The article is dedicated to the attitude of the great world religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism) to the world of finance, including banking. The issue of usury plays a key role together with the evolution of ethical aspects related to obtaining compensation for money lending. The analysis is focused on the other aspects of banking activities, such as saving, investing, and institutional development of the banking sector as well. The author underlines the far-reaching convergence between religions in this area, in spite of the considerable variation in historical and geographical conditions of their formation. The importance of cultural (religious) differences, including the nuances or more fundamental aspects, has a significant impact on bank management in different regions. For successful development, large multinational corporations have to take into consideration the abovementioned circumstances, regardless of globalization processes.

In our globalizing world, the matter of international worker management is becoming more and more important. An international worker is a person who is sent to work in an organization that is located abroad, where that person spends at least one year. Such people come up against many problems connected with cultural differences in the new workplace. Management practice mainly uses selection oriented at attracting people with qualities facilitating cultural adaptation and cross-cultural training in order to limit these problems. The article discusses application of these two practices. Specifically, problems relating to individual traits useful in efficient work by international workers, cultural adaptation, and various kinds of cross-cultural training and its methods are described.

According to recent cross-cultural studies there exist culturally based differences between visual perception and the related cognitive processes (attention, memory). According to current research, East Asians and Westerners percieve and think about the world in very different ways. Westerners are inclined to attend to some focal object (a salient object within a perception field that is relatively big in size, fast moving, colourful) focusing on and analyzing its attributes. East Asians on the other hand are more likely to attend to a broad perceptual field, noticing relationships and changes. In this paper we want to describe the recent findings in the field and propose some directions for future research.

As the world becomes more and more culturally diverse, an accurate knowledge of the influence of cultural factors on the mental processes of an individual and the construction of social capital become increasingly important for our ability to effectively understand differences in culture. How can we cope with this task in everyday life? What is the relevance of comparative education in this process? One solution could be to create a certain intellectual map of cultural similarities and differences to which we could refer at any time in order to better understand the diversity around us. Such a peculiar encyclopaedia of knowledge about the diversity of the world has not yet been created, and it is unlikely that it will, given the dynamics of social processes, the multiplicity of events and ways of understanding them. Then how can a rational model for dealing with cultural diversity be created? In this article, I want to draw attention to the importance of comparative education in the creation of such a model, taking into account the relatively new position of comparativists recognising that a considerably important role in the process of coping with cultural diversity and difference is played i.a. by dialogic memory.

Previous studies suggest that human facial attractiveness is culturally universal. As they were conducted among Western populations and populations strongly influenced by the Western culture, it is not obvious if the preferences would also be the same in populations isolated from this culture. It is also not certain if the agreement would be the same in the case of attractive and unattractive faces. In the presented study participated 103 people from the Yali tribe (Papua, Indonesia) and 99 Poles. Their task was to choose the most attractive and unattractive face of the opposite sex from a set of 4 pictures (one attractive, one unattractive and two average faces of Polish people chosen in a pre-test). We showed significant cross-cultural differences in attractiveness preferences and similarities in choices of unattractive faces. We speculate that across cultures unattractiveness could be assessed on the basis of the same cues to health and biological quality. Attractiveness criteria seem to be more complex, specific to each population, and dependent on the population’s ecological conditions and morphological characteristics.

The chapter deals with the problem of responding to the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic in the context of cultural differences, in this case, Hinduism and Islam. The Authors emphasize the fact that while symptoms of the disease, its course, and medical consequences are likely to be virtually the same worldwide, as are the recommended treatments and pharmaceuticals, other factors can differ to a remarkable degree. These include the means of communicating risk, the reasons provided to justify government measures, and even people's responses to pandemic. These variations depend on the cultural millieu because, while cultural differences enrich our world, they also create barriers in the communication process, which may lead to unexpected consequences. The selected examples from the Hindu and Islamic civilizations illustrate the complex phenomena of culturally-dtermined pandemic responses.

The number of migrants in contemporary Germany is constantly growing. There are also increasing problems arising as a result of cultural differences between the immigrants and the local population and also due to different habits of both groups. These differences, foreign traditions and their perception in Germany seem to be important topics from viewpoint of cultural studies not only for scientist, but also for students of German Studies, especially if the customs and forms of life become the subject of literature. In the following article the authoress is trying to bring near some of the main cultural differences between migrants and the local community depicted in the literature. To achieve this goal she analyses selected texts of German writers of Turkish origin. She also makes an attempt at answering the question whether and to what extent such a kind of literature can be useful for the audience outside Germany.

