Opis:: The goal of this article is to discuss a theory of reference for hallucinatory experiences. Firstly, my paper will be concerned with the theory of perception underlying common definition of hallucination. Secondly, I will present three main theories of reference for experiences given in different kinds of altered states of consciousness. These three theories are: neuroscientific, supranaturalistic and psychoanalytical. Consecutively I will present arguments for maintaining that classical theories are examples of semiotic reductionism. In the main part of this paper I will present an anti-reductionist framework for a reference of hallucinatory experience, based on a phenomenological analysis of particular kind of experience not caused by external stimulus, that is, mystical experience. This anti-reductionistic theory will claim that a proper reference of certain kinds of altered states of consciousness is a true symbol.

Opis:: This study was done with the aim of investigating the factors affecting the selfefficacy of human resources in educational organizations. The research population, composed of all the administrators of educational units in Karaj, in the school year of 2010–2011, amounted to 750 participants. The sample included 254 subjects, selected according to stratified random sampling on the basis of Morgan’s table for determining the sample size. The data collection tool was a questionnaire prepared by the researcher himself and its validity was confirmed by 30 experts, and its reliability was calculated on the basis of Cronbach’s Alpha and was 0/86. The obtained results of data analysis reveals that there is a significant and meaningful relationship between emotional states and physical development, the use of verbal or social inducements, the use of an alternative experience, and an emphasis on successful experiences of human resources in educational organizations, and their efficacy.

Opis:: The objective of this article is to discuss social varieties of Polish and Russian employed on the labels of wine bottles. The author aims to shed light on how sensory experiences in the domains of VISION, SMELL, TASTE, and TOUCH are recast into the text. This sociolect is characterized by its unique vocabulary and phraseology. The analysis indicates that labels on wine bottles consist of transparent semantic structures, on the one hand, and professional terminology used by sommeliers and wine stewards, as well as neologisms, on the other. This professional variety of the Polish and Russian ‘wine languages’ is extensive and internally diversified.

Opis:: Teoria kontinuum doświadczeń podobnych do psychotycznych w zdrowej populacjicoraz częściej wykorzystywana jest w badaniach międzykulturowych. Celem badań byłoporównanie rozpowszechnienia i treści doświadczeń podobnych do psychotycznych w grupiestudentów polskich i rosyjskich. Przebadano 80 studentów z Polski oraz 80 studentów z RosjiSkalą Urojeń Peters i współpracowników (Peters, Joseph, Day i Garety, 2004), InwentarzemStanu i Cechy Lęku (Spielberger, Strelau, Tysarczyk i Wrześniewski, 1987) orazInwentarzem Depresji Becka (Parnowski i Jernajczyk, 1977).Badanie ujawniło istotne różnice pomiędzy Polakami i Rosjanami, jeśli chodzi o ilośći rodzaj doświadczanych przeżyć podobnych do psychotycznych. Różnice zaobserwowanotakże na wymiarach Skali PDI takich jak: zaniepokojenie, zaabsorbowanie oraz przekonanieo prawdziwości doświadczeń podobnych do psychotycznych w poszczególnych pozycjach.Polacy częściej niż Rosjanie prezentowali symptomy lękowe. Nie zaobserwowano różnicpomiędzy Polakami a Rosjanami w rozpowszechnieniu symptomów depresyjnych. Badanieujawniło powiązania pomiędzy doświadczeniami podobnymi do psychotycznych,symptomami lęku oraz depresji w obu grupach badawczych.
A continuum of psychotic experiences in a general population is popular approachused in cross-cultural research recently. The aim of study was to compare psychotic–likeexperiences, depression and anxiety in Polish and Russian group. Study was conducted inrandomly selected groups of 80 Polish and 80 Russian students. In the study were used: The21 - Item Peters et al. Delusions Inventory (PDI) (Peters, Joseph, Day and Garety, 2004),STAI Inventory (Spielberger, Strelau, Tysarczyk and Wrześniewski, 1987), BECK Inventory(Parnowski and Jernajczyk, 1977).The findings showed differences between Polish and Russians in prevalence and typeof reported psychotic – like experiences. Differences were also noted on the three dimensionsof The PDI Inventory: distress, preoccupation and conviction. Polish group more often thanthe Russian group presented anxiety symptoms. There were no differences between groups inprevalence of depressive symptoms. Study revealed an association between psychotic like–experiences and anxiety symptoms and depressive symptoms.

Opis:: This paper aims to discuss the recent trends in the regulation of telecom services regarding the diffusion of broadband. To this matter, it compares the recent international competition regulation experiences to the Brazilian scenario. Considering that the telecom sector passed through huge technological and structural transformations in the last decades (from typical voice communications to convergent services based on broadband, and from voice services monopoly to multiple services oligopoly), its regulatory framework has also changed. Lately, several countries - such as the United States, the Netherlands, Korea and Chile - have established inter and intra-platform competition regulations in order to expand the access to the new forms of communications based on broadband. In Brazil, such mechanisms are not fully explored, and the country has lots of areas in which there is no competition in broadband services (known as multimedia communication services). As a result, Brazil has one of the highest prices of broadband services and one of the lowest levels of broadband penetration. In this way and considering international success in expanding services through competition, the paper defends that such mechanisms should be reinforced in the Brazilian broadband market.

Opis:: In this article, we discuss the role of networking and collaboration in the science of bilingualism. Given the tremendous diversity of individual language experiences and the varieties of contexts and patterns in which languages are used across the globe, collaboration and networking between research laboratories are crucial to provide a comprehensive understanding of the bilingual mind. We demonstrate the role that Judy Kroll has played in initiating, establishing, and inspiring new networks and in building a strong research community. One of the many contributions Judy has made to the field of bilingualism and beyond is her tireless advocacy for the need to embrace the diversity of bilingualism and its consequences and to understand failures to replicate various effects as a means to discover the intricacies and nuances of the bilingual experience.

Opis:: This article examines some aspects of the ﬁ ction of Edward Stachura, especially those that lend to it an aura of mystery and unreality. It cannot be denied that some kind of mystical experience (usually wrapped up in borderline situations of death or extreme suffering) lies at heart of his novels and short stories, and remains the object of his unﬂ agging explorations. His fascination with the strange and elusive realms of human experiences can be traced back to his debut novel, All the Brilliance (Cała jaskrawość). It grew more intense each year to reach its climax in 1977-1979, the time he wrote a collection of short stories Self (Się) and a loose collection of philosophical musings Fabula rasa. These three books seem to be most representative for the evolution of Stachura’s attitude towards "the beyond". Moreover, they provide the best insights into Stachura’s mind, as revealed through his ﬁctional alter egos Edmund Szerucki, Michał Kątny, I-Man and Man-Nobody.

Opis:: The device under examination is a mould of a capacity of 0.5 Mg and with inner cross-section of 280×400 mm. The virtual model of the facility under investigation was made using Gambit, DesignModeler and Meshing programs. Computer simulation of the liquid steel flow and mould flux behaviour in turbulent motion conditions was done using the Ansys-Fluent® computer program. On the basis of earlier researches the volume of fluid (VOF) model was applied. Based on computer simulations carried out, steel flow and flux behaviour fields and curves of flux mould entrainment concentration were obtained. The results obtained from numerical simulation were compared with the data obtained during bloom casting under industrial conditions. Based on the obtained information on the interaction of steel with mould flux, the region was determined, in which conditions likely to favour the entrainment of slag portions into the forming bloom exist.
