Opis:: Artykuł zawiera opis przykładu użycia metod eksploracji danych do wykrywania nadużyć w systemach biznesowych IT. Przedstawiono wybrane metody eksploracyjne – k-najbliższych sąsiadów, drzewa wzmacniane, sieci neuronowe, drzewa CHAID, drzewa C&RT, MARSplines. Metody te zastosowano do zbudowania projektu eksploracyjnego w programie STATISTICA 10 PL. Do badań użyto danych z konkursu KDD Cup 99. Zawierają one symulowane ataki w komputerowej sieci wojskowej.
This paper describes how to use the method of data mining methods to detect fraud. Several useful for fraud detection data mining methods described in this article, namely: k-nearest neighbor, wood-reinforced, neural networks, trees, CHAID, C & RT tree, MARSplines. These methods have been used to build the project exploration in STATISTICA 10 PL. Usefulness of these methods to detect attacks on computer network. The study used data from the KDD Cup 99 competition. These data include simulated attacks on military networks.

Opis:: Celem rozpoczętych badań jest określenie największej użyteczności zarówno wybranych pozycji sprawozdawczych i mierników analitycznych w procesie decyzyjnym, jak i systemu informatycznego wspomagającego przeprowadzanie różnego rodzaju analiz finansowych. W artykule przedstawieniowo uzyskane wyniki z przeprowadzonego eksperymentu z udziałem uczestników, koncentrując się na dwóch zagadnieniach: (1) oceny jakościowej systemu klasy Business Intelligence ze względu na dwa kryteria związane z wyszukiwaniem i prezentacją danych potrzebnych do prowadzonej analizy finansowej danych oraz (2) oceny potencjalnych trudności związanych z korzystaniem z tego sytemu. W badaniu zastosowano połączenie dwóch metod, tj. testu zadaniowego oraz listy kontrolnej.
The aim of initialized research is to determine usefulness of selected entries in reports and analytical indicators in decision process and evaluation of information system supporting carrying out various financial analyses. In this paper we concentrated on presenting preliminary results of research on evaluation of information system. We conducted an experiment with the participation of users. We combined two methods, that is usability tests and heuristic evaluation. The research was conducted according to proposed procedure. In this article we described assumptions of conducted study, used questionnaires and its course. We analyzed data obtained from questionnaire. The article is concluded with the summary.

Opis:: Celem artykułu było określenie roli nowoczesnych narzędzi Business Intelligence na kokpicie menedżerskim, wykorzystywanych do wspomagania zarządzania ryzykiem. W artykule przedstawiono proces wdrażania kokpitu menedżerskiego w systemie Business Intelligence dla potrzeb zarządzania ryzykiem w organizacji. Scharakteryzowano kluczowe mierniki i wskaźniki wykorzystywane do zarządzania ryzykiem w organizacji oraz przedstawiono formy ich prezentacji na kokpicie menedżerskim. Jako przykład wykorzystano wdrożenie systemu zarządzania ryzykiem w banku spółdzielczym. Omówiono zastosowania kokpitu menedżerskiego uwzględniające analityczne i graficzne narzędzia do wizualizacji danych na kokpicie.
The article presents the implementation of dashboards in Business Intelligence system for risk management within the organization. The aim of the article was to determine the role of new business intelligence tools in the cockpit managerial, used to support risk management. The article describes the key metrics and indicators used for risk management in the organization and presented the forms of their presentation on the dashboard. As an example, the authors present the implementation of the risk management system in a cooperative bank. The authors analyzed the use of dashboards, taking into account analytical and graphical tools for data visualization on the dashboard.

Opis:: This article describes in detail the elements of value creation through the transformations and flexibility, which is carried out in the implementation of sustainable manufacturing. The purpose of this study is to generate the criteria or elements that build the sustainable value creation process through a literature review analysis. The overall classification of sustainable manufacturing implementation discussed shows several essential factors that support this. The process of review studies on selected papers strengthens the classification carried out to obtain the necessary elements of sustainable value creation. The value created can later be a hallmark of the company's superiority to survive the market competition. Besides, the role of partnerships, such as collaboration indicates a positive influence in generating value creation to increasing the company's competitive rate. In addition, the importance of partnership processes such as collaboration and cooperation between stakeholders, is needed to generate value cr-ation to increase the company's competitive level. The partnership process is one of the critical factors in creating sustainable value in achieving sustainable manufacturing in the future.

Opis:: Jedną z najważniejszych barier przemian ukierunkowanych na przeciwdziałanie występującym w gospodarce zaburzeniom i nieprawidłowościom, które w skrajnych przypadkach mogą prowadzić do bankructw przedsiębiorstw i całych sektorów produkcyjnych, jest niedorozwoju i niedostosowanie szeroko rozumianej instytucjonalno-regulacyjnej infrastruktury do wymogów nowego wzorca cywilizacyjnego. Częścią tak rozumianej infrastruktury gospodarki jest instytucjonalna infrastruktura upadłości przedsiębiorstw. Referat bazuje na badaniach empirycznych i ukierunkowany jest na wybrane elementy tej infrastruktury, m.in. takie jak: prawo upadłościowe i naprawcze w kontekście jurysdykcji gospodarczej oraz prawo bilansowe. Kwestie te analizowane są na tle ogólnych dysfunkcji w gospodarce, co z kolei wiąże się z modelem ustroju gospodarczego.
One of the most serious barriers to transformations aimed to prevent dysfunctions and irregularities in economy, which can lead to bankruptcies of enterprises and whole production sectors in extreme cases, is underdevelopment and lack of adjustment of broadly understood institutional and regulatory infrastructure to the requirements of the new civilisation model. A part of such understood economy infrastructure is the institutional infrastructure of corporate bankruptcies. The report is based on empirical research and is oriented on selected elements of this infrastructure, among others such as: the bankruptcy and repair law within the context of economic jurisdiction as well as the balance sheet law. The issues are addressed against a background of general dysfunctions in economy, which is in turn connected with the model of economic system.

