Opis:
A variety of communication channels, which can use the organisation meant that the process is more difficult and requires huge effort, work, and learn in a very short time. The domain of specialists, PR is dialogue with the environment, is already known to many of the tools of PR, but it's just the Internet promotes the improvement of this interactive communication. Every action that we take on the Internet has a dimension of all forms must be present but PR surrounded with special care. Internet deep into relationships between an organization and its environment. Society is not able to permanently trust organization or institutions, which make sense, the aims and principles of ac-tion does not understand. PR communication methods with the environment, these classic with modern, permeate each other. This article attempts to clarify what is communication with the environment and what changes occur in the communication process as a result of digitisation in the practice of the use of PR tools.

Opis:
The presented work describes the method of measuring surface topography with application of BRDF (bidirectional reflectance distribution function), ellipsometry and spectrophotometry. This non-contact method enables measurement and analysis of large area surfaces, such as plasters and facades. A standard method of topography analysis does not describe sufficiently all of the interesting features. The visual aspect of the surface evaluation is very important from the functional and utilitarian point of view. The proposed methods of surface analysis enable not only the quantitative evaluation but also indirectly the qualitative properties (visual aspects).

Opis:
Background: An additional shunt in single ventricle patients with Glenn anastomosis may increase pulmonary flow at the expense of ventricle volume overloading. The performance of the modification depends on pulmonary resistance, indicating better results in favorable hemodynamic conditions. Aims: The study aims at analyzing the influence of precisely adjusted pulsatile shunt in borderline high-risk Glenn patients on early and late results. Methods: The study involved 99 patients (including 21 children) with the bidirectional Glenn and accessory pulsatile shunt (BDGS group), and 78 patients with the classic bidirectional Glenn anastomosis (BDG group). Results: There was 1 death in the BDGS group and 4 deaths in the BDG group. No difference in mortality (P = 0.71) was found. The Fontan completion was achieved in 69 (88.5%) children in the BDG group and 18 (85.7%) patients in the BDGS group, without fatalities. No intergroup differences in postoperative pulmonary artery pressure (P = 0.10), ventilation time (P = 0.12), the McGoon ratio (P = 0.9), or chylothorax frequency (P = 0.14) were observed. Intensive care unit (P = 0.28) and hospitalization (P = 0.05) times were comparable. Echocardiography revealed no significant differences in the ventricle and atrioventricular valve function between groups. In the BDGS group, higher blood oxygen saturation (P = 0.03) and increase of the McGoon index (P = 0.002) were noted. Conclusions: Bidirectional Glenn anastomosis with precisely adjusted accessory pulmonary blood flow provides stable hemodynamics and adequate oxygen saturation in borderline, profoundly hypoxic patients. An advantageous pulmonary artery development before Fontan completion was observed.

Opis:
This paper presents an analysis of the power transfer between two DC circuit by use a single phase galvanically isolated dual active bridge - DAB. The analytical description of instantaneous values of the currents in both DC and in AC circuits of the DAB is done. The influence of the dead time as well as voltage drops across the transistors and diodes of the bridges is examined. The different relations between voltages of the DC circuits coupled through DAB and various phase shift ratios are considered. The analytical relations describing the average values of the currents in DC circuits are derived. These currents can be used to predict the power in both DC circuits and power losses generated in semiconductor devices of the converter. It is assumed that the voltage drops across these devices in conduction states are constant. The calculation of the transferred power as well as power losses and energy efficiency for the DAB converter power rated 5600 VA which is used to energy transfer between DC circuits 280 V and 51 V±20% is presented. The proposed relations and calculation results can be useful for preliminary evaluation of power losses generated in semiconductor devices and for design of the cooling system. Due to the high switching frequency of 100 kHz, the phase shift modulation for the control of DAB is used. To validate the theoretical investigations a few experimental results are presented.

Opis:
The paper deals with analysis of recognition of surface quality with reflective structures. Such surfaces are common in metallic materials cut using a saw or polished. There are no easy methods to identify such elements after machining. This issue is crucial in the industry for quality control as recognition of the elements, for instance after failure, allows for a detailed study of their manufacturing process. Firstly, six cuboid steel elements were obtained from a larger beam with a circular saw. Then, the bidirectional reflection distribution function (BRDF) was obtained for each element 3 times. The BRDF profiles were used in custom recognition software based on the K-nearest neighbors algorithm. In total, 140 variants of the classifier were tested and analyzed. Additionally, each variant was solved 200 times with different splits of the dataset. The results showed a high multiclass accuracy in all considered variants of the algorithm, with multiple variants achieving 100% accuracy. This level of performance was attained with only 1 to 2 training samples per class. Its low numerical complexity, easy experimental procedure, and “one-shot” nature allow for fast recognition, which is crucial in industrial applications.

This paper presents an analysis and simulation studies of three-phase matrix converter with GaN HEMT bidirectional switches with predictive control of grid currents and converter output currents. Two methods of grid currents shaping are described and compared. The first method is based on calculations of instantaneous grid reactive power and the second one uses the active power of the load. The analyzed converter works with the resistive-inductive load, and from the grid side the LC filter with damping resistor has been used.

Opis:
This paper proposes a transformerless dual half-bridge converter (TLDAHB). By eliminating the transformer and harnessing the possibility of using a low inductor value, it is possible to minimise the size of the converter. A phase-shift pulse width modulation will result in a wide controlled voltage gain of the converter and operation as buck and boost. The theoretical topology analysis, simulation, and experimental results are presented. Theoretical analysis consists of analysis of power transfer and design. In case of experimental research, particular attention was paid to power transfer and efficiency analysis. Near zero switching transient of voltage in the half-bridge topology results with high efficiency.

Opis:
The utilisation of the thermal emissions of modern ship power plants requires the development and implementation of essentially new methods of using low-temperature waste heat. Thermoacoustic technologies are able to effectively use lowtemperature and cryogenic heat resources with a potential difference of 500–111 K. Thermoacoustic heat machines (TAHMs) are characterised by high reliability, simplicity and environmental safety. The wide implementation of thermoacoustic energy-saving systems is hampered by the low specific power and the difficulties of directly producing mechanical work. An efficient approach to converting acoustic energy into mechanical work entails the utilisation of axial pulse bidirectional turbines within thermoacoustic heat engines. These thermoacoustic turbogenerators represent comprehensive systems that consist of thermoacoustic primary movers with an electric generator actuated by an axial-pulse bidirectional turbine. The development of such a thermoacoustic turbogenerator requires several fundamental issues to be solved. For this purpose, a suitable experimental setup and a 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model of a thermoacoustic engine (TAE) with bidirectional turbines were created. The research program involved conducting physical experiments and the CFD modelling of processes in a TAE resonator with an installed bidirectional turbine. The boundary and initial conditions for CFD calculations were based on empirical data. The adequacy of the developed numerical model was substantiated by the results of physical experiments. The CFD results showed that the most significant energy losses in bidirectional turbines are manifested in the output grid of the turbine.