From all the examples of nonverbal behaviour it has been scientifically proved that gestures reflect human thoughts and mental operations. Gestures project meanings that are stored in image schemas. Those mental representations are shaped by culturally determined experience. The aim of this article was to delve into the issue of the cross-cultural differences in nonverbal behaviour with the par-ticular focus on gestures from the point of view of cognitive linguistics. It was also of my interest to identify and categorise gestures as regards their universal and/or culture specific nature and create a background for possible further research.

The paper is devoted to chosen aspects of the situation of a child with migration experience in a new socio-cultural reality. The analyses undertaken in the article show the dilemmas and difficulties which accompany an individual functioning in the conditions of cultural differences. The text consists of two complementary parts. The first one presents specificity of enculturation and acculturation processes (learning of own and new culture). The second part describes the threads related to experiencing cultural differences and their psychological and social consequences. The consideration included in the paper enrich the narratives of people who experienced/are experiencing migration (mainly in the childhood) which are the results of empirical research (Polish context). The article may be useful to everyone who is interested in the issues of socio-cultural adaptation of children with migration experience.

Cultural aspects of negotiations between Polish and German companies

This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to citing definitions of negotiation. The author describes negotiation styles, negotiation phases and cites a figure of a model negotiator. The second chapter of this work has been dedicated to cultural differences influencing the international negotiations. These are the barriers in negotiating global transactions. It is also shown the distribution of cultures by Richard Gestelanda described in the book Cultural differences and behavior in business. In this chapter there is also a characteristic of German and Polish negotiators. The third chapter defines the purpose of the study and research questions, discusses the methodology applied research justifying its selection studies and their scope and questionnaire. The fourth chapter presents the results of research in a systematic form allowing their interpretations. All test results for clarity shown in the drawings. The work ends with the section summarizing the results of the survey, which were formulated conclusions.
Niniejsza praca magisterska składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Rozdział pierwszy poświęcony jest przytoczeniu definicji negocjacji. Autor opisuje w nim także style negocjacji, fazy negocjacji oraz przytacza sylwetkę wzorowego negocjatora. Drugi rozdział niniejszej pracy został dedykowany różnicom kulturowym mającym wpływ na negocjacje międzynarodowe. Omawiane są bariery w negocjowaniu transakcji globalnych. Przedstawiony jest także podział kultur według Richarda Gestelanda opisany w książce Różnice kulturowe, a zachowania w biznesie. W tym rozdziale znajduje się również charakterystyka negocjatorów niemieckich i polskich. Rozdział trzeci określa cel pracy oraz pytania badawcze, omawia także zastosowaną metodologię badań z uzasadnieniem jej wyboru, przeprowadzone badania i ich zakres oraz ankietę. W rozdziale czwartym zaprezentowano wyniki badań w usystematyzowanej formie pozwalającej na ich interpretacje. Wszystkie wyniki badań dla lepszego zobrazowania pokazano w formie rysunków. Pracę kończy podrozdział podsumowujący wyniki przeprowadzonego badania, w którym sformułowane zostały wnioski końcowe.

The subject of the work is regionalism in Italy. I choose this subject because Italy is very interesting country with unique culture, many internal differentiation. I concentate mainly to show differences between “rich” north and “poor” south regions of this country. In first chapter are general definitions, most important for this subject.Second chapter is about history of Italy, shows that the regional differences occur for a long time ago.Chapter three bring near Italy in present. Shows differences in life, thinking of a modern Italian people in north and south regions.Fourth chapter is a description of one south region – Campania. This region is in my opinion most unique in south. There is many specific traditions, culture.Last chapter show closer one chosen north region with famous culture – Venice.
Tematem mojej pracy jest regionalizm we Włoszech. Wybrałam to właśnie państwo, ze względu na niepowtarzalny, autonomiczny charakter jego regionów oraz bardzo bogatą, barwną i wielowiekową kulturę. Skupiłam się głównie na wyimaginowanym i nieprecyzyjnie określonym podziale, pomiędzy „bogatą” północą a „biednym” południem Półwyspu Apenińskiego. Ponieważ każdy z regionów znacznie się między sobą różni, nieprecyzyjnie, ogólnikowo i bardzo ciężko było by omawiać różnice pomiędzy górna a dolna częścią państwa. Dlatego też wybrałam po jednym przykładzie regionu, z południa Kampanię i Wenecję Euganejska z północy, na podstawie których zarysuję występujące na terenie Włoch różnice kulturowe.

