Opis:: W artykule omówiona została charakterystyka procesów budowlanych wraz z odniesieniem do systemów gniazdowych i przepływowych. Przedstawiono podstawowe modele szeregowania zadań stosowane w przygotowaniu wykonawczych harmonogramów budowlanych. Przedstawiony został zbiór kryteriów w nich wykorzystywanych. Dodatkowo opracowany został zbiór kryteriów ściśle dedykowanych dla potrzeb budownictwa.
The article discusses the characteristics of the construction process with reference to job shop and flow shop models. Paper also presents the basic scheduling model used in the preparation of implementing construction schedules. Presented is a set of criteria they used. In addition, a set of criteria has been developed strictly dedicated to the needs of the construction industry.

Opis:: In the last years we have witnessed increasingly frequent interest in an individual way of living in family houses. This provides a more natural way of living and living freely in contrast to the impersonal and restrictive living in panel housing estates. On this change largely responded companies offering a variety of system construction and technological solutions. With traditional and proven construction materials, the company also new, modern and fully-fledged alternative housing. One of them is the modern prefabricated structural systems based on wood. Even despite undeniable advantages that are associated with wooden buildings, preventing their more widespread low level of knowledge and awareness on the part of consumers and investors, as well as strong ties to traditional brick technology. An important factor in deciding the most building owners in choosing the construction of wooden houses is a measure of coping and recovery advantages of individual design systems that will mainly be reflected in the costs, quality and speed of construction. For this reason, we have decided to carry out a survey aimed at examining the impact of the procurement method on existing wood buildings in the context of construction time and acquisition costs.

Opis:: Zrównoważone budownictwo (sustainable building industry) coraz wyraźniej wpisuje się w nowy, kształtujący się dopiero obszar wiedzy zwany sustainable science. Obecnie rozpatruje się je głównie przez pryzmat obiektów budowlanych, koncentrując się na projektach architektoniczno-konstrukcyjnych, technologiach budowlanych, eksploatacji i likwidacji obiektów ocenianych z punktu widzenia energo i materiałochłonności, uciążliwości dla środowiska i szkodliwości dla życia i zdrowia człowieka. W tym nurcie dociekań niewiele miejsca poświęca się organizacjom uczestniczącym w budowlanych procesach inwestycyjnych. Autor podejmuje próbę wypełnienia tej luki. Używając pojęcia zrównoważony proces budowlany, wyjaśnia rolę i istotę uczestnictwa w nim zrównoważonych inwestorów, biur projektowych, przedsiębiorstw budowlanych i organów administracji państwowej.
Sustainable construction is becoming an ever more integral part of the new developing field of knowledge called sustainable science. At the present time it is considered mainly in terms of buildings and structures, concentrating on architectural plans and designs, construction technologies, ways of use, and the elimination of structures based on evaluation of energy and material consumption, environmental burden and risk to human life and health. In this line of inquiry little space is devoted to the organizations participating in construction investment processes. In this article the author attempts to fill that gap. Using the concept of a sustainable construction process, he explains the role and importance of the participation in that process of sustainable investors, design firms, construction firms and administrative authorities.

Opis:: Culture has many meanings and synonyms in Polish - so we can talk about good manners, savoir-vivre rules, social refinement or politeness. Most people intuitively know how to behave in situations outside of work. In recent years, there has also been increasing talk about culture in the workplace. This is particularly important in the construction industry at a time when new forms of employment are emerging and many organizations are undergoing restructuring processes. This causes e.g. high turnover of staff, employing more contract workers, frequent changes in the working environment, as well as performing work on various construction sites. In such cases, the direct and long-term impact of supervision on maintaining safe and cultured working conditions becomes increasingly limited, and all construction workers should take responsibility and adopt an attitude of active and continuous care for the culture and safety of their behavior and others, and be personally involved in the process of shaping cultural and safe attitudes on construction sites. The article defines culture and proposes its use on construction sites.

Opis:: The “Construction 2025” is a United Kingdom (UK) Government Strategy introduced in 2013 to improve the construction industry in the United Kingdom by meeting outlined performance targets by 2025. However, with only a few years left to reach the targets, it is unclear how much industry is advancing to meet them. This paper reviews the progress to achieve the Strategy targets. The data collected from 96 UK construction professionals was utilised to assess the key barriers to achieving the UK “Construction 2025” Strategy targets. Results indicate that industry professionals are uncertain about reaching the reduction in overall cost and time targets by 2025. However, they are more positive about reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the trade gap. In terms of the key barriers, the results revealed a reluctance to adopt change, lack of implementation of new technology, fragmentation in the industry, and failure to adopt modern construction methods as the key barriers to the Strategy targets. The research is the first attempt at a comprehensive assessment of the progress and barriers to the UK “Construction 2025” Strategy. The results reinforce the call for government initiatives to transform the industry.

Opis:: New prepositional analytic constructions in contemporary PolishThis paper presents pairs of structures in which one structure is a correct synthetic phrase and the other is a corresponding analytic structure that is incorrect according to contemporary dictionaries. The latter are nevertheless used because speakers notice subtle differences between the synthetic and analytic forms. As a result, one structure cannot be replaced with the other in all contexts. The process of replacing synthetic structures with analytic ones is evidence of the intensifying tendency towards analyzation in Polish. This process has been observed in all periods of the history of the Polish language. Nowe przyimkowe konstrukcje analityczne we współczesnej polszczyźnieTematem artykułu są pary konstrukcji, z których pierwsza jest syntetyczna, druga – analityczna. Wszystkie opisywane formy analityczne są niezgodne z normą, a mimo to wielu użytkowników wybiera je zamiast połączeń syntetycznych. Funkcjonowanie w języku dwóch niemal identycznych struktur syntetycznej i analitycznej może być spowodowane subtelną różnicą znaczeniową między nimi. Proces ten jest dowodem działania tendencji analitycznej w polszczyźnie, obserwowanej we wszystkich okresach rozwoju języka polskiego.

Opis:: The article discusses the dangers arising from construction disasters. This phenomenon is the most serious effect of the risk that may occur in construction. I presented this on the basis of an analysis of all construction disasters that have taken place in Poland in the last twenty years. I made a detailed analysis of the events that occurred during the maintenance of building facilities, taking into account the reasons for their occurrence and the effects they cause. The aim of this analysis is to identify areas of risk in order to eliminate the hazard and, as a consequence, take appropriate actions to counteract this type of events. Unfortunately, one should be aware that despite technical progress building disasters cannot be completely avoided in our surrounding, but one must use the knowledge acquired on this basis to minimize their number.
W artykule omówiono zagrożenia wynikające z powstania katastrof budowlanych. Zjawisko to jest najpoważniejszym skutkiem ziszczenia się ryzyka, jakie może mieć miejsce w budownictwie. Przedstawiłem to na podstawie analizy ogółu katastrof budowlanych, które miały miejsce w Polsce w ostatnich ponad dwudziestu latach. Katastrofy budowlane to zdarzenia występujące rzadko patrząc na liczbę ogółu obiektów użytkowanych jak i nowo powstających, ale nie wolno ich lekceważyć, ponieważ przynoszą szkody majątkowe, a nierzadko powodują utratę życia i zdrowia.
