Opis:: Both the United Kingdom and Hungary run ambitious nuclear power plans to keep nuclear power as an important element of their energy mixes. The objective of the analysis is to identify if there is the intent and the possibility for a different form of public engagement in shaping the nuclear future. The study builds on the comparative analysis of the cases of Hungary and the United Kingdom. The ‘communication packages’ theory serves as reference of comparison. The study finds that changing social value sets and communication technology developments create challenges to governments in securing support for the nuclear agenda. This challenge creates an opportunity for members of the public with ‘reluctant acceptance’ of the nuclear agenda. Building on global uncertainty, challenges to the prevailing political and economic status quo, together with the growing influence of social media might assist the public to become vocal in their opinions about nuclear energy.

Opis:: Projektowanie opakowań jest zwyczajowo kojarzone ze sztukami projektowymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kreacji w wymiarze wizualnym i technicznym, co z założenia jest ujęciem wysoce fragmentarycznym. Wciąż brakuje badan na temat sposobu postrzegania opakowań przez końcowych użytkowników. Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu jest próba potwierdzenia zależności funkcjonalnej w obszarze wzornictwa opakowań. Główną tezą, wynikającą z dotychczasowych ustaleń empirycznych, jest wyróżnienie dwóch wymiarów funkcji gotowego opakowania. Celem pracy jest wykazanie zależności między formą opakowania a etykietą opakowania – zakłada się bowiem, że etykieta opakowania spełnia inne funkcje niż forma opakowania, co ma bardzo duży wpływ na proces projektowy i proces zarządzania wzornictwem (design management).
Packaging design is usually associated with design arts, with particular emphasis on creation in the visual and technical dimensions, which is by definition a highly fragmented approach. There is still a lack of research on how end users perceive packaging. The subject of this article is the attempt to confirm the functional dependence in the field of packaging design. The main thesis, resulting from the previous empirical findings, is the distinction of two dimensions of the function for the finished packaging. This is a functional relationship between the form of the packaging and the packaging label – as it turns out, the packaging label fulfills other functions than the packaging form itself, which has a very serious impact on the design process and the design management process.

At the outset, the author presents reflections on the contemporary challenges facing education and its importance in shaping the foundation of positive relationships, communication and dialogue. The purpose of this article is to show the benefits of using an educational package “Kit Box of Secrets” in the process of teaching and educating in kindergarten, with particular emphasis on building the foundations of communication, dialogue and forming positive relations. This is an interesting way of working with a child, a group of children as well as parents in terms of children selfknowledge and the development of constructive peer and social relations in preschool education.
