- The authoress informs the readers about the conference of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) that took place in Denver, Colorado in November 2008. The AAACE organizes its national conference each year, and the 2008 Conference was the fifty seventh in a row. There are two commissions within AAACE that organize their pre-conferences. One of them is the Commission on International Adult Education (CIAE), which gathers adult education specialists from the United States and many other countries. The article highlights the program of the CIAE Pre-Conference with the special focus on the content of the papers presented during the Pre-Conference and published in the proceedings.
