Opis:: The author presents the beginnings and development of the Department of Polish Didactics (Chair of Linguistic Didactics and Polish Literature) which has been functioning for 60 years. She describes the development of language and literature didactics as separate scientific disciplines. She draws attention to the dynamic activity of Mitera-Dobrowolska, who had a special contribution not only to the formation of the later Chair, but also to the development of many generations of teachers of Polish and subject methodologies.

Opis:: W artykule rozważany jest problem możliwości porządkowania w dydaktyce akademickiej podejść do procesu kształcenia przy użyciu kategorii „paradygmatu” zaproponowanej przez T.S. Kuhna. Autorka stoi na stanowisku, iż nauki społeczne, w tym pedagogika, są naukami wieloparadygmatycznymi, w których współwystępowanie wielu szkół myślenia, podejść teoretycznych i metodologicznych, prądów oraz myśli przybiera postać akceptowalnych w środowisku naukowym dróg rozwiązywania, objaśniania i interpretowania problemów. Artykuł przedstawia analizę wybranych podejść porządkowania teorii dydaktycznych, w których możliwe stało się zastosowanie kategorii paradygmatu, od spolaryzowanych, dwubiegunowych propozycji do możliwości kreślenia map paradygmatycznych. Na tym tle autorka przedstawia swoją mapę paradygmatów w dydaktyce akademickiej.
This papers concerns the question of whether approaches to the educational process can be arranged in the academic didactics by T.S. Kuhn’s category of “paradigm”. The author suggests that social sciences, including educational science, are multiparadigm sciences where concurrent existence of many schools of thought, theoretical and methodological approaches, as well as trends and ideas appears in the form of acceptable across the scientific environment methods of problem solving, explaining and interpreting. This paper presents the study on the selected approaches to didactical theories arrangement which allowed to apply the category of paradigm – from bipolar suggestions to the ability of paradigm-based discipline mapping. Based on the foregoing the map of paradigms in the academic didactics is displayed.

Opis:: Didactics as the science of teaching and learning clarifies certain dependencies between teachers and students’ activities. Content, methods, forms and means, working conditions and results of teaching are viewed in the paper. The article shows, that to effectively implement the teaching process, the knowledge of the general laws of teaching and learning is not enough. Experienced person in action needs both - a general understanding of educational processes and the knowledge of the concrete and specific features of teaching of individual subjects, which is discussed in the paper.

Opis:: The article discusses the results of studies on values declared by high school graduates. The survey was conducted in September 2017 in two high schools in Rzeszów. 130 respondents were asked to point out 3 of the most treasured positive values and 3 of the most undesirable anti-values. The high school graduates were also asked what they expected from their Polish teachers who discover the world of values with them. The analysis of students’ answers indicates that high school graduates appreciate the most the following values: love, family, friendship. By contrast, they consider hatred, falsehood, disease and egotism to be the most unwanted anti-values. In the respondents’ view it is worth discussing thoroughly and delving into the meaning of notions such as: erotic love, friendship, freedom or hatred.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to answer the question: what can non-economic universities do to improve their curricula for economic modules and methods of implementation? Literature review, participant observation and descriptive statistics were used based on an original set of 430 projects from the ‘Marketing of tourism and leisure services’ course for the academic years 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17. Adopting a student orientation as a long-term partner in the information exchange process, in line with the concept of relationship marketing, contributes to the intensification of the didactic process aimed at broadening knowledge of economic reality.
