Opis:: In article the mathematical description of diesel engines of machine tractor units of different function in researches of their dynamics is stated by working out of new technics. In article methodical positions of modeling of diesel engines in various problems of dynamics of tractor units are considered. Developed variants of mathematical descriptions of the diesel engine are presented, and the variant choice is defined by problems of concrete research of dynamics of the machine tractor unit.
В статье изложено математическое описание дизельных двигателей машинных тракторных агрегатов различного назначения в исследованиях их динамики при разработке новой техники. В статье рассмотрены методические положения моделирования дизельных двигателей в различных задачах динамики тракторных агрегатов. В публикации представлены разработанные варианты математических описаний дизельного двигателя. Выбор варианта определяется задачами конкретного исследования динамики машинного тракторного агрегата.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest prezentacja odpowiednio zestawionych tablic danych przestrzennych oraz sposobu ich wykorzystania w badaniach przestrzenno- -strukturalnych i funkcjonalnych. Badania dynamiczne i strukturalne nawiązują do tego, co jest istotą rzeczywistości, w jakiej żyjemy, cechującej się zmiennością zdarzeń i procesów w czasie i przestrzeni. Zebrane, niekiedy z trudem, informacje liczbowe nie zawsze są optymalnie wykorzystywane w badaniu coraz bardziej złożonej rzeczywistości. Uporządkowane w tablicach dane stanowią punkt wyjścia do prowadzenia badań dynamiczno-strukturalnych przy wykorzystaniu znanych metod analizy statystycznej. W opracowaniu przedstawiono trzy rodzaje tablic (macierzy) danych: strukturalne (jedno- i wielocechowe), funkcjonalne i relacyjne (interakcyjne). Omówiono ich zastosowanie oraz wskazano podstawowe, możliwe do wykonania procedury obliczeniowe.
The article attempts to present a set of spatial data in appropriate tables with the ways they might be used in both spatial and structural research as well as in functional one. Dynamic and structural research allows for investigating a constantly changing reality. Collected numerical information is often ineffectively used in the research in a more complex reality. Organising collected spatial data in such tables makes it possible to apply various kinds of quantitative methods for the analyses. The article also presents certain principles of variable selection allowing not only for correct application of specific statistical methods, but also for the achievement of reliable results. Uni- and multivariate structural tables, functional tables and relational ones (interactive) are presented in the article, indicating simultaneously operations that can be carried out on the data collected in these tables with specific methods of quantitative analysis.

Opis:: The results of the experimental research on the influence of the special vehicle movement conditions on the body shell and the vehicle crew dynamic load will be presented in the paper. ROSOMAK Wheeled Armoured Personnel Carrier (Wheeled APC), the basic version, was the subject of the research. The research work was aimed at analysis of the dynamic loads resulting from the deterministic inputs and driving on the selected types of surfaces generating random kinematic inputs. The personnel carrier service conditions, measuring apparatus, and testing methods will be described. The vertical accelerations of the selected points of the vehicle, and deflection of the prime and second suspension of the vehicle left side were measured. The time and the acceleration RMS value spectrum charts for the selected implementations will be presented. The cumulative statistics will be shown in the form of a table. The conclusions regarding the influence of the road surface on the personnel carrier driver's working comfort will be formulated. The assessment of the suspension quality will be included in the conclusions. Driving on the smooth surface is comfortable. However, the road surface worsening causes decreased proficiency sense until the exposure limit boundary is reached when the vehicle drives on a poor quality cobble road with 50 km/h speed. The vehicle basic version is not fitted with the seats for assault troops, therefore the influence of the road irregularities on the centre of mass of the body shell, and the driver's and commander's seats were determined. It is recommended to make further tests on the personnel carrier combat and special versions.

Opis:: Hydrodynamic bearings are commonly used in ship propulsion systems. Typically, they are calculated using numerical or experimental methods. This paper presents an experimental study through which it has been possible to estimate 24 dynamic coefficients of two hydrodynamic slide bearings operating under nonlinear conditions. During the investigation, bearing mass coefficients are identified by means of a newly developed algorithm. An impact hammer was used to excite vibration of the shaft. The approximation by means of the least squares method was applied to determine bearing dynamic coefficients. Based on the performed research, the four (i.e. two main and two crosscoupled) coefficients of stiffness, damping and mass for each bearing were obtained. The mass coefficients add up to the complex shaft weight. These values are not required for modeling dynamics of the machine because the rotor mass is usually known, however, they may serve as a good indicator to validate the correctness of the stiffness and damping coefficients determined. Additionally, the experimental research procedure was described. The signals of displacements in the bearings and the excitation forces used for determination of the bearing dynamic coefficients were shown. The study discussed in this article is about a rotor supported by two hydrodynamic bearings operating in a nonlinear manner. On the basis of computations, the results of bearing dynamic coefficients were presented for a selected speed.

