Opis:: Celem referatu jest zebranie dotychczasowych sposobów rozumienia zagadnienia języka uczuć przez lingwistów oraz zaproponowanie sposobu opisu języka uczuć. Zagadnienie to było przedmiotem zainteresowania takich badaczy jak Wierzbicka, Grabias, Nowakowska-Kempna, Awdiejew, Habrajska, Pajdzińska, Data. Biorąc pod uwagę poziomy języka, uwzględniane w gramatyce komunikacyjnej, autorka rozważa zjawiska nazywanie uczuć oraz ich wyrażania. Nazywanie mieści się na poziomie ideacyjnym, Wyrażanie – na poziomie interakcyjnym. Badając wypowiedzi pod względem języka uczuć, zauważyć można, że nie zawsze łatwo jest wskazać granicę między wymienionymi poziomami. Trudności te związane są przede wszystkim z dwiema kwestiami. Pierwsza z nich polega na wykorzystaniu nazw uczuć do ich wyrażania, mamy wtedy do czynienia z wyrażaniem uczuć za pomocą ich nazywania. Druga kwestia to emotywne nacechowania nazw uczuć albo też emotywne nazywanie reakcji mogących świadczyć o uczuciu. Analiza wypowiedzi, zawierających nazywanie i wyrażanie uczuć dowodzi, że w różnych odmianach języka omawiane zjawisko występuje w bardzo różnych zakresach i przejawia się bardzo zróżnicowanymi środkami językowymi).
The goal of the paper is collecting hitherto existing ways of understanding the concept of the language of feelings by linguists and suggesting a way of describing the language of feelings. This question was the subject interest of such researchers as Wierzbicka, Grabias, Nowakowska-Kempna, Awdiejew, Habrajska, Pajdzińska, and Data. Taking into account the levels of a language, included in communication grammar, the author considers naming of feelings and expressing them. The naming is contained in the ideation level, the expressing – in the interaction level. Examining utterances with reference to the language of feelings one can notice that it is not easy to show a borderline between the mentioned levels. The difficulties are mainly connected with two questions. The first one consists in using the names of feelings for expressing them, in which the feelings are expressed by naming them. The second question is the emotive marking of the names of feelings or emotive naming of reactions which can manifest the feeling. The analysis the utterances including naming and expressing feelings proves that the phenomenon in question occurs in various scopes and manifest in diverse means of language.

The teaching of Spanish present subjunctive in the coursebooks of Spanish as a foreign language on B1 level

Opis:: The aim of this master’s thesis is to investigate and compare different aspects of teaching Spanish present subjunctive in coursebooks of Spanish as a foreign language on B1 level. In the first two chapters of the theoretical part we have defined and analyzed the concepts of time and mood. In the following two chapters we have exposed some fundamental terms in didactics of foreign languages and two important documents, that is, the Common European Framework of Reference and the Curriculum Plan of the Cervantes Institute. In the practical part, we have carried out the analysis of the exercises selected from Polish and Spanish coursebooks, taking into account the quantity and type of the communicative functions of present subjunctive introduced in each case as well as the three stages of teaching grammar. Furthermore, we have verified which language skills are most frequently used in the chosen manuals and whether the Polish authors took into consideration the functioning of the Polish grammatical system when explaining the Spanish subjunctive mood.
El objetivo del presente trabajo es investigar y comparar diferentes aspectos de la enseñanza del presente de subjuntivo en los manuales de ELE del nivel B1. En los dos primeros capítulos de la parte teórica hemos definido y analizado los conceptos de tiempo y modo. En los dos siguientes, hemos expuesto los términos fundamentales en la didáctica de lenguas y dos documentos importantes, a saber, el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia y el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes. En la parte práctica, hemos llevado a cabo el análisis de los ejercicios recopilados de los manuales polacos y españoles elegidos, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad y el tipo de las funciones comunicativas de dicho modo introducidas en cada caso, así como las tres etapas de la enseñanza de la gramática. Asimismo, hemos comprobado qué actividades de lengua se emplean con mayor frecuencia y si los autores polacos han tenido en cuenta el funcionamiento del sistema gramatical polaco a la hora de explicar el modo subjuntivo español.
Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie i porównanie różnych aspektów nauczania hiszpańskiego czasu teraźniejszego trybu łączącego w podręcznikach do nauczania języka hiszpańskiego jako obcego na poziomie B1. W dwóch pierwszych rozdziałach części teoretycznej zdefiniowaliśmy i zanalizowaliśmy pojęcia czasu i trybu. W kolejnych dwóch przedstawiliśmy podstawowe terminy z dziedziny dydaktyki języków obcych oraz dwa ważne dokumenty, a mianowicie Europejski System Opisu Kształcenia Językowego oraz Program nauczania Instytutu Cervantesa. W części praktycznej przeprowadziliśmy analizę ćwiczeń z wybranych polskich i hiszpańskich podręczników, mając na uwadze ilość i rodzaj funkcji komunikacyjnych wspomnianego trybu wprowadzonych w każdym przypadku jak i również trzy etapy nauczania gramatyki. Co więcej, sprawdziliśmy jakie sprawności językowe ćwiczy się najczęściej w wybranych podręcznikach oraz czy polscy autorzy mieli na uwadze funkcjonowanie polskiego systemu gramatycznego podczas tłumaczenia hiszpańskiego trybu łączącego.

