Opis:
The paper deals with the problem of influence of scanning speed and measuring strategy on results of flatness and straightness deviations with CMMs. The straightness was studied for various numbers of sampling points and for various scanning speeds. The flatness was investigated for various measurement paths and for various levels of scanning speeds. The results of the study indicate that applied measurement speed and selected measurement path can change obtained results very significantly.

Opis:
This paper develops a precise method control system for tracking control of a power drive system based on a multi-phase machine under motor parameter and load torque variations. By adding a simple feedforward term based on the flatness theory, a conventional f lux oriented control (FOC) can be enforced to have a perfect tracking performance under model parameter and load torque variations. Hence, a hybrid flatness-based control (HFBC) technique is applied to the control of a dual star induction machine (DSIM) and compared to a classical vector control strategy regarding tracking behaviour, robustness, and perturbations rejection. Finally, the simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed HFBC under uncertainties such as motor parameter and load torque variations. Furthermore, an enhancement of the drive system’s control performances is demonstrated by the improvement of the technique of separation of the objectives of tracking and disturbance rejection. The simulation and experimental results are presented, demonstrating the superiority of the HFBC.

Opis:
In this paper the relationships between the alternative machining paths and flatness deviations of the aluminum plate part, were presented. The flatness tolerance of the main surface of the plate part has crucial meaning due to the assembly requirement of piezoelectric elements on the radiator. The aluminum bodies under investigation are the base part of the radiators with crimped feathers for the train industry. The surface of the aluminum plate part was milled using three different milling strategies: along of longer or shorter side of workpiece and at an angle of 45°. The aluminum bodies were machined on milling centre ecoMILL 70 DMG MORI. The flatness deviation measurements were carried out on the Coordinated Measuring Machine Altera 7.5.5 Nikon Metrology NV. These measurements were made during the manufacturing process of the radiator, namely after machining, however, before the process crimping of feathers. The results that were obtained enables the validation of assumed milling path strategies in connection of the subsequent machining and assembly processes.

Opis:
We propose a class of m-crane control systems that generalizes two- and three-dimensional crane systems. We prove that each representant of the described class is feedback equivalent to the second order chained form with drift. In consequence, we prove that it is differentially flat. Then we investigate its control properties and derive a control law for tracking control problem.

Opis:
This paper deals with the inverse dynamics problem of underactuated mechanical systems subjected to execute partly specified motions. The modeling methodology focuses on a special class of differentially flat systems, represented by a group of relevant technical examples. The governing equations are obtained as index three differential-algebraic equations, and a simple numerical code for their solution is reported. The solution comprises both the dynamic analysis of the underactuated systems in partly specified motion and the synthesis of control that assures realization of such motion.

Opis:
Accurate flatness measurement of silicon wafers is affected greatly by the gravity-induced deflection (GID) of the wafers, especially for large and thin wafers. The three-point-support method is a preferred method for the measurement, in which the GID uniquely determined by the positions of the supports could be calculated and subtracted. The accurate calculation of GID is affected by the initial stress of the wafer and the positioning errors of the supports. In this paper, a finite element model (FEM) including the effect of initial stress was developed to calculate GID. The influence of the initial stress of the wafer on GID calculation was investigated and verified by experiment. A systematic study of the effects of positioning errors of the support ball and the wafer on GID calculation was conducted. The results showed that the effect of the initial stress could not be neglected for ground wafers. The wafer positioning error and the circumferential error of the support were the most influential factors while the effect of the vertical positioning error was negligible in GID calculation.
