Opis:: Knowledge of the behavior of the electorate has both its social context, as well as economic. It identifies the social interaction on the behavior of politicians and the effects of their management, moreover reveals the motivations and determines of political sensitivity, the degree of social disapproval and indifference. Rationalize the cost of election campaigns, influences the electoral strategies and the consequent publicity and promotion mechanisms. It also affects the way services are involved in the electoral processes of individuals and businesses. It has a number of theoretical ways of using its wide but especially a practical context. The municipal elections which are the subject of growing interest are identified in the broader electoral context, the connection with other acts of election: elections to the parliament, the European Union and in the end of the presidential elections. The media of social life more and more influence on the behavior of voters, receiving daily spectacle of self-presentation, permanent verbalization of ideas and references to public opinion polls. Voter is willed or not to participate. This causes the increasing consistency of its behavior in the different types of elections.

Opis:: This part of the report describes two problems, which were included in both questionnaires from 2010 and 2011. First issue asks about the time, when the voter made his decision for which political option he would vote for. Second problem concerns about factors, which determines for which candidate, he would choose. In 2010 we research this problem in reference to Local election. This time our questions refers to candidates in elections to Sejm and Senate. We wanted to verify the trends we observed in Local and Presidential elections in Parliamentary election. Obtained data in great part confirms conclusions from previous researches. Once again it turned out that majority voters was sure of their political preferences long before the voting, so they weren’t susceptible to electioneering. Another observation, which was confirm by the researches made in the end of 2011, relates to limited effectiveness of electioneering on voter. Our researches don’t show any greater differences in factors, by which voter made his decision for which candidate he vote for in Parliamentary election.

Opis:: Civil political competency, but especially public trust are the basis of development of the civil society. Level of civil political competency also influence the electoral behaviour. In a research made in the end of 2014 we asked about Polish people civil political competency and about chosen reasons when taking electoral decisions. The group who declares an absence in the election or not taking big care about their electoral decisions and also have lack of skills to determine on which place on the left-right line they are, give evidence of a very low level of civil political competencies. Less important for them are programs and future plans presented by the politicians and political parties and also how they realize them (or not). When taking an electoral decision on the local level, this group take a lesser degree of care then other voters about the local elections candidates (for mayors, council member etc.) memberships to the political parties.

Opis:: The purpose of this paper is to answer the question whether the following can incur civil liability for damage caused by an unlawful act or omission committed by members of circuit electoral commissions: Is it the State Treasury or a local government unit or another legal person exercising public authority under the law? In my opinion it is necessary to verify the hypothesis whether the activity of members of circuit electoral commissions constitutes exercise of public authority. Moreover: Is the manner of appointing their members, their qualifications and competences important for qualifying them in this category? This paper examines the case law of the Supreme Court and common courts of various instances, starting from 2013. This date is justified by the expiry of the relevant deadline since the entry into force of the Electoral Code, which would make it possible to identify matters that are subject to my considerations. I believe the activities of circuit electoral commissions can be said to have a special character because the credibility of the voting process and the determination of its results depend on their work.

Opis:: Tematem pracy magisterskiej jest Kampania Prezydencka w Stanach Zjednoczonych w 2016 roku. Praca opiera się głównie na analizie kampanii prezydenckiej. Poruszone przez autorkę zagadnienia to system polityczny USA, instytucja wyboru prezydenta, prowadzenie kampanii wyborczej a także marketing polityczny i jego metody. W pracy posłużono się metodą obserwacyjną, metodą indywidualnych przypadków, metodą statystyczną oraz metodą sondażu diagnostycznego. Celem pracy była analiza amerykańskiej kampanii prezydenckiej z 2016 roku oraz wysunięcie możliwie najobiektywniejszych wniosków. Pierwszy rozdział pracy bazuje na opisie systemu wyboru prezydenta w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Ta część pracy, opiera się głównie na wprowadzeniu historycznym oraz wyjaśnieniu kilku podstawowych kwestii terminologicznych, niezbędnych do kompleksowego opisu tematu. W rozdziale znajdują się objaśnienia dotyczące kwestii tzw. stanów wahających, konstytucyjnych uwarunkowań systemu wyborczego oraz rozważania na temat możliwości zmiany systemu. Kolejny rozdział opisuje przebieg kampanii prezydenckiej. Opisane aspekty to m.in. marketing polityczny, jego metody i narzędzia, użyte przez sztab Donalda Trumpa i Hillary Clinton. Rozdział ten skupia się na aspekcie nominacji partyjnych, wizerunku kandydatów oraz pozyskiwania głosów elektoratu. Ostatnia część tego rozdziału to analiza programów wyborczych i kwestii funduszy przeznaczonych na kampanię. Ostatni rozdział w całości dotyczy obecnego prezydenta Donalda Trumpa. Początek jest analizą wyników wyborów i opisem Gabinetu Prezydenta Trumpa. Kolejna część jest analizą i weryfikacją działań, które podjął podczas pierwszych 100 dni swojej prezydentury. W ostatniej części rozdziału autorka przeanalizowała dotychczasowe działania i plany obecneij administracji, które zostały wspomniane przez prezydenta w styczniu 2018 roku, podczas orędzia do narodu, zwanego State of the Union.Podsumowanie jest zbiorem analizy i komentarzy do przytoczonych w pracy przykładów. Autorka opisuje także te aspekty pracy, które były jej zdaniem najciekawsze. Ostatnia część jest wysunięciem wniosków oraz rozważaniem nad przyszłością prezydentury Donalda Trumpa. Z uwagi na fakt, iż opisywane w pracy wydarzenia miały miejsce stosunkowo niedawno, skutkuje to ubogą ilością źródeł naukowych. Większość drugiego i trzeciego rozdziału bazuje na bieżących informacjach i wiadomościach podanych przez media.
The subject of this Master's Dissertation is the Presidential Campaign in the United States in 2016. The thesis is based on the analysis of the presidential campaign. Issues elaborated by the author are primarily the US political system, methods and tools used during this presidential campaign as well as political marketing and its methods. Dissertation was based on the observation method, individual case method, statistical method and diagnostic survey method. The author aimed to analyze the US Presidential Campaign of 2016 to provide non-judgmental conclusions. First chapter of the thesis is based on the description of the presidential election system in the United States. This part consists of historical introduction and explanation of necessary terminology required for a comprehensive description of the topic. The chapter contains explanations regarding Swing States, constitutional core of the electoral system and consideration about changing the Electoral College . Next chapter describes the process of the presidential campaign. The aspects described in this part are: political marketing, its methods and tools that were used by Donald Trump’s and Hillary Clinton’s staff. The chapter focuses on the aspect of party nominations, the image of the candidates and methods of gaining electorate’s votes. The last part of this chapter is the analysis of political programs presented by the candidates and the issue of gaining funds for the campaign. Last chapter is mainly about president Donald Trump. Beginning consists of analysis of election results and the description of President Trump's Cabinet. Next part is the analysis and verification of Trump's actions, during his first 100 days in the office. In the last part of the chapter, the author focuses on current actions and future plans, which were mentioned by the president in January 2018, during the State of the Union. Summary is a collection of analysis and commentaries to the examples cited in the dissertation. The author also mentions those aspects of the thesis that were most interesting to her. Last part mainly focuses on considerations about the future of Donald Trump's presidency. Due to the fact that the events described in the thesis, took place relatively recently, this results in a poor number of scientific sources. Most of the second and third chapter is based on current information and news provided by the media.