Opis:: The purpose of the paper is to analyse linguistic practices of specifically one group of English Facebook users – the speakers of Indian English. As one of the most thoroughly studied members of the so-called New Englishes group, Indian English is believed to demonstrate a number of characteristic features resulting especially from the prolonged English-Hindi language and culture contact. Following a brief outline of the history and current position of English in India the paper examines in detail characteristic features of Indian English found in the Facebook material collected from fan pages and private messages: changes in spelling and pronunciation of English words, use of abbreviations, characteristic features of nativised Indian English grammar, language errors, as well as some typical sociolinguistic features of that variety of English, notably forms of address, culture-specific elements, and code-switching.

Opis:: Niniejsze opracowanie przybliża pojęcie gramatyki komunikacyjnej. Teoretyczne wprowadzenie samego terminu poprzedza część analityczną, której zadaniem jest przedstawienie wykładników gramatyki komunikacyjnej obecnych w badanych tekstach. Analizie poddane są dwa felietony wybrane spośród tekstów „Tygodnika Powszechnego”. Obydwa pochodzą z rubryki „Okruchy Słowa” autorstwa bp. Grzegorza Rysia i stanowią przykłady dydaktycznego dyskursu religijno-dziennikarskiego, każdy z nich realizuje jednak inną intencję komunikacyjną. Podczas gdy jeden ma na celu zmianę postawy odbiorcy, drugi skupia się na przekazie informacji. W zależności od zamierzonego celu autor stosuje środki językowe, z którymi wiążą się odpowiednie znaczniki gramatyki komunikacyjnej. Ich analiza pozwala poznać strukturę tekstu z uwzględnieniem kontekstualnych uwarunkowań
This article focuses on the notion of communicational grammar. The theoretical background introduces a textual analysis that aims at searching the markers of communicational grammar. The researched material comprises two articles selected from Tygodnik Powszechny. They feature in the Scraps of Words column written by bishop Grzegorz Ryś and constitute the examples of didactic religious and journalistic discourse. Each of them has an individual communicational goal. While the first one aims at changing the receiver’s attitude, the other one mainly transmits some information. Depending on the intention, the author uses appropriate linguistic phrases and markers associated with them. The analysis of the two texts reveals their structure along with its contextual embeddings.

Opis:: Do you Speak Vong? The present article aims to present the „Vong-language“ as a relatively new language creation of German Internet-based communication, its origin, development and main features. The orthographic and grammatical features of this language phenomenon are based on the fact that spelling and grammatical errors are committed intentionally and according to certain regularities. Linguists present the „Vong-language“ as an instrument of criticism and language play that satirizes the language misuse of some Internet users.
Der vorliegende Beitrag setzt sich zum Ziel, die Vong-Sprache als eine relativ neue, in der deutschen internetbasierten Kommunikation funktionierende Sprachkreation, deren Herkunft, Entwicklung und Hauptmerkmale zu beschreiben. Die orthographischen und grammatischen Merkmale dieses Sprachphänomens beruhen darauf, dass Rechtschreib- und Grammatikfehler absichtlich und nach bestimmten Regularitäten begangen werden. Von den Sprachwissenschaftlern wird die Vong-Sprache als Mittel der Sprachkritik und des Sprachspiels präsentiert, das den falschen Sprachgebrauch einiger Internetnutzer persifliert.

Opis:: This paper is an introduction to the issue of buoys, i.e. signs normally produced with the non-dominant hand to ensure a spatial reference point for signs produced with the dominant hand. Simultaneous constructions of this type have been noticed in numerous sign languages, yet their equivalents have not been described in any detail for Polish Sign Language (PJM). The paper presents what can be said about the use of buoys in PJM on the basis of an analysis of a collection of empirical data extracted from the Corpus of Polish Sign Language (KPJM). The research confi rms that certain buoy types (fragment and depicting buoys) are frequent in PJM and can be found in recurring contexts, which speaks for considering them as a part of grammar of this language.

Opis:: The article offers an analysis of the perfective aspect within the approach of communicational grammar. The author provided an overview of selected verbs with a communication-based analysis of those which consist of recreating predicate-argument systems and their combinations (the so-called communicational scenarios) to indicate the impact of aspect on the resulting configuration of meaning. The text also includes examples of the analysis of metaphorical expressions.
