Opis:: Monika Świerkosz reviews the performance Rewolucja, której nie było (A Revolution That Was Not There), produced by Teatr 21 and Biennale Warszawa, directed by Justyna Sobczyk, and first performed on 7 Dec 2018 at Teatr Soho. The author points out that even though the performance was inspired by the 40-day-long protest staged by parents of persons with disabilities, it is more than a journalistic commentary on these events. Świerkosz describes the performance, emphasizing its political aspect. The author mentions specific dramaturgical, aesthetic and formal strategies which make A Revolution That Was Not There a space for the voices of Teatr 21’s actors. Finally, the author writes that the performance is a clear signal that the revolution has not ended, that it is still on, even though it’s far from the corridors of the Polish parliament.

Opis:: Celem tejże pracy jest ukazanie narracji tworzonych w środkach masowego przekazu dotyczących osób z niepełnosprawnościami oraz przedstawienie zmian, które nastąpiły w sposobach tworzenia tych narracji na przestrzeni lat. W pracy zaprezentowano metody kształtowania wizerunku osób z niepełnosprawnościami w mediach tradycyjnych oraz w nowych mediach. Niniejsza praca jest próbą zwrócenia uwagi na niebagatelną rolę Wojciecha Sawickiego, którego działalność prowadzi do przełamywania stereotypów dotyczących środowiska OzN (osób z niepełnosprawnościami). Analizie zostały poddane treści zamieszczane przez twórcę projektu „Life On Wheelz” w takich serwisach społecznościowych, jak: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Patronite. Dodatkowo zaobserwowano i wykazano wpływ aktywności Wojciecha Sawickiego na zmianę tworzenia narracji odnoszących się do OzN w mediach masowych.
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to show the narratives created in the mass media about people with disabilities and to present the changes that have occurred in the ways in which these narratives have been created over the years. This study presents methods of shaping the image of people with disabilities in traditional media as well as in new media. This thesis is an attempt to draw attention to the not insignificant role of Wojciech Sawicki, whose activities lead to the overcoming of stereotypes concerning the environment of people with disabilities. The content posted by the creator of the 'Life On Wheelz' project on social media sites such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Patronite was analysed. Furthermore, the impact of Wojciech Sawicki's activity on changing the creation of narratives relating to people with disabilities in traditional media was observed and demonstrated.

Mniej znana jest darmowa usługa firmy Google pod nazwą Google Trends, która pozwala na zbadanie popularności słów kluczowych (haseł, fraz), a ściślej – pokazuje trendy w określonym czasie oraz na określonym obszarze. W artykule zostały przedstawione różne sposoby wykorzystania Google Trends przez naukowców badających zjawisko niepełnosprawności, m.in. socjologów, psychologów, pedagogów specjalnych czy polityków społecznych. Sposoby te związane są nie tylko z obserwacją trendów, ale też badaniem cykliczności zjawisk, kontekstów, w jakich pojawiają się określone pojęcia oraz zmian w języku, którym opisuje się niepełnosprawność.
Each day, the Google search engine is used to perform millions of searches by users around the world looking for relevant information. A lesser known service by Google is Google Trends, which allows to examine the popularity of certain keywords, or more precisely - shows trends at a specific time and in a specific area regarding the given word. The article presents various methods in which Google Trends can be incorporated to study the phenomenon of disability by researchers, including sociologists, psychologists, special education workers or welfare politicians. These methods do not only concern observing trends, but also studying the cyclical nature of phenomena, contexts in which specific concepts appear, and changes in the language that describes various disabilities.

Przeanalizowano programy studiów na kierunkach kształcenia bibliotekarzy we wszystkich ośrodkach w Polsce, pod względem treści związanych z obsługą osób z niepełnosprawnościami
The elimination of architectural obstacles and adaptation of the interiors appear as insufficient measures for the people with disabilities in Poland. County libraries are equipped with computers and other materials meant to facilitate their contact with people with disabilities, but those aids are not always utilized to their full potential. The preliminary study looks at the county libraries in the Metropolitan Association of Upper Silesia and Dąbrowa Basin in terms of their inclusivity with regard to people with disabilities. Moreover, the study analyzes Library Studies curricula across the universities in Poland, paying particular attention to the issues connected with serving people with disabilities.

Opis:: Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie sytuacji studiujących osób niepełnosprawnych oraz tego, w jaki sposób postrzegana jest ta grupa studentów przez ich rówieśników na Uniwersytecie Rzeszowskim. Aby tego dokonać, niezbędne jest wyjaśnienie i przeanalizowanie pojęcia niepełnosprawność. Pokazane jest także historyczne odniesienie do tego terminu, by na końcu móc stwierdzić, że osoba niepełnosprawna to nie tylko jednostka chora, ale przede wszystkim wartościowy członek całej naszej społeczności. Następnym krokiem jest przedstawienie danych z kilku poprzednich lat dotyczących liczby studiujących osób niepełnosprawnych na uniwersytetach w całej Polsce. Jak wynika z zebranych danych, co roku przybywa ich coraz więcej, a to dlatego, że dzisiejsze uczelnie wyższe są bardziej przyjazne grupie osób z niepełnosprawnością, głównie przez skuteczne próby likwidowania barier architektonicznych. W trzeciej części opisujemy wyniki ankiety przeprowadzonej wśród studentów Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego i analizujemy otrzymane wyniki. W podsumowaniu formułujemy wnioski znaczące dla teorii i praktyki edukacyjnej.
The aim of this article is to present the situation of students with disabilities and how thisgroup of students is perceived by their peers at the University of Rzeszów. In order to do this, it isnecessary to clarify and analyze the concept of disability. There is also a historical reference to thisterm in order to conclude that a person with a disability is not only a disabled person, but above alla valuable member of our entire community. The next aim and step of this research paper is topresent the data from the previous years concerning the number of students with disabilities studying at universities all over Poland. According to the collected data, every year there are more andmore of them, because today's universities are more friendly to a group of people with disabilities,mainly due to effective attempts to eliminate architectural barriers. The third part of this articlepresents and describes the results of the survey conducted among students of the University ofRzeszów and the analysis of the obtained results. In summary, we formulate conclusions that aresignificant for the theory and practice of education.

Opis:: The article analyses the process of workshops and the staging of the performance Room of absentees (Pokój nieobecnych) directed by Joanna Pawlik within the framework of Cricoteka otwarta in collaboration with people (artists and non-artists) with and without disabilities. The article is based on the author’s participant observation. She analyses it in relation to many theories, such as participatory art, devised theatre, disability studies, art by artists with disabilities, art therapy, and crip time. The author shows how the same working conditions affect differently people with different bodies or senses, and how the rules have to be changed in the process to accommodate different needs. The relationship between the institutional framework and the status of the artist is also one of the topics. The article ends with a call for establishing an institution where Joanna Pawlik could work with her team on a regular basis rather than from project to project.