Tematem niniejszej pracy są relacje bilateralne Polski i Japonii na płaszczyźnie polityczno-gospodarczej i kulturowej. Celem niniejszej pracy jest jest ustalenie który z krajów jest bardziej zaangażowany w tworzenie relacji i czy współpraca przebiega równolegle. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest różnicom kulturowym oraz charakterystyce japończyków i polaków w ujęciu Richarda R. Gestelanda oraz Geerta Hofstede. W drugim rozdziale przedstawiona została teoria soft power oraz jej użycie w Polsce i w Japonii. Trzeci rozdział to analiza współpracy polityczno-gospodarczej pomiędzy Polską a Japonią. W czwartym rozdziale zostały porównane dwa kierunki studiów: filologia japońska na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim oraz filologia polska na Tokijskim Uniwersytecie Studiów Międzynarodowych pod kątem nauki o Polsce w Japonii i nauki o Japonii w Polsce. Piąty rozdział poświęcony jest wzajemnej wymianie kulturowej w kategoriach takich jak komiks, film, literatura, teatr i taniec, muzyka oraz sztuki plastyczne. Na koniec tego rozdziału zostanie przedstawiona historia oraz rola Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japońskiej „Manggha” w promowaniu japońskiej kultury w Polsce. Ostatni rozdział poświęcony jest wydarzeniom organizowanym w ramach obchodów setnej rocznicy relacji polsko-japońskich zarówno w Polsce jak i w Japonii celem ukazania, który z krajów był w tej kwestii bardziej zaangażowany.
The subject of this study is bilateral cooperation between Poland and Japan on the political, economic and cultural level on the basis of cultural differences and soft power theory. The aim of this work is to determine which of those countries is more involved in building relationship and is the relationship run in parallel. The first chapter is dedicated to cultural differences and Japanese and Poles charateristic in Richard R. Gesteland's and Geert Hofstede's view. The second chapter presents soft power theory and its use in Poland and Japan. The third chapter analyzes cooperation between Poland and Japan on the political and economic level. In the fourth chapter were compared two degree courses: Japanese philology on Jagiellonian University and Polish philology on Tokyo University of Foreign Studies paying special attention to learning about Poland in Japan and learning about Japan in Poland. The fifth chapter is dedicaded to bilateral cultural exchange in categories such as comics, film, literature, theatre and dance, music and fine arts. At the end of this chapter were also presented history and role of “Manggha” Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in promoting japanese culture in Poland. The last chapter is dedicated to events related to celebrations of the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Japan and Poland to show which of those countries was more involved in this matter.

The article is devoted to two landmarks of Warsaw and Copenhagen, and it additionally makes a digression about the mermaid statue in Ustka. The author chooses not to offer structural or comparative analysis. Instead, he proposes to investigate the convergence and divergence of the symbols’ origin, their roots and utilization in cultural texts. Finally, he encounters fundamental cultural differences between the two, not so distant countries.

