Opis:: Ventilation of accomodation in warmed buildings well with tight windows' joinery is perturbed. The two-function heaters which are more and more frequently installed in the flats make up additional problem. This article presents results of reaserch on example of two apartments furnished with Individual System of Air Intake. This system causes reduction of CO2 concentration in rooms. Valus of this parameter has been under permissible valus (1000 ppm). The air humidity has decreased what causes reduction of the stuffy air feeling the room. In result of ventilation system action, the working of two-function water heaters has not been perturbed.

Opis:: The article presents the characteristics of collapses of three building structures which occurred as a result of defects in workmanship, including the Hyatt Regency Hotel building in Kansas City, a building in Shanghai and the roof over a part of the grandstand at the stadium of FC Twente in Enschede. These events had a global impact. The paper describes also the construction of and the repair of damage to the elevated reinforced concrete tank for storing liquids.

Opis:: W artykule została przeprowadzona analiza przepisów prawa związanych z geodezją i kartografią w zakresie budynków ujawnianych w bazie danych katastru nieruchomości. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono konturowi budynku w bazie ewidencji gruntów i budynków oraz jednemu z atrybutów opisowych budynku, jakim jest pole powierzchni zabudowy. W aktualnych przepisach prawa pole powierzchni zabudowy wynika wprost z konturu budynku. Tezą artykułu jest stwierdzenie, że aktualny sposób definiowania konturu budynku oraz wynikającej z niego powierzchni zabudowy nie oddaje postaci, jaką budynek faktycznie przyjmuje w terenie. W celu weryfikacji powyższej tezy przytoczono przykłady różnorodnych budynków. Przykłady te uwidaczniają mankamenty w definicjach, co z kolei powoduje niejednolitość danych ewidencyjnych w bazie katastru nieruchomości w skali Polski. Skutkiem błędów w aktualnie obowiązujących definicjach są również ograniczone możliwości wykorzystywania danych katastru nieruchomości podczas zadań związanych zplanowaniem gospodarczym, planowaniem przestrzennym oraz wymiarem podatków i świadczeń. Na podstawie analizy aktualnych aktów prawnych oraz przykładów budynków występujących w terenie w artykule sformułowano propozycje definicji konturu budynku oraz powierzchni zabudowy budynku.
This paper analyzes the legal regulations related to cartography and surveying with regard to the building structures entered into the real estate cadastral database. Particular attention has been paid to the contour of a building structure in the register of land and buildings, and to one of the descriptive attributes – the development area. Under the current laws, the development area results directly from the contour of a building structure. The thesis of this paper is that the current manner of defining the contour of a building and the resulting development area do not reflect the factual status of the building in the field. In order to verify the above thesis, examples of various building structures have been provided that reveal flaws in the definitions. The result is a lack of uniformity in the collected cadastral data in the database of the real estate cadastre of Poland. The consequences of the definitions that are currently binding also include limited possibilities when using real estate cadastral data for economic and spatial planning as well as assessing taxes and benefits. Based on an analysis of the current legal acts and examples of the existing building structures, the author formulated proposals for a definition of the contour of a building structure and its development area.

Opis:: This publication addresses the issue of protection of the interests of third parties (neighbors) in proceedings concerning the maintenance and use of building structures under the Polish Construction Law. The outcome of such proceedings is of interest not only to the addressees of the decisions made, i.e. the owners or operators of building structures but also to third parties (neighbors) whose interests may be affected. Therefore, the paper presents an attempt to assess whether the interests of such persons are protected in proceedings concerning the use and maintenance of building structures and if so, what is the form of this protection, and what subjective and objective criteria determine the protection provided to third parties. In addition, the principles and legal provisions that make up this protection are presented, and as a result, it is determined whether they guarantee the implementation appropriate for the constitutional standards of a democratic law-abiding state.

Opis:: The subject of the study is the issue of freedom of construction, shown against the background of obligations relating to the maintenance of buildings. The source of building freedom is the constitutional principle of property protection, which provides the owner with protection against unlawful infringement of his rights and excessive power of public administration bodies. However, the exercise of building freedom does not mean complete freedom in the use of the building structure, because it has its limits outlined in the implementation of the values indicated in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. В статье рассмотрен новый инструмент для моделирования деталей, произведенных с использованием технологий быстрого прототипирования, которые имеют большой потенциал для создания конструкций с программируемыми свойствами, особенно для элементов, связанных с диссипацией энергии при деформации. Возможность использования большого разнообразия материалов и управляемой схемы выращивания деталей является наибольшим преимуществом данной технологии, в то время как массовому внедрению технологий в промышленность препятствует высокая цена на оборудование и материалы.

Relocation of building structures is an expensive and atypical operation. It is used for selected buildings of heritage value, which are threatened by natural disaster and human development. Relocation technology may also be used for smaller scale projects, e.g. in housing construction, which takes into account sustainable development principles and environmental protection considerations. An economic analysis of a building project can factor in well-preserved and verifi ed elements of deteriorating buildings as opportunities for reuse in a new location. Building relocation may be motivated by social, cultural or individual needs. This enables an integration of traditional and contemporary technologies to create a unique and unconventional building. The trend is increasingly popular in western and southern Europe and some projects of this type can also be found in Poland.
