Opis:: Presentation of the verbs in Bulgarian-Polish electronic dictionaryThis paper briefly discusses the presentation of the verbs in the first electronic Bulgarian-Polish dictionary that is currently being developed under a bilateral collaboration between IMI-BAS and ISS-PAS. Special attention is given to the digital entry classifiers that describe Bulgarian and Polish verbs. Problems related to the correspondence between natural language phenomena and their presentations are discussed. Some examples illustrate the different types of dictionary entries for verbs.

Opis:: The article provides a retrospective analysis of the evolutionary proc-esses of formation and development of native language education of Ukrainians in the polyethnic environment of Canada and the important role of the state bilingual (Ukrainian-English) school, their importance in preserving the national culture of diaspora Ukrainians. The organizational and pedagogical principles of the educational process in bilingual schools as the main means of learning the native language by Canadian Ukrainians are highlighted. In Canada, there are four types of language immersion programs. They differ from each other in the number of academic hours dedicated to learning in the second language. The full immersion program in the second language takes 80 to 100 percent of the study time. In the programs of partial immersion during the first half of the day training is conducted in the second lan-guage, and during the other – in English. It is established that the system of bilingual education gave students the opportunity to master the Ukrainian language as a subject and at the same time to study certain school subjects in this language, which is extremely important from a psychological point of view. According to the educational program for grades 1–12 in the first three grades, the main focus is on listening, speaking and cultivating respect for culture, but already in the second grade, children begin learning reading and writing; in the 4–6 grades the culture of language is formed – its comprehension, speaking, reading and writing; in grades 7–12 students improve language and speech knowledge, skills and abili-ties, use them in their everyday life. It is found out that the main method of forming language and speech competence is conversational-visual. To implement it, teachers widely use methodological resources of teaching: printed educational publica-tions, audio and video resources, educational and methodical materials on different types of media, information and communication Internet resources, periodicals, primarily pedagogical. It has been detected that public bilingual schools in Canada contrib-ute to the mastery of the Ukrainian language as a major factor in pre-serving the ethnocultural identity of Canadian Ukrainians, an important means of their ties to the world Ukrainians.
Artykuł zawiera retrospektywną analizę ewolucyjnych procesów kształtowania się i rozwoju edukacji językowej Ukraińców w środowisku wieloetnicznym Kanady oraz istotnej roli państwowej szkoły dwujęzycznej (ukraińsko-angielskiej), jej znaczenia w zachowaniu kultury narodowej diaspory ukraińskiej. W artykule podkreślono organizacyjno-pedagogiczne zasady procesu edukacyjnego w szkołach dwujęzycznych jako głównego sposobu uczenia się języka ojczystego przez kanadyjskich Ukraińców. W Kanadzie istnieją cztery rodzaje programów immersyjnych. Różnią się od siebie liczbą godzin szkolnych poświęconych na naukę w drugim (ukraińskim) języku. Realizacja programu pełnego „zanurzenia” w drugim języku zajmuje 80–100% ogólnego czasu nauki. W programach częściowego „zanurzenia” szkolenie w pierwszej połowie dnia prowadzone jest w języku ukraińskim , a w drugiej – w języku angielskim. Ustalono, że system edukacji dwujęzycznej dawał uczniom możliwość opanowania języka ukraińskiego jako przedmiotu, a jednocześnie nauki niektórych przedmiotów szkolnych w tym języku, co jest niezwykle waż-ne z psychologicznego punktu widzenia. Zgodnie z programem edukacyjnym dla klas I–XII, w pierwszych trzech klasach główny nacisk kładzie się na słuchanie, mówienie i kultywowanie szacunku dla kultury, ale już w II klasie dzieci rozpoczynają naukę czytania i pisania. W klasach IV–VI kształtuje się kulturę języka – jego rozumienie, mówienie czytanie i pisanie, a w klasach VII–XII uczniowie doskonalą znajomość języka i mowy, umiejętności i zdolności, które wykorzystują w życiu codziennym. Stwierdzono, że główną metodą kształtowania kompetencji językowych i mowy jest metoda konwersacyjno-wizualna. W tym celu nauczy-ciele szeroko wykorzystują metodyczne zasoby dydaktyczne: drukowane publikacje edukacyjne, materiały audiowizualne, materiały dydaktyczno-metodyczne o różnych typach mediów, zasoby informacyjne i komunikacyjne, internetowe, a także periodyki, przede wszystkim pedagogiczne. Publiczne szkoły dwujęzyczne w Kanadzie przyczyniają się do opanowania języka ukraińskiego jako głównego czynnika w zachowaniu tożsamości etnokulturowej kanadyjskich Ukraińców, ważnego środka ich więzi z innymi Ukraińcami na świecie.

