Opis:: The article presents one of the current directions of development and optimisation of modern education – a features of each of the current generations and the use of such teaching tools that reflect and embody these features. We are talking about both the didactic and technological features of the learning process and the semantic, essential aspects of the learning process that make the learning process itself relevant, meaningful, promising for each of the generations, not formally required. The result of such an approach to optimising the learning process is to increase the effectiveness of both the learning process and the education system as a whole in each specific historical period in the development of society.

Opis:: Generational differences in societies are characteristics generally attributed to people’s age that constitute a sociocultural phenomenon. Divisions in the generations differ across nations and extend even to civilizations. Perception and recognition of the different characteristics of each generation affect the cooperation between people in social, political, and economic capacities, and subsequently extend to entities in the public, informal, commercial, and nongovernmental sectors. From the perspective of social justice, it is important to draw attention to how workplace management techniques are used to promote equal opportunities among representatives of various generations.

Opis:: The author is interested in verbal communication problems between generations - the young and the old. The opposition US vs. THEM is reflected in language and its communicative use, deepening the distance between the generations. An exclusion of children and youth typical for previous centuries is no longer true. It was replaced by a progressive cultural marginalization of old age people. The differences between the language of the young and the old are manifested on the lexical, phraseological and stylistic levels. Having enumerated the language, stylistic and communicative problems of the theoretical and methodological nature, the author presents three possibilities of inter-generation communication: (1) Each of the interactants maintains one's own way of speaking and then the communication becomes more difficult or even blocked - confrontation style. (2) Both parties present a mutual compromise tendencies if the aim of the communication act is a mutual understanding - consensual style. (3) The interactants adopt their interlocutor's style - adoptive style (chameleon style).

Opis:: The leading edge of the mass migration from Poland to the USA which began in the 1870s was comprised mostly of ethnic Poles from the German-occupied partition, but these were superseded in the following decade by arrivals from the Austrian partition, who were in turn eclipsed in the latter 1890s by immigrants from the Russian-controlled regions. To the immigrants there were specific differences in regional culture, dialect, and traditions by which they clearly separated themselves into three or more groups. Thus, one of the major challenges facing immigrants was how to create a new Polish American identity from such a diverse collection of subgroups. In particular, the paper focuses on the forms of cultural and identity transmission from generation to generation. It suggests that by emphasizing Old World customs and celebrations, i.e. by remembering Poland, but not Polonia, the immigrants have failed to create a distinctly Polonian identity independent of Poland.

Motivating employees of different generations on the example of the Bona-Med Care and Treatment Center in Cracow

Opis:: The author reviewed the literature to achieve the goal of identifying motivators andgenerational differences, as well as assigning specific motivators to each generation. In thefirst chapter, he tried to identify the motivating factors for a given generation group hasdifferent needs. In the last chapter, the author developed a questionnaire conducted in theBona-Med Care and Treatment Center in Krakow. At the end summed up whole work,detailed the conclusions and expressed his opinion on the basis of the information gathered.
Autor dokonał przeglądu literatury, aby zrealizować cel jakim jest wskazanie motywatoróworaz różnić pokoleniowych, a także przypisanie konkretnych motywatorów do każdegopokolenia. W pierwszym rozdziale postarał się wskazać funkcjonujące czynniki motywacyjnedla danej grupy pokoleniowej. W dalszej części pracy wyjaśnił dlaczego każda grupapokoleniowa ma inne potrzeby. W ostatnim rozdziale autor opracował ankietęprzeprowadzoną w Zakładzie Opiekuńczo - Leczniczym Bona-Med w Krakowie. Nazakończenie podsumował całość pracy, wyszczególnił wnioski oraz wyraził opinię napodstawie zebranych informacji.

Opis:: As the contemporary labor market is constantly changing, employees have to observe and analyze this process in order to be prepared for developing professional career. Finding own place on this market is especially challenging for young people, who are just entering it. That is why they are looking for different methods to get ready for their future professional career. There are many different options to be prepared. One of them seems to be a membership of student organization. The results of the research show that AIESEC, as an example of student organization, creates a space for future professional career development. It should be noted that student organization members realize it sometime after starting their attendance at this organization. Before joining it, they do not consider a fact of being an AIESEC member as part of future professional career development. Students develop in this organization mainly management skills, team working and leadership skills.

Its layout is designed for using it to translate the specific concepts and terminology of research into generations and intergenerational relations from one language into another.
Członkowie Międzynarodowej Sieci Relacji Międzypokoleniowych (Generationes) z dumą prezentują najnowsze wydanie wspólnie opracowanego kompendium "Pokolenia, relacje międzypokoleniowe, polityka relacji międzypokoleniowych". Nowa wersja zawiera siedem języków (angielski, francuski, niemiecki, włoski, hiszpański, polski (nowy) i portugalski (nowy)). Opis:: The article aims to present the analysis of three Polish songs that are treated in the social space as important statements by „voices of their generation”. Jacek Kaczmarski in Our Class [Nasza klasa], Zygmunt „Muniek” Staszczyk in the song This nurture [To wychowanie] and Michał „Mata” Matczak in Pathointeligency [Patointeligencja], expressing the problems of their peers, occupy a specific place towards the older generation, which is symbolized by the educational system. Using a different music genre and functioning in different socio-political realities, each of the artists also proposes a different strategy of „fighting” in a generational conflict, which ranges from (apparent) passivity, through commitment, to rebellion. The interpretation of the aforementioned cultural texts (the song is understood as a multi-code message with a solid performative potential) considers their verbal and musical content and the historical and performance context, and the dynamically changing reception. The analysis of the differences and common points of the mentioned texts is intended to capture the phenomenon of popularity of these three completely different songs, which confirm that the most fortuitous statements of specificity and generational distinctiveness in the art use the mechanism of dispute.

Opis:: This study expands on prior studies on wireless telecommunication generations by examining the technological differences and evolutional triggers that characterise each Generation (from 1G to 5G). Based on a systematic literature review approach, this study examines fifty (50) articles to enhance our understanding of wireless generation evolution. Specifically, this study analyses i) the triggers that necessitated the evolution of wireless telecommunication generations and ii) makes a case regarding why it is imperative to look beyond the fifth Generation (5G) network technologies. The authors propose areas for future research.
