Opis:: Školský experiment svojim obsahom, zameraním a uplatňovaným metodickým postupom je porovnateľný s metodikou vedeckého experimentu. Žiak/študent svojou účasťou a uskutočňovaním reálneho školského experimentu nadobúda prostredníctvom bezprostredného kontaktu s experimentálnou aparatúrou manuálnu zručnosť a získava ničím nenahraditeľnú experimentálnu skúsenosť z priameho pozorovania javov a procesov a to či už prírodovedných, technických alebo technologických. Nadobudnuté zručnosti, skúsenosti a vedomosti, ktoré získava pri príprave, uskutočňovaní a vyhodnocovaní výsledkov experimentu sú pre neho nezanedbateľným prínosom v prípade jeho ďalšieho štúdia alebo pri jeho budúcom uplatnení sa v reálnom živote. Súčasná úroveň informačno-komunikačných technológií dovoľuje modelovanie alebo simulovanie prírodovedných javov, technických a technologických procesov, teda aj reálnych experimentov v prostredí virtuálneho laboratória v ktoromkoľvek mieste na svete a prostredníctvom Internetu uskutočniť aj ich vizualizáciu na ktoromkoľvek mieste sveta. Virtuálne laboratória sa na jednej strane stávajú dôležitým a významným podporným nástrojom výučby v tradičných reálnych laboratóriách. Dovoľujú žiakom/študentom pochopiť teoretickú a experimentálnu podstatu sledovania alebo merania fyzikálnych veličín, pozorovania prírodovedných javov alebo skúmania technologických procesov. Na druhej strane však vývoj potvrdzuje, že simulácie a vzdialené reálne experimenty nie sú určené k tomu, aby nimi boli úplne nahradené reálne experimenty vo výučbe.
School experiment with its content, focus and applied methodological procedure is comparable with the methodology of scientific experiment. Pupils/students by their participation and execution of a real school experiment acquire manual skills and irreplaceable experience from direct experimental observation of scientific, engineering or technological phenomena and processes through the direct contact with the experimental apparatus. The skills, experience and knowledge obtained during the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the results of the experiment are appreciable contribution for them in their further study or in their future assertion in real life. The current level of information and communication technologies allows modelling or simulation of natural science phenomena, technical and technological processes, therefore making the real experiments and their visualization in the environment of virtual laboratories anywhere in the world via the Internet. On the one hand, virtual laboratories are becoming an important and significant supportive tool of teaching in traditional real laboratories. They allow pupils/students to understand the theoretical and experimental nature of monitoring or measuring of physical parameters, the observation of natural science phenomena or assessment of technological processes. On the other hand, the development indicates that the simulations and remote real experiments are not intended to replace real experiments in the teaching process.

Opis:: Scientific experiments which try to examine free will are faced with various critical arguments — both philosophical and methodological. In this article I will present the most important and the most interesting critical arguments attacking two the most influential experiments: Benjamin Libet experiment and John‐Dylan Haynes experiment. In the first part of the article I will consider a particular criticism of Libet paradigm, which loses its importance in context of Haynes paradigm. Next I will present critical arguments which attack both Haynes and Libet experiments (and probably all other psychophysiological experiments facing free will problem). Because of this analysis I will consider informative value of presented experiments in context of existence of free will.