W artykule poruszono zagadnienie kapitału społecznego i jego związków z kulturą danego kraju. W pierwszej jego części przedstawiono koncepcje kapitału społecznego oraz omówiono różnice kulturowe, które mogą decydować o poziomie kapitału społecznego takie jak dystans do władzy, indywidualizm, tolerancję dla niepewności męskość-kobiecość, orientację długo lub krótkoterminową. Obejmuje ona różne ujęcia kapitału społecznego i sposoby jego pojmowania, a to jako sieć kontaktów poszczególnych jednostek umożliwiająca im korzystanie z różnych zasobów albo jako cecha danej społeczności sprzyjająca podejmowaniu społecznych i indywidualnych inicjatyw. Kolejna część opracowania obejmuje krótki opis wymienionych różnic kulturowych ze wskazaniem na te elementy, które mogą różnicować poszczególne kraje pod względem poziomu kapitału społecznego. Następnie przedstawiono wyniki badań nad wpływem indywidualizmu w kulturze poszczególnych stanów USA na poziom kapitału społecznego oraz wyniki badań nad związkiem między poziomem indywidualizmu w danym kraju a poziomem zaufania. Dalej przedstawiono wyniki badań nad wpływem kultury na poziom kapitału społecznego w regionach, na podstawie danych z dwudziestu sześciu krajów europejskich. Udowodniono w nich związek między dystansem do władzy, indywidualizmem, stopniem unikania niepewności i stopniem męskości a poziomem kapitału społecznego w danym regionie. Artykuł został przygotowany w oparciu o literaturę polską i anglojęzyczną, jego celem było przedstawienie dotychczasowych badań nad zróżnicowaniem kapitału społecznego i jego elementów składowych takich jak zaufanie interpersonalne, zaufanie uogólnione, zaufanie instytucjonalne, sieci sformalizowane, sieci niesformalizowane, zaangażowanie obywatelskie. Ponadto przedstawiono wnioski dotyczące możliwości prowadzenia dalszych badań w tym zakresie.
The article discussed the notion of social capital and its relation with the culture of specific country. In the first part of it, the concept of social capital was presented and cultural differences like power distance, individualism, masculinity or femininity, tolerance to ambiguity, deciding about the level of social capital were presented. It includes different approaches to social capital and ways of understanding it, as the network of contacts of separate entities enabling them using different resources or as feature of a given community, fostering taking social and individual initiatives. The next part of elaboration covers short description of cultural differences with an indication of these elements, which can differentiate separate countries in terms of the level of social capital. Then research results on the effect of individualism in the culture of separate states of the USA on social capital were presented and research results on the relationship between the level of individualism in each country and the level of trust were discussed. Then the research results on the effect of culture in twenty six regions of European countries were presented. The relationship between power distance, uncertainty avoidance, masculinity, individualism and the level of social capital was proven in mentioned research. Article was prepared on the basis of Polish and English-speaking literature. The aim was the presentation of current research on differentiation of social capital and its elements such as general trust, institutional trust, informal networks, formal networks, civic participation. Also conclusions concerning possibilities of conducting further research in this area were presented.

Opis:
Emotional processing and social problem-solving are important for mental well-being. For example, impaired emotional processing is linked with depression and psychosomatic problems. However, little is known about crosscultural differences in emotional processing and social problem-solving and whether these constructs are linked. This study examines whether emotional processing and social problem-solving differs between Western (British) and Eastern European (Polish) cultures. Participants (N = 172) completed questionnaires assessing both constructs. Emotional processing did not differ according to culture, but Polish participants reported more effective social problem-solving abilities than British participants. Poorer emotional processing was also found to relate to poorer social problem-solving. Possible societal reasons for the findings and the implications of the findings for culture and clinical practice are discussed.

The purpose of this thesis is to present the cultural differences that appear in negotiations, between Poland and the United States. Mention ways of negotiating, the characteristics of Polish and American negotiators and the impact of culture on human behavior. The thesis presents the main aspects related to the issue of cultural differences in negotiations on the example of Poland and the United States.This thesis is a study using a questionnaire. The aim of the study was to identify differences and similarities that appear in the negotiations between Poland and the United States. Existing cultural differences affect the style of negotiations. Conducted research have diagnosed cultural differences in negotiations and deepened understanding of the efficiency of conducting negotiations. Studies have shown that it is easier to carry out negotiations in the United States. It has been proved that, Polish negotiators seek to achieve their own goals, while the Americans promote concern for the relationship. Against the background of research, the American negotiators perform better than the Polish negotiators.This thesis presents the negotiations in the light of literature. Identifies the negotiation terminology, styles and techniques. It also presents the qualities of a good negotiator. Shows how stereotypes, corruption, business etiquette and the silhouette of a negotiator affect the cultural differences between the countries.
Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie różnic kulturowych pojawiających się w negocjacjach, na przykładzie Polski i Stanów Zjednoczonych. Wyróżnienie sposobów negocjowania, cechy negocjatorów Polskich i Amerykańskich oraz wpływ kultury na zachowanie ludzkie. Praca przedstawia główne aspekty związane z zagadnieniem różnic kulturowych w negocjacji, na przykładzie Polski i Stanów Zjednoczonych.W pracy dokonano badań z wykorzystaniem kwestionariusza. Celem przeprowadzonego badania była identyfikacja różnic oraz podobieństw pojawiających się w negocjacjach, pomiędzy Polską a Stanami Zjednoczonymi. Istniejące różnice kulturowe wpływają po części na styl prowadzenia negocjacji. Przeprowadzane badania zdiagnozowały różnice kulturowe występujące w negocjacjach i pogłębiły wiedzę o sprawności przeprowadzania negocjacji. Badania wykazały, iż łatwiej przeprowadza się negocjacje w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Dowiedziono, że polscy negocjatorzy dążą do osiągnięcia własnych celów, podczas gdy Amerykanie propagują troskę o wzajemne relacje. Na tle badań, amerykańscy negocjatorzy wypadają lepiej niż polscy negocjatorzy. Powyższa praca przedstawia negocjacje w świetle literatury przedmiotu. Identyfikuje terminologię negocjacji, style i techniki. Ponadto przedstawia cechy dobrego negocjatora. Ukazuje jak stereotypy, korupcja, etykieta w biznesie oraz sylwetka negocjatora wpływa na różnice kulturowe między danymi krajami.

