires, mythiques et historiques. Après avoir expliqué brièvement chacune des appellations analysées, ainsi que les profils des personnages évoqués, nous cherchons à révéler sur quoi reposent les connexions métaphoriques établies.

Opis:: L’article est consacré aux anthroponymes dans le polar polonais Uwikłanie de Zygmunt Miłoszewski et dans sa traduction en français. L’analyse de la traduction des anthroponymes permet d’observer quelques techniques de traduction. Le plus souvent ce sont le transfert sans modification ou le transfert avec une modification orthographique (par exemple annulation des signes diacritiques polonais). En ce qui concerne les personnages de fiction, nous avons observé quelques particularités de la langue polonaise (un grand nombre de diminutifs, des noms de familles féminins avec le suffixe -owa, la structure ‘pan/pani+prénom’) qui ne sont pas gardées dans la traduction. En revanche, quant aux personnages réels, le traducteur ajoute toujours leurs professions, leurs fonctions ou d’autres informations en augmentant considérablement le texte traduit. Grâce à ces explications, le lecteur français approfondit sa connaissance des réalités socio-culturelles de la Pologne. Le traducteur facilite au récepteur cible la lecture de ce roman polonais, probablement à cause de son genre (polar) qui appartient à la littérature populaire.
This article is a study of anthroponyms in the French translation of the Polish crime novel Uwikłanie by Zygmunt Miłoszewski. The analysis of translated anthroponyms reveals a number of techniques applied by the translator. The most frequently used are name and surname transfers without any modifications and transfers with spelling modifications (e.g. by removing Polish diacritic marks). In the case of fictional characters most features characteristic of Polish anthroponyms (diminutive forms of names, female surnames with an -owa suffix, a Ms/Mr+first name structure) have been lost in translation. With real characters, whose role in the novel is to add authenticity to the picture of contemporary Poland, the translator always adds information such as occupation or function to their names, which contributes to the greater length of the French translation of the Polish original. This translation technique provides the French reader of the novel with an insight into the socio-cultural reality of life in Poland. Comprehension of the novel by foreign readers is facilitated by this translation technique. The rationale behind the translator’s decision to apply this technique was probably the fact that the novel belongs to popular literature.

Opis:: Pendant toute sa carrière artistique, Edith Piaf a enregistré plus de trois cents chansons. Toute sa vie, elle a chanté l’amour et le malheur. Dans son vaste répertoire composé de chansons réalistes, populaires et poétiques, elle raconte des histoires dans lesquelles les personnages sont souvent nommés de nom ou de prénom, sans rester anonymes. On peut y déterminer également un lieu d’action. Les histoires dans les chansons de Piaf se déroulent en principe dans un endroit concret ce qui permet de les rendre encore plus authentiques et plus dramatiques. L’emploi des noms propres dans les textes de chansons d’Édith Piaf est un phénomène stylistique assez répandu. Dans ma communication, je propose de présenter les résultats d’une recherche onomasiologique réalisée à partir d’une analyse de tous les noms propres qui apparaissent dans les textes de chansons d’Édith Piaf et à identifier leurs fonctions. Un article contient également quelques propositions d'exploitation pédagogique des noms propres en cours de français langue étrangère.
A lo largo de su carrera artística, Edith Piaf grabó más de trescientas canciones. Toda su vida cantó sobre el amor y la desgracia. En su amplio repertorio compuesto por canciones realistas, populares y poéticas, cuenta historias en las que los personajes suelen ser nombrados por su nombre o apellido, sin permanecer en el anonimato. También podemos determinar un lugar de acción. Las historias de las canciones de Piaf suelen tener lugar en un lugar concreto, lo que las hace aún más auténticas y dramáticas. El uso de nombres propios en los textos de las canciones de Edith Piaf es un fenómeno estilístico bastante extendido. En mi comunicación propongo presentar los resultados de una investigación onomasiológica realizada a partir del análisis de todos los nombres propios que aparecen en los textos de las canciones de Edith Piaf e identificar sus funciones. Un artículo contiene también algunas propuestas para el uso educativo de los nombres propios en las clases de francés como lengua extranjera.
During her artistic career, Edith Piaf recorded over three hundred songs. Throughout her life, she sang about love and misfortune. In her rich repertoire, composed of realistic, popular, and poetic songs, she tells stories in which characters are often mentioned by their first or last names, thus not remaining anonymous. The use of proper names in Edith Piaf’s song lyrics is a common stylistic feature. The settings of these stories can also be identified. The events in Piaf’s songs usually take place in specific locations, which makes them even more authentic and dramatic. In this article, I present the results of onomastic research based on an analysis of all the proper names appearing in Edith Piaf’s song lyrics and examine their functions. The article also includes suggestions for pedagogical use of proper names in French as a foreign language lessons.

Opis:: L'objectif du mémoire est de présenter le problème de la traduction des noms propres dans la littérature enfantine à partir des noms propres figurant dans les contes de Kornel Makuszyński. La partie théorique traite de la littérature enfantine, sa définition, ses caractéristiques, son rôle, l'histoire de son développement en France et en Pologne et sa traduction. Elle aborde également le sujet des noms propres, la question de leur occurrence dans la littérature, en particulier dans la littérature enfantine et le problème de leur traduction. La partie pratique du travail est l'analyse des noms propres figurant dans le livre de Kornel Makuszyński intitulé « Bardzo dziwne bajki » et dans sa traduction en français (« Marycia la princesse au cœur de glace et autres contes polonais »). Cette analyse consiste à comparer deux versions linguistiques, à décrire les différences émergentes et à examiner les problèmes de leur traduction.
The aim of the thesis is to present the problem of translating proper names in children's literature on the basis of proper names appearing in Kornel Makuszyński's fairy tales. The theoretical part deals with children's literature, its definition, features, role, history of its development in France and Poland, and its translation. It also touches upon the subject of proper names, the issue of their occurrence in literature, especially in children's literature, and the problem of their translation. The practical part of the work is the analysis of proper names appearing in the book by Kornel Makuszyński entitled “Bardzo dziwne bajki” and in its translation into French (“Marycia la princesse au cœur de glace et autres contes polonais”). It consists in comparing two language versions, describing the emerging differences and examining translation problems.
Celem pracy jest przedstawienie problemu tłumaczenia nazw własnych w literaturze dziecięcej na podstawie nazw własnych występujących w bajkach Kornela Makuszyńskiego. Część teoretyczna omawia literaturę dziecięcą, jej definicję, cechy, rolę, jaką pełni, historię jej rozwoju we Francji i w Polsce, jak i jej tłumaczenie. Porusza również tematykę nazw własnych, kwestię ich występowania w literaturze, a szczególnie w literaturze dziecięcej oraz problem ich przekładu. Część praktyczna pracy to analiza nazw własnych występujących w książce Kornela Makuszyńskiego pt. „Bardzo dziwne bajki” oraz w jej tłumaczeniu na język francuski („Marycia la princesse au cœur de glace et autres contes polonais”). Polega ona na porównaniu dwóch wersji językowych, opisaniu pojawiających się różnic, jak i zbadaniu problemów tłumaczeniowych.