Opis:: Aktívne využívanie Internetu vo vzdelávaní podnietilo a ovplyvnilo aj zriaďovanie vzdialených laboratórií s nainštalovanými reálnymi experimentmi, z ktorých po pripojení na sieť Internet a ich spustení sa stávajú vzdialené reálne experimenty. Návrh a realizácia vzdialených experimentov vo svojom vývoji bola ovplyvnená daným stupňom rozvoja informačno-komunikačných technológií a použitými systémami ovládania a riadenia sledovaného fyzikálneho javu alebo technického princípu. V príspevku je venovaná pozornosť problematike konštrukčného riešenia vzdialených experimentov z pohľadu zaužívaných prístupov a problémom, ktoré z toho vyplývajú pri ovládaní a riadení vlastného vzdialeného experimentu. Autori uvádzajú nové, doposiaľ nepoužité technického riešenie ovládania a riadenia vzdialených experimentov s použitím prvkov priemyselnej automatizácie. Porovnávajú výhody danej koncepcie riešenia oproti „starším” systémom. Možnosti novej koncepcie riešenia a výhody jej použitia, prinášajú konštruktérom vzdialených experimentov nielen ďalšiu konštrukčnú alternatívu, ale aj možnosť obohatenia technických riešení o nové, doteraz nerealizovateľné prvky.
Active use of the Internet in education has stimulated and influenced the process of establishment of remote laboratories with installed real experiments that become real remote experiments after connection to the Internet and their subsequent launching. Design and operation of remote experiments has been influenced by particular level of development in the area of informationcommunication technologies and by the systems for control and administration of the observed physical phenomenon or technical principle. In this contribution we deal with the issue of construction solution for remote experiments from the point of view of possible approaches and also with the related issues that appear when controlling and administrating one´s own remote experiment. Authors introduce new, so far unapplied technical solution for control and administration of experiments with the elements of industrial automation. They compare advantages of the abovementioned concept with so called older systems. Possibilities that are being brought by the new concept hand in hand with the advantages resulting from its deployment offer not only another construction alternative for constructers of remote experiments, but also enrichment of technical solutions with new, so far unrealizable elements.
Aktywne wykorzystanie Internetu w edukacji było impulsem do utworzenia zdalnych laboratoriów, w których możliwe jest wykonywanie rzeczywistych eksperymentów. Projektowanie i wdraŜanie zdalnych eksperymentów znajduje się pod bezpośrednim wpływem rozwoju technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych oraz systemów kontroli i zarządzania obserwowanych zjawisk fizycznych. W projektowaniu zdalnych eksperymentów duże trudności nastręcza wybór praktycznego rozwiązania ich realizacji, a takŜe sposobu kontroli i administrowania eksperymentem. Autorzy wprowadzają nowe, dotychczas niestosowane rozwiązanie techniczne słuŜące kontroli i administrowaniu eksperymentów w zakresie automatyki przemysłowej. Porównują moŜliwości nowej koncepcji z systemami wykorzystywanymi dotychczas

Opis:: V práci je navrhnutý nový koncept riešenia riadenia vzdialených reálnych experimentov (VRE). Navrhnutý koncept vychádza z využitia prvkov priemyselnej automatizácie pri konštrukcii VRE. Ich využívanie v aplikáciách konštruovania VRE, prináša oproti doteraz použitým systémom, podstatné technické a ekonomické výhody. Úspešným aplikovaním prvkov priemyselnej automatizácie v konkrétnom VRE „Merania prúdenia tekutín“, ktorý bol zostavený na Katedre techniky a informačných technológií PF UKF v Nitre, bola preukázaná vhodnosť použitej koncepcie pre navrhovanie VRE v edukácii.
A new concept of solution for controlling of remote control experiments (RCE) designed in described in the paper. The designed concept is based on the use of elements of industrial automation at the construction of the RCE. Their use in applications of design of the RCE brings substantial technical and economic benefits in comparison to previously used systems. The successful application in the educational process it has been proved a relevance of the used concept for designing of the RCE in the education by using the elements of industrial automation in the particular RCE “Measurements of fluid flow” created by the Department of Technology and Information Technology on Faculty of Education, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.

Opis:: Eksperyment rozumiany jako przejaw radykalnego nowatorstwa zrywającego z zastanymi konwencjami jest w sztuce obecny, odkąd istnieje sama sztuka, a jego przykłady można wytropić już w starożytności. Eksperyment nowoczesny odwołujący się do paradygmatu metody naukowej wiąże się z pojęciem awangardy, która podniosła go do rangi obowiązku twórcy. Obok koncepcji o charakterze utopijnym, w architekturze istnieje silny nurt poszukiwania innowacyjnych rozwiązań konkretnych problemów. Jego osiągnięcia za spraw uznanych realizacji niejednokrotnie są przenoszone do powszechnej praktyki zawodowej. Do dominujących nurtów należą projekty czerpiące z idei ekologicznych, społecznych, nowych technologii czy nawet wprost z refleksji filozoficznej skupionej na estetyce. Referując szereg własnych opracowań studialnych, autor wskazuje na pewien charakterystyczny rys tego typu prac, polegający na konceptualizacji ogólnych przemyśleń i pomysłów czerpiących inspirację z rzeczywistych sytuacji. Realne zadania projektowe są pretekstem do rozwijania idei, które mogą, choć niekoniecznie muszą, znaleźć swoje praktyczne zastosowanie w innych projektach, w innym czasie. Wspólną cechą prezentowanych prac jest ich otwartość, bezinteresowność, ograniczona funkcja lub wręcz swoista „bezużyteczność”.
Experiment, understood as a radical innovation that breaks existing conventions is present in art as long as art exists, and the many examples of it may be traced back to antiquity. The contemporary form of experiment, referring to the paradigm of a scientific method, used for searching the better solutions to problems is associated with the concept of avantgarde that has raised it to the necessary duty of creator. In architecture, there is a strong trend to search for innovations that often become common practice, due to recognized realizations. The most dominant trends nowadays include projects that draw from ecological, social concepts, new technologies and even directly from philosophy, focused on aesthetics. By referring a series of own studies, author points to a distinctive feature of this type of projects that conceptualizes the general ideas that are reflected in specific situations. Real design tasks are what the search and development of the ideas is based on. These can, but not necessarily must find their practical use in other projects. The common feature of the presented works is their openness, disinterestedness, limited functionality, or even a sort of “uselessness”, with a slightly utopian character.