Opis:: In this paper we have discussed the issue of motivating employees in companies of different size classes. Aim of this study is to show the differences in the motivation of employees in small-medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises. The work consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes the nature and theories of motivation. The second chapter is devoted to tangible and intangible measures of motivation. The third describes the motivation systems in small- medium-sized businesses and large enterprises. The last chapter is devoted to research into differences in the motivation of employees in small-medium-sized businesses and large enterprises.
W niniejszej pracy zostały omówione zagadnienia dotyczące motywowania pracowników w przedsiębiorstwach różnych klas wielkości. Celem było pokazanie różnic w motywowaniu pracowników w sektorze MŚP i dużych przedsiębiorstwach. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia istotę i teorie motywacji. Drugi został poświęcony materialnym i niematerialnym środkom motywacji. Trzeci zawiera opis systemów motywacyjnych w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach oraz dużych przedsiębiorstwach. Ostatni rozdział ma charakter badawczy i przedstawia różnice w motywowaniu pracowników w sektorze MŚP i w dużych przedsiębiorstwach.

The study analyzes ethical norms and values of Islamic business ethics in economic activities, and shows the Islamic Business Networks as implementations of the above norms and values. In the first chapter the author explains some religious terminology with regard to the sources of Islamic business ethics. The second chapter introduces the main determinants of the Islamic economic system, such as zakah institution, permitted and prohibited industries, the prohibition of usury, and others. The third chapter presents two examples of practical application of Islamic business ethics in social business networks.

Opis:: The article presents the key elements of the Intelligent Management Dashboard InKoM. The InKoM system was designed, built and implemented in the TETA BI environment as the fundamental product of a project which research and commercialization phases were conducted in 2012-2014. The innovative Intelligent Dashboard for SMEs Managers developed by the consortium is both a supplement to and an extention of the TETA BI system, which is a set of business intelligence solutions marketed by UNIT4 TETA BI Center. The major innovation of the InKoM system lies in a very wide application of methods, techniques and tools for visual data exploration in the field of economic and financial knowledge. The creators of the system believe that the approach they adopted and the solutions they developed provide managers of SMEs with some advanced analytical and information tools which had not been available for them earlier and which improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making processes. It should be added that the project InKoM and the system created under it are the examples of collaboration and knowledge transfer between a scientific research institution, a commercial manufacturer of business software and business practitioners, cooperation without which it is impossible to develop innovative solutions to support management.

Tytuł:: System bezpieczeństwa firmy a problem nielojalności pracowników
Security system of a company and the problem of disloyalty of employees

Opis:: Praca magisterska poświęcona została ograniczeniu problemu nielojalności pracowników. Na jej łamach dokonano szerokiego przeglądu literatury przedmiotu w językach polskim i angielskim. W pracy zawarto własną propozycję zarysu modelu systemu bezpieczeństwa firmy, mającego służyć firmowym decydentom do tworzenia własnych systemów skierowanych na problem nielojalnych zachowań pracowników. Głównym celem pracy było zestawienie wspomnianego zarysu modelu z doświadczeniami decydentów firm działających na terenie Polski. Badania (przeprowadzone w 50 przedsiębiorstwach w oparciu o kwestionariusz ankiety) wykazały, że przejawiają one dalekie od ideału podejście do kwestii swojego bezpieczeństwa. W pracy ponadto wykazano, że wysoki poziom lojalności pracowników ma pozytywny wpływ na bezpieczeństwo firmy. Zobrazowano również poziom percepcji poszczególnych zagrożeń związanych z pracowniczą nielojalnością, a także stopień rozpowszechnienia tych zagrożeń. Dodatkowo ustalone zostały istotne statystycznie związki pomiędzy poszczególnymi elementami systemu bezpieczeństwa. Praca zawiera także teoretyczną propozycję metody zarządzania ryzykiem nielojalnych zachowań pracowników.
The core problem behind this thesis is the issue of employee disloyalty and how to solve it. It is based on a wide spectrum of literature published in Polish and English. The work includes a proprietary model of the company's security system, designed to serve corporate decision-makers to create their own systems addressing the problem of disloyal behaviour among employees. The main aim of the work was to compare the outline of the model with the experience of decision-makers working for the companies operating in Poland. Studies (conducted in 50 companies based on survey questionnaire) have shown that they are far from idealistic approaches to their security. In addition, it has been shown that a high level of employee loyalty has a positive impact on company’s security. The level of perception of particular hazards associated with employee disloyalty, as well as the degree of dissemination of these threats, was also visualized. Additionally, statistically significant relationships were established between the various elements of the security system. The work also includes a theoretical proposal for a method managing the risk of employee disloyal behaviour.

Opis:: Currently operating enterprises are more and more willing to adopt a process approach in their structures. The process approach means the transition from traditionally understood management towards adapting to constantly changing environmental conditions. This change is accompanied by the possibility of using a wide range of tools of ICT technology, that allow modelling of any type of process occurring in the enterprise, including processes related to OHS. Thus, the objective of the paper is to indicate the opportunity for the integration of OHS processes with other processes (primary and auxiliary) of the organization using ERP systems. In the first part of the study, there will be indicated the determinants of the development of the process approach in modern enterprises. Subsequently, there will be characterized OHS processes against the background of other processes of the organization. In the third part, there will be indicated the most significant features of ERP systems. The last part will refer to the practical implementation of the process in the area of OHS in the Macrologic Merit system.
