Opis:: This article is devoted to an analysis of the autobiographical experience of emigration in Alexander Galich’s poetry. Galich’s poetic texts are able to reflect the state of the writing subject, revealing to the reader the depth of his feelings and emotions and showing the features of his intimate world. The lyrics of Galich, an emigrant, are full of autobiographical experience and are rich in the “exile” time-spatial component associated with the author’s biography. In formal-compositional terms, his poems are distinguished by a broken harmony and integrity. However, as life experience showed, emigration turned out to be a serious test for the writer, leaving an indelible mark on his psyche and creative legacy.

Opis:: The article addresses the most important problems related to the biography of a city, including its generic category. It appears that the best way to approach these difficulties is through the hermeneutic theory of genre. In order to define the key interpretative methodologies of the genre, the author draws on the geocritical concepts developed by Elżbieta Rybicka (the theory of auto/bio/geo/graphy) and Bertrand Westphal.

Opis:: Zygmunt Krasiński, the most European of the Polish Romantic writers, composed many literary texts influenced by foreign travels. In his writing, specific geographical spaces were transformed at once into places of imagination and places of intimacy, forming a unique sphere of auto/bio/geo/graphy. This is especially noticeable in Krasiński’s poetic prose written in French, mainly in the half-private and half-literary travel impressions of his excursions in the Alps. The tension between a place of imagination and a place of intimacy is also reflected in the poet’s correspondence, which can be analysed as a textual form of interiorization of the strictly defined places. It is shown in the article on the examples of the Alps and Provence.

Opis:: W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę naszkicowania możliwych kierun-ków badań nad książką i biblioteką w utworach literackich, których daty powstania dzieli znaczna rozpiętość czasowa, nawiązują jednak do wspólnych ram topogra-ficznych. Są to ramy rzeczywistości drohobyckiej, prezentowane w opowiadaniach i powieściach Iwana Franki, Antoniego Stanisława Muellera, Brunona Schulza, An-drzeja Chciuka, Henryka Grynberga i Erwina Schenkelbacha. Analizowane utwory cechuje rozbudowany profil auto/bio/geo/graficzny odzwierciedlający historyczne, artystyczne oraz kulturowe doświadczenia homo localis. Motywy książki, biblioteki i lektury pokazane zostały w perspektywie transformacji indywidualnej pamięci autobiograficznej w pamięć kulturową o odpowiednich dominantach semiotycznych, aksjologicznych i antropologicznych.
This article is an attempt to outline the possible directions of research on the book and the library in literary works whose dates of creation are divided by a considerable timespan, but which refer to the common topographical framework. In the context of this article these are the frames of Drohobych reality, as presented in the stories and novels of I. Franko, A. S. Mueller, B. Schulz, A. Chciuk, H. Grynberg and E. Schenkelbach. The analyzed literary works are texts with an extensive auto/bio/geo/graphical profile, reflecting various historical, artistic and cultural experiences of homo localis. The book, library and reading motifs have been depicted in the perspective of the transformation from individual autobiographical memory into the cultural memory with the appropriate semiotic, axiological and anthropological dominants.