Opis:: Reálny experiment v prírodovedných a technických predmetoch je ich významnou súčasťou. Umožňuje žiakovi/študentovi hlbšie pochopenie príčinných súvislostí medzi prírodovednými javmi a procesmi, ktoré sú predmetom skúmania technických odborov. Umožňuje pochopenie odvodenia teoretických vzťahov a predpovedania alebo predvídania vývoja procesov a chovania sústav za daných vnútorných a vonkajších podmienok. Vo vzdelávaní je experiment tým prostriedkom, ktorý významne pôsobí na rozvoj kreatívneho myslenia žiakov/študentov a na získavanie praktických zručností, ktoré budú potrebovať pri ich budúcom pracovnom uplatnení. Napriek tomu, že informačné technológie, ktoré v ostatných rokoch výrazne ovplyvňujú obsah, formy a prostriedky vzdelávania, reálne experimenty majú aj v súčasnosti svoje opodstatnenie vo vzdelávaní v prírodovedných a technických predmetoch.
The real experiment in the natural and technical subjects is their important part. It allows pu-pils/students a deeper understanding of the causal relationship between natural science phenomena and processes that are investigated in technical fields. It also allows to understand the derivation of theoretical relationships and predicting and anticipating the development of the process and the be-havior of the system in different internal and external conditions. In education, the experiment is such means which significantly influences the development of creative thinking of pupils/students and on gaining practical skills needed in their future job. Although the information technologies in recent years greatly influence the content and forms of education, the real experiments have currently a justified use in the education in nature science and technical subjects.

Opis:: Współczesna geografia społeczna ujmowana w perspektywie globalnej rozwija się bardzo dynamicznie jako nauka tworząca i wykorzystująca różne paradygmaty, teorie, koncepcje oraz metody badań. Jej interdyscyplinarność z jednej strony oraz złożoność współczesnych mikroświatów z drugiej nie tylko pozwala, ale wręcz zmusza badacza do wykorzystania (często triangulacyjnego) metod badań społecznych: ilościowych i jakościowych. Choćby krótki przegląd referatów zgłaszanych do czołowych konferencji anglo-amerykańskiego obszaru nauki uświadamia, że tak dzieje się w rzeczywistości. Jednak polska geografia społeczna bardzo konserwatywnie odnosi się do artykułowania nowych paradygmatów, podejść i triangulacji metod. Niejako z tych powodów autorzy opracowania proponują podjąć dyskusję nad zastosowaniem w geografii społecznej metod związanych z eksperymentem. Zasadniczą osią narracji są pytania o obszary, w których eksperyment/quasi-eksperyment w geografii społecznej może być stosowany oraz o specyfikę i jego uwarunkowania w tej dyscyplinie.
Contemporary social geography from a global perspective is developing very dynamically as a science creating and using various paradigms, theories, concepts and research methods. It interdisciplinary value on the one hand and the complexity of modern microworlds on the other not only allows, but even forces the researcher to use (often in triangulation approach) methods of social research: quantitative and qualitative. Even a brief overview of the papers submitted to leading conferences of the Anglo-American area of science reveals that this is happening in reality. However, contemporary Polish social geography conservatively refers to articulating new paradigms, approaches and triangulation methods. As a consequence of these observations, we undertook a discussion on experiment / quasi experiment. The main axis of the narrative are questions about areas in which an experiment/quasi-experiment in social geography can be used, and about the specifics and its determinants in that discipline.

Opis:: The article deals with the issue of regulation of clinical trials against the background of the Polish legal system. The starting point is the analysis of the institution of medical experimentation in the context of clinical trials on humans. The paper pays particular attention to the informed and voluntary consent of the participant in a clinical trial, taking into account the current case-law of the Supreme Court. Drafts of future legislative changes concerning clinical trials have been announced recently.