Identity and contemporary problems of the indigenous people of the Peruvian Amazon

Opis:: Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza współczesnych problemów rdzennej ludności Amazonii peruwiańskiej, a w szczególności poszukiwania i zrozumienia własnej tożsamości, dostępu do edukacji, a także podtrzymania relacji z ziemią oraz ochrony surowców naturalnych. Kwestia ta jest szczególnie istotna w Peru – państwie wielokulturowym i wieloetnicznym. Przybycie Europejczyków na tereny Nowego Świata, a w konsekwencji zakładanie redukcji misyjnych, akulturacja oraz asymilacja kulturowa doprowadziły do ubożenia lub zanikania kultur rdzennych. Ponadto działalność wydobywcza zapoczątkowana w latach 70. XIX spowodowała relokację autochtonów z ich tradycyjnych terytoriów oraz degradację środowiska naturalnego. Dopiero od lat 70. XX wieku działalność organizacji rdzennych doprowadziła do stopniowych zmian w kwestii ich praw, a uchwalenie w 1993 roku Konstytucji Peru rozpoczęło proces zainteresowania państwa „kwestią rdzenną”. Kolejne akty prawne wniosły nowe zapisy dotyczące między innymi: ochrony i rozwoju rodzimych kultur, aktywnego uczestniczenia w życiu państwa, Międzykulturowej Edukacji Dwujęzycznej, zachowania i ochrony terytoriów oraz surowców naturalnych. Dodatkowo rewitalizacja i ponowne zainteresowanie kulturami rdzennymi doprowadziły do propagowania oraz kultywowania tradycyjnych zwyczajów. Mimo to niedopracowane oraz nieprzestrzegane polityki w kwestii edukacji czy ochrony rodzimych terenów wciąż wywołują nowe napięcia, konflikty i wyzwania, z którymi autochtoni muszą się zmagać. Obecnie organizacje rdzenne oraz rząd dążą do tworzenia i rozwijania przedsięwzięć, które przyczyniłyby się do zażegnania problemów, które dotykają nie tylko społeczeństwa rodzime, ale również cały region.
The aim of this work is to analyze the contemporary problems of the indigenous people of the Peruvian Amazon, in particular the search for and understanding of their own identity, access to education, as well as maintaining relationships with the land and the protection of natural resources. This issue is particularly important in Peru - a multicultural and multiethnic country. The arrival of Europeans to the areas of the New World and, consequently, the establishment of the Jesuit missions, acculturation and cultural assimilation led to the impoverishment or disappearance of indigenous cultures. In addition, mining activities initiated in the 1870s resulted in the relocation of indigenous peoples from their traditional territories and the degradation of the natural environment. It was not until the 1970s that the activities of indigenous organizations led to gradual changes in their rights, and the adoption of the Constitution of Peru in 1993 began the process of state interest in the "indigenous issue". Subsequent legal acts introduced new provisions concerning, among others: protection and development of native cultures, active participation in the life of the state, Intercultural Bilingual Education, preservation and protection of territories and natural resources. In addition, revitalization and renewed interest in indigenous cultures have led to the promotion and cultivation of traditional customs. Nevertheless, underdeveloped and unobserved policies regarding education or protection of native lands still cause new tensions, conflicts and challenges that indigenous peoples have to deal with. Currently, indigenous organizations and the government are striving to create and develop projects that would contribute to solving problems that affect not only native societies, but also the entire region.
