Opis:: Celem artykułu jest rozpoznanie uwarunkowań zmiany podejścia w orientacji na rozwój szkoły i procesy uczenia się oraz wprowadzanych interwencji politycznych zmieniających oblicze singapurskich szkół. Przyjmowane w systemie szkolnym koncepcje i rozwiązania stanowią o edukacyjnym sukcesie tego kraju. Analizowane w artykule reformy i interwencje polityczne pozwalają lepiej zrozumieć politykę edukacyjną i skuteczne wdrożenia ukierunkowane na procesy uczenia się jako warunek szybkiego reagowania szkół na zmiany. Wnioski przedstawione w artykule opierają się głównie na przeglądzie literatury przedmiotu, podejmowanych przez badaczy badaniach i analizie dokumentów źródłowych.
The aim of the article is to identify the determinants of changes in the school development approach and learning processes. Another scientific goal is to show that the introduced political interventions have changed the Singaporean schools. The concepts and solutions, which were adopted in the school system, determine the educational success of this country. I would like to present the reforms and political interventions which contribute to a better understanding of educational policy. The effective implementations of reforms focused on learning processes and on conditions of schools to react quickly to educational changes. The results presented in the article are mainly based on the literature review or research, undertaken by researchers, or analysis of source documents.

Opis:: This qualitative phenomenological study was conducted to determine the school administrators’ time management strategies and how they helped them have effective school administration. The researchers interviewed school administrators of selected elementary schools in the Western Philippines. The study results disclosed that school administrators developed time management strategies such as delegation of authorities, setting clear priorities, managing distraction, making written plans, and setting time tables. These time management strategies were focused on the administrative supervision of the school administrators. These time management strategies could make the school operation smooth and easy and help them accomplish the administrators’ tasks efficiently.

Opis:: Year 2008 was a dramatic turning point in Israel concerning the professional development of school principals. This shift is reflected in the conception of the principal as an „instructional leader”, thus Israel has formally adopted the integrative approach to principal development that emphasizes principal’s work in the post-modern era alongside the development of individual „managerial identity”; and the reflective abilities to strengthen implicit knowledge. The professional development of novice principals provides a significant touchstone in the examination of the new training program that has been underway for the tenth year. This program assisting novice principal through two central mechanisms: peer support and personal guidance provided by veteran and retired principals. Key data from the evaluation of the training program for the novice principals in the Northern District will be presented. The main challenges of the current training program will be discussed, with questions to consider changes to increase the impact of personal guidance on the managerial capabilities of novice school principals.

Opis:: Following the tendencies showed in international documents we have given the disabled people in Poland access to open education. These activities are done in agreement with the ideas which have been promoted by special pedagogy for years, that is: the normalization and improvement of the quality of disabled people’s lives. The changes were started by the Regulation of the Ministry of National Education of October 4, 1993 which opened up integrated education in mainstream schools classes to disabled students. Another regulation, introduced on February 15, 1999, implemented the educational reform which gave every child regardless of the type or degree of disability the right to education in mainstream schools and which made schools responsible for facilitating it. Since that time the literature on special pedagogy has taken more and more interest in the notion of inclusive education. The researchers of this phenomenon keep asking the same question: ‘To what extent will the mentally disabled be able to adapt to learning conditions – learning in an ordinary class in a mainstream school? What kind of problems might they face?

Opis:: The professionalism and competence of quality teaching practice in higher education institutions is becoming more significant since they try to respond to an increasingly diverse and perceptive student commu-nity’s issues concerning standards and quality in the global context. In the past several decades there are growing appeals for innovative re-search-based pedagogy that designs relationship-centred education as well as provides cutting edge professional development of the 21st cen-tury educators. The aim of our research is to further extend current knowledge of “student engagement” as a core aim of the NUS paradigm for the future of Ukraine’s higher education. The research has provided evidence for embedded sustainable partnership in the NUS that will sus-tain a strong sense of community among teachers and students. The key to achieving the development of such partnership learning communities are traced in NUS formula and its nine key elements are seen to encour-age their development. In order to identify and build a conceptual model for PoP in the NUS, the author of the given research attempted to map the territory of the primary school. The paper has led us to conclude the PoP, in our opinion, provides an opportunity to provide conditions for the development of the student’s creative personality, the implementa-tion of the tasks of the concept of the NUS, the creation of positive moti-vation of students for educational and cognitive activities, the need for self-knowledge, self-realization and self-improvement, the introduction of a modern approach to constructing a lesson, creating optimal condi-tions for developing the student’s creative abilities at lessons, developing social and civic competencies of the student.

Opis:: W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań autora dotyczących komunikacji interpersonalnej w szkole, a zwłaszcza form komunikowania się, barier występujących w komunikacji oraz korzyści płynących z efektywnej komunikacji. Zaprezentowano kilka argumentów mówiących o tym, że efektywna komunikacja przynosi wiele korzyści. Badanie wykazało, że efektywna komunikacja społeczna w szkole odgrywa ważną rolę i pozytywnie wpływa na funkcjonowanie placówki i relacje między wszystkimi podmiotami związanymi ze szkołą.
This thesis presents the results of the author's research about interpersonal communication at school, especially forms of communication, communication barriers and benefits of effective communication. Several arguments were presented that effective communication brings many benefits. The study showed that effective social communication at school plays an important role and has a positive impact on the functioning of the facility and the relationship between all school-related entities.