This work is devoted to problems that can appear while establishing business contacts by representatives of various cultural backgrounds. Cultural differences are one of the most important factors causing discruption in communicztion. By cultural differences is understood such variables as language , different perceptions of time , physical distance , expressiveness , communication styles and a number of other variables that differ people on certain cultural dimensions. Improper intercultural communication can lead to a series of misunderstandings and, when it comes to business communication , failure in negotiations or even breaking off talks. Therefore it is important to be well theoretical prepared before interacting with partners outside their own cultural circle .
Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest problemom, jakie mogą pojawić się podczas nawiązywania kontaktów biznesowych przez przedstawicieli różnych kręgów kulturowych. Różnice kulturowe stanowią jeden z ważniejszych czynników wywołujących zakłócenia komunikacyjne. Przez różnice kulturowe rozumie się takie zmienne jak: język, różne postrzeganie czasu, dystansu fizycznego, ekspresyjność, style komunikacji i szereg innych zmiennych różniących ludzi na określonych wymiarach kulturowych. Nieumiejętne międzykulturowe komunikowanie się może skutkować szeregiem nieporozumień, a także, jeśli chodzi o komunikację biznesową, niepowodzeniem w negocjacjach lub nawet zerwaniem rozmów. Dlatego tak ważne jest dobre teoretyczne przygotowanie się przed podjęciem interakcji z kontrahentami spoza własnego kręgu kulturowego.

The reflections presented in this paper are focused on the problem of the conflict that takes places at the point of contact of two cultures during social interventions in the communities of foreigners residing in Poland. That is why three research perspectives have been presented. The first one is an analysis of the legal solutions pertaining to the acquiring of the status of a legal alien. The second aspect of the research is connected with the features of the institutional forms of social support for foreigners. In the further area the indicators of cultural differences of the investigated group have been discussed and it has been attempted to define the potential areas of conflict. The scientific exploration was aimed to specify to what extent cultural differences condition the process of the foreigners’ adaptation to a new socio-cultural reality. Furthermore, an attempt was made to answer the question whether the institutions intended to help foreigners can constitute an area of compromise. For this aim the differences between the levels of expectations represented by the administrative and social services and the foreigners themselves have been shown.

Analysis of sportsmen behavior enabled the authors to conduct simultaneous analysis of emotional expression of people from many distinct countries and cultures. In the study, participants from Nigeria and Poland watched all the goals scored in group matches of the 1998, 2002 and 2006 World Cups and assessed the emotions players expressed after scoring each goal on three scales (happiness, anger, and excitement). Based on the assessment of the participants, emotional expression of football players from 51 countries was analyzed. Basing on “Montesquieu hypothesis”, it was shown that players born in warmer climates (controlling for HDI of their country) express more excitement and happiness after scoring a goal. Further cross-cultural differences were also found. The results are discussed in context of previous cross-cultural studies regarding emotional expression.