Opis:: The section of the paper on simulation studies presents the application of fractional calculus to describe the dynamics of pneumatic systems. In the construction of mathematical models of the analysed dynamic systems, the Riemann-Liouville definition of differ-integral of non-integer order was used. For the analysed model, transfer function of integer and non-integer order was determined. Functions describing characteristics in time and frequency domains were determined, whereas the characteristics of the analysed systems were obtained by means of computer simulation. MATLAB were used for the simulation research. The section of the paper on laboratory research presents the results of the laboratory tests of the injection system of the internal combustion engine with special attention to the verification of simulated tests of selected pneumatic systems described with the use of fractional calculus.

Opis:: Kolumny kamienne formowane metodą wymiany dynamicznej to jedna z wielu metod geoinżynierii, szeroko stosowana do wzmacniania gruntów spoistych i/lub organicznych, pod obiektami liniowymi i kubaturowymi. Polega ona na wbijaniu w słabe podłoże kruszywa z użyciem udarów o dużej energii, w określonej siatce punktów. Z pozoru prosta technologia, w praktyce może sprawiać pewne trudności. Powodem tego może być przyjęcie nieodpowiedniej energii uderzenia podczas wzmacniania podłoża, co rzutuje na średnicę i długość uzyskanych kolumn. W skrajnych przypadkach może dochodzić do całkowitej wymiany gruntu, bądź wykonania kolumn za krótkich. Powyższe przesłanki skłoniły Autorów referatu do wykonania szeregu badań, w skali laboratoryjnej, których celem było określenie wpływu energii uderzenia na kształt uzyskiwanych kolumn. Badania przeprowadzono na stanowisku badawczym, które umożliwiało obserwację procesu formowania kolumny wbijanej. Jego wymiary dostosowano tak, aby zagadnienie rzeczywiste zamodelować w skali geometrycznej 1:10. Dla zaobserwowania procesów zachodzących podczas wbijania cały proces filmowano i fotografowano. Przeanalizowano trzy warianty wzmocnienia a mianowicie: przy względnie stałej lecz niedużej (kolumna nr 2), stałej i maksymalnej w prowadzonych badaniach (kolumna nr 3) oraz stopniowo narastającej (kolumna nr 1) energii. Uzyskano różne pod względem kształtu kolumny. Całość poprzedzono krótką informacją na temat wymiany dynamicznej.
Driven stone columns formed with the use of dynamic replacement method is one of many geoengineering methods, widely used to strengthen the cohesive and/or organic soils under the linear and cubature objects. It is based on ramming of the aggregate into weak soil using drops of high energy in the specified grid of points. Despite apparent simplicity, the method may pose some problems in practice. They may be caused by inadequate choice of the drop energy during the soil reinforcement which influences the diameter and the length of the columns. In extreme cases the columns may be too short or there may appear a total soil replacement. For these reasons the authors of the paper decided to carry out a series of laboratory tests which aimed at determining the influence of the drop energy on the shape of the columns. The research was carried out on the test stand that allowed the observation of the formation process of a rammed column. Its dimensions were adjusted so as to reflect the real dimensions in scale 1:10. In order to carry out the observations of the processes intervening during the rammed column formation the experiments were filmed and photographed. Three following variations of reinforcement were analysed: by using a relatively constant but low (column No. 2), constant and maximal in the carried research (column No. 3) and gradually increasing (column No. 1) energy. The obtained columns differed in shape. The whole is preceded by a short information about the dynamic replacement method.

Opis:: The article presents a specificity of dynamic research based on panel studies. On the basis of chosen examples, including long-term Polish nationwide research, the field of panel studies application as well as difficulties in the implementation of the studies were indicated. The main purpose of this publication was to present some aspects of methodical research tools of panel study projects, that are conducted both by individual researchers and research teams. Basing on examples, panel studies diversified in terms of scope, measurement techniques, sampling and problem assumptions, were presented. The article starts with the research conducted by Ryszard Borowicz at the turn of the sixties and seventies, that includes one typical study cycle of Nicolaus Copernicus University – the research coveres the whole education cycle. Then, the article describes Polish Panel Survey POLPAN research that has been conducted since the end of the eighties. Besides determining individual trajectory of Polish fortunes, the research introduces innovative approach to social structure in a dynamic perspective. The Social Diagnosis panel studies project, of which the first round of studies was held in 2000, was in turn presented in this article with a special emphasis on defining and sampling methods, as well as mechanisms of dealing with the sample’s “mortality”. The last example included in the article, presents the research conducted by Zielonogórski Center (Ośrodek Zielonogórski), in which the panel studies method is particularly applied to the field of pedagogical studies. The comparison of such different projects, in particular studies from the seventies and contemporary studies, allowed to indicate several points differentiating research tools, and in addition, opportunities that are created by using modern technologies in the area of data collection, reaching respondents and dissemination of study results.

Opis:: One of the methods of scalarization of a multi-criteria problem is the application of a quasi-hierarchy, determined by the decision maker. In discrete problems, to apply this method it is necessary to have an algorithm which generates the optimal solution and the consecutive solutions, contained within the tolerance interval determined by the decision maker. This paper presents algorithms generating the consecutive realizations for a multi-stage deterministic decision-making process as well as an algorithm generating the consecutive strategies for a multi-stage stochastic decision- making process. Algorithms using these solutions in a multi-criteria quasi-hierarchical process are also proposed.
