Opis:: Selected results of the qualitative research about social and individual consequences of non – typical forms of employment are presented. The research was carried out in the Lubuskie voivodship in 2011. They seem to show that the inhabitants of this province are aware of advantages and disadvantages of the flexible labour market. For some people flexible job contracts offer a chance to create self-made careers. Some people declare flexible jobs as a substitute under a lack of full-time jobs in searching for job. They understand that flexible jobs counteract unemployment and guarantee any income. However, they complain about uncertainty related the contract duration, income, and irregular work intensity. There are also opinions that when combined with a stable contract non-typical forms of employment offer opportunities to stabilize a financial situation.

Opis:: The development of flexible forms of work is one of the most discussed problems concerning the contemporary labor market. This article presents thoughts on the evolution of the concept of flexibility and its types to date. The presence of both negative and positive aspects of flexible solutions from the point of view of employers and employees is stressed. Potential applications of flexible forms of work improving relations between the professional and personal lives of workers are presented. The last section is devoted to factors impeding the introduction and use of flexible forms of work in Poland - legal regulations and a lack of awareness of organizational and time-based solutions and their methods of implementation.

Opis:: A psychological analysis of the functioning of people in the work envi- ronment has been conducted on the basis of the results of quantitative research carried out among workers employed in nine forms of flexible employment, drawing on a model of selected psychological variables, in- cluding employment choice autonomy, attribution of organizational mem- bership, form and content of psychological contract, and attitudes towards work and social skills, including personal flexibility and assertive behav- iour. Work satisfaction in flexible types of employment has also been stud- ied, along with the psychological cost associated with this type of employment.

Opis:: The technical issues described in the paper concern aspects of foundations of buried flexible steel structures. The foundations of these structures are most frequently made as traditional “rigid” structures (which is related to their massiveness - most commonly reinforced concrete), or in the form of properly profiled soil foundations (depending on the shape of the coating). Comparison of the two issues of “vulnerability”, i.e. the bearing structure and the ’’rigidity” of foundations, is the main motivation to carry out testing and conduct an analysis in this area. The problems are discussed in the paper in the context of new developments in the field of “flexible” foundations of the structures in question. Further development analyses are currently in progress , which will be practically implemented in the form of appropriate guidelines. In the authors' opinion, this will help to optimize the design of the in which the foundation of these structures.

Opis:: This paper shows important trends on the contemporary labor market in the area of forms of employment. Possibilities for the implementation of flexible forms of employment in the shipbuilding industry are demonstrated in experience gained through the EUROSTER Project, financed by the European Social Fund. The paper examines the best employment structures for use in the businesses of this industry. Professions that can be performed applying flexible forms of employment are also looked at. Research among the managerial staff of the shipbuilding industry is used to present opinions on implementation of such forms and structures. Lastly, this paper looks at problems linked with barriers to undertaking changes in forms of employment in the companies.

Opis:: Flexicurity can be specified as an integrated strategy to ensure flexibility and employment security in European labour markets. On its basis lies smooth overlapping changes to the professional life of every human being, from the end of the stage of education, the first work, by changing jobs, until retirement. The flexicurity strategy focuses on the creation of opportunities for workers to change jobs for a better, career advancement, an individual employee development, flexible organisation of working time and reconciliation of work with private and family life. An essential element is to ensure the safety of systems of social benefits. Implementation of the strategy of flexicurity is to translate into greater business competitiveness and profitability of the economy, and thus lead to a higher standard of living for citizens. In Poland it is difficult to talk about a comprehensive implementation of flexicurity, but our legal solutions allow many forms of flexible work, which can bring benefits for both employers and workers in a situation where they are put on the principle of negotiation and mutual consent of both sides.

Opis:: Flexible organisational structure is characterised by the creation of temporary teams within a basic departmental structure to solve a particular difficult task, important for the organisation and limited by time. It can be stated on its grounds that team work is the basis of innovative organisation operation. However, fact that organisations most often use individuals and not the creation of a team specialised in the given issue in solving of new, important and demanding projects and tasks sounds negative. If organisations want to create so called innovative environment, it is necessary to focus on organisational structure, while it is necessary to realise that different organisational structures are appropriate for different types of organisations. Presumption which was the basis of our analysis of organisational structure flexibility was the fact that organisational flexibility results from its ability to respond to changing conditions and new situations. Therefore, we monitored the frequency of characteristics like adaptation of organisational structure to changing conditions and delegation of operational decisions to line managers. However, the research implied that only a smaller part of organisational structures of the analysed organisations fulfils this characteristics.

Opis:: Radial drilling technology, of which the jet bit is the key device, is a research focus in the field of oil drilling and production. This paper shows mechanical equations for jet bits and analyzes the behavior of water while passing the jet bit. Were set up few important conclusions. The generation of the pulling force is mainly due to the inlet pressure of the jet bit; the backward jets can significantly increase not only the pulling force but also the stability of jet bits. The pulling force would reach 311 N while sumilation, which can steadily pull the high-pressure hose forward.

Opis:: The paper presents a comparative analysis of two types of flexible temperature sensors, made of carbon-based nanostructures composites. These sensors were fabricated by a low-cost screen-printing method, which qualifies them to large scale, portable consumer electronic products. Results of examined measurements show the possibility of application for thick film devices, especially dedicated to wearable electronics, also known as a textronics. Apart from general characterisation, the influence of technological processes on specific sensor parameters were examined, particulary the value of the temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and its stability during the device bending.