The Occupational Depression Inventory (ODI) reflects a novel approach to job-related distress anchored in depression research. To date, the extent to which the ODI exhibits measurement invariance across countries, languages, and demographics is unclear. Measurement invariance refers to whether a measure has the same structure, or meaning, across groups of interest. Measurement invariance is thus crucial for between-group comparisons and study replicability. This study estimated the measurement invariance of the ODI across 14 countries – Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the USA – and 10 languages as well as across sexes and age groups (pooled N = 12,589). We found evidence for complete measurement invariance (configural, weak, strong, and strict) across countries, languages, sexes, and age groups. Looking into the invariance of structural parameters, we found latent variance-covariance invariance to hold across countries, languages, and sexes and to be equivocal across age groups. Expectedly, the levels of occupational depression, as indexed by latent means, varied within the four categories. Our results indicate that the ODI behaves similarly across countries, languages, sexes, and age groups. Our findings support the use of the ODI with respondents having different cultural backgrounds and individual characteristics.

European mobility programmes have been seen as a promising method to promote European identity, particularly with a focus on young generations. In this article, I discussed the constructing role of the Erasmus exchange programme by employing the result of direct crosscultural interaction. Data from Eurobarometer surveys and outcomes concluded from the semistructured interviews revealed that socialising with other Europeans strengthened European identity but contact with the host country remained limited. Diff erent from other studies, this paper also reveals that the national identity of the participants precisely empower as a result of coaction. Furthermore, for the fi rst time in the literature, semi-structured interviews unveiled that cultural differences such as stereotypes and prejudices have no negative eff ect in promoting European identity among students. Rather, it generates a positive impact for the awareness of national identity.

This article deals with the peculiarities of the concept lacuna from the perspective of theoretical considerations. Based on theoretical studies of lacunarity, the author discusses issues related to the phenomenon of linguistic and cultural lacunae, including their sources and types. She also presents the main features of linguistic lacunae and their classifications, and analyses factors which have an impact on the emergence of lacunary phraseological units and their functioning. The study outlines the criteria of lacunarity and a method for identifying phraseological lacunae. It also considers the status of the lacuna and its functioning in areal phraseology, and examines the possibility of applying the theory of lacunarity to the areal phraseological system of the Ukrainian continuum. The study is focused on etymological analysis of phraseological lacunae and their origins. Lacunae are known to constitute a semantic vacuum which functions in the modes of language, speech and speech behaviour. As demonstrated, overcoming the problems of linguistic continuum requires the knowledge not only of the direct (primary) meaning of words and phrases, but also of their place and functions in a given sociocultural community where they are used, and where dialect is the actual means of communication. The article also identifies the main dimensions of the phraseological system in focus: the themes of the meanings of phraseological units, the nature of their figurative basis, and the way these two aspects are interrelated.
W artykule omówiono specyfikę pojęcia lakuna (luka) z punktu widzenia podejmowanych na jego temat rozważań teoretycznych. W oparciu o prace teoretyczne poświęcone lakunarności autorka omawia rozmaite aspekty zjawiska luk językowych i kulturowych, ich źródła i typy. Artykuł uwzględnia główne cechy i istniejące klasyfikacje luk językowych, a także poddaje analizie czynniki wpływające na pojawianie się i funkcjonowanie luk frazeologicznych. Określono w nim ponadto kryteria lakunarności i metodę wykrywania luk frazeologicznych. Scharakteryzowano miejsce luki i jej funkcjonowanie w arealnych związkach frazeologicznych oraz możliwość zastosowania teorii lakunarności w badaniach nad arealnym systemem frazeologicznym ukraińskiego continuum. Szczególną uwagę zwraca autorka na etymologiczną analizę luk frazeologicznych i na przyczyny ich występowania. Jak wiadomo, luki są semantyczną próżnią, która funkcjonuje w modusach języka, mowy i zachowania językowego. Udowodniono, że przezwyciężenie problemów continuum językowego wymaga znajomości nie tylko bezpośredniego znaczenia słów i zwrotów, ale także ich miejsca i roli w danej wspólnocie społeczno-kulturowej, w której gwara jest rzeczywistym środkiem komunikacji. W artykule ponadto określono podstawowe wymiary omawianego systemu frazeologicznego, a więc tematykę znaczeń frazeologizmów, charakter ich podstawy figuratywnej i sposób, w jaki te wymiary są ze sobą powiązane.
