Opis:
One of the fundamental aspects of the organization management is determination of appropriate strategy for the adoption of development directions and organization areas that needs improvement in the context of existing opportunities and threats based on the organization strengths. The aim of the paper is analysis of the strengths and weakness of E-Guides of European universities in the context of its applying in Erasmus+ programme. Paper is a result of scientific international cooperation of Polish Erasmus coordinator with Turkish Erasmus student.
Jednym z podstawowych aspektów zarządzania organizacją jest określenie właściwej strategii działania dla określenia kierunków rozwoju oraz określenia tych obszarów w organizacji, które wymagają doskonalenia zarówno w kontekście istniejących okazji i zagrożeń w otoczeniu, jak i atutów i słabych stron organizacji. Celem artykułu jest analiza mocnych i słabych stron przewodników elektronicznych europejskich uniwersytetów w kontekście ich wykorzystania w programie Erasmus+. Artykuł jest rezultatem międzynarodowej współpracy naukowej polskiego koordynatora programu Erasmus+ ze studentką przebywającą na stażu w ramach programu Erasmus+.

Nowa Huta is an unusual and unique place, whether seen from a historical, spatial or social perspective.[...] Therefore, this publication is in fact a guide through time and space, with the role of storytellers performed by people involved in the life of the local community - people who work for Nowa Huta on a daily basis: enthusiasts, urban activists, historians, artists, local residents, representatives of non-governmental organizations, entrepreneurs, bloggers, etc. [...]. This alternative guide tells the story of Nowa Huta, understood as the so-called five Nowa Huta boroughs of the city of Kraków: XIV Czyżyny, XV Mistrzejowice, XVI Bieńczyce, XVII Wzgórza Krzesławickie, XVIII Nowa Huta. It does not attempt to pass itself off as a comprehensive portrayal, often quite deliberately omitting aspects which already enjoy enough fame and popularity. Rather than that, it is supposed to provide a subjective look at Nowa Huta as seen by individual authors. It is with them that we wander around the eastern part of Kraków on the pages of this book, taking alternative routes, staying away from well-trodden paths and avoiding pre-existing attitudes and expectations.

As a researcher in multilingualism and multilinguality, I always await any new publications by Larissa Aronin. They not only add to our understanding and knowledge of this fascinating field, but also inspire us to look into the various dimensions not yet explored by other researchers. A truly imaginative and inspiring mind, hers has been a significant contribution to models of multiple language acquisition, the theory of affordances (Singleton & Aronin, 2007), and the material culture of multilingualism, not to forget – what I consider to be her biggest and most fascinating area of research – dominant language constellations (Aronin & Vetter, 2021; Lo Bianco & Aronin, 2020,) and also, fairly recently and still at the developmental stage, the philosophy of multilingualism (Aronin & Politis, 2015).

A geographer : a tour guide, a city guide?

Analysis of the theoretical simulation results of public examinations for candidates in the guide, as well as in city guide, which was carried out in order to assess students' knowledge of geography - potential staff at the tourist market is presented. Studies have been raised in the context held in Poland in 2013 deregulation of mentioned above professions and are in addition of group works carried out in recent years [1; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8] relating to the expectations of the tourism market in the training of personnel for queries of Tourism. In the case of students of "geography" good results at delivery of theoretical examination for a tour guide are observed compared with the students of "tourism and recreation", which allows, among other things, to predict their good theoretical preparation in the case of the labor market. Thematic units with the lowest results of the solving problems among geographers are highlighted: history of culture and art, the service of tourist traffic, as well as tourist geography of Poland. With such high results among students geographers should be considered the feasibility of graduates geographical and tourism departments with some courses, training guides candidates. As part of this study, theoretical and practical thematic blocks are implemented in undoubtedly more hours than during the course for candidates for guides. It should, however, draw attention to the fact that the approximate simulation disputable situations conducting tours on objects or statements on any given topic, auto presentation, work with a map, driving directions and designations etc. were not topics to be ignored also in geographical education program. Clear disproportion difficulty level of theoretical examination for candidates in city guides towards examination on guide is defined. Among geographers there are few people who successfully passed it on the level of single percent polled population. In connection with the new rules, which operate in Poland since January 1, 2014, in the absence of verification of knowledge trainees on the state assessment, these defects can cause humiliation of the level of preparation of personnel in the market guide.

Experiencing art described by a robotic guide – an experimental study conducted with Misty II and an audio guide

Rozwój technologii oraz chęć wykorzystania maszyn do zaspokojenia potrzeb wyższego rzędu doprowadziły do powstania nowej kategorii robotów; roboty społeczne, które mają zastąpić człowieka podczas sytuacji społecznych. Pojawiają się jednak słuszne obawy – czy na obecnym stadium rozwoju technologicznego roboty są w stanie dorównać ludziom w scenariuszach wymagających kontaktu z człowiekiem. Jednym z zawodów, które wymagają interakcji z użytkownikami jest przewodnik muzealny. Technologicznym wsparciem ludzkich przewodników jest audio guide, jednak jest to forma nieucieleśniona i nie zapewniająca interakcji. Celem badania było sprawdzenie, jak doświadczane jest dzieło sztuki opisywane przez 1) audio przewodnika, 2) robota społecznego. W badaniu został wykorzystany robot Misty II.
Technological advancement and a growing need to fulfill higher order need to be resulted in development of a new category of robots – social robots. Their goal is to replace humans in social situations. Along with the development of the term, some concerns start to appear: having considered technological development stadium we are currently in, is it safe to assume that a machine might be a match for a human? One of the professions that rely on interaction is a museum guide. Currently, human guides are supported by audio guides, but this solution lacks embodiment and thus interaction. This research aims to answer a question: how do we experience art described by a robotic guide and audio guide? Following study was conducted using Misty II robot.

Dzięki analizie badań własnych udało się udzielić odpowiedzi na postawione w pracy pytania badawcze. W pracy zostało wykorzystano 68 materiałów źródłowych.
The purpose of the work was to present the role, tasks and functions of the travel guide in servicing tourism.The goal was achieved thanks to the conducted surveys. Thanks to the analysis of own research, it was possible to answer the research questions posed at work.The work was USD 68 source materials.
