Opis:: One of the main views which appears throughout prof. Pawlak's paper is one initially expressed by Anna Zofia Krygowska, the most influential researcher of mathematics education in Poland. According to this view - the teacher and his preparation, and thus the problems of teaching mathematics, are never "ahistorical" (Krygowska, 1981, as quoted by Pawlak, 2019). In other words, the problems of mathematics education cannot be viewed outside of their historical and cultural contexts. Practically, this means that when we design our teacher training courses, we cannot, e.g., ignore the current scientifc and societal developments and especially the increased use of mobile technologies even for everyday purposes. Prof. Pawlak recognizes this issue and suggests using technology as an aid to motivate students. This brings us to the second overarching view of the paper, namely the importance of motivating students to be involved in mathematics.

Opis:: The aim of the text is to introduce BRIDGING, an international project that involves professionals working in educational institutions (kindergarten, school or crèche), academic and cultural institution from Poland, Portugal, Finland and Belgium. The project aims to improve the quality of practices in early childhood education through participation of children, teachers, cultural and academic staff in artistic projects in public spaces. Crucial part of BRIDGING is to promote various ways of communication of children and adults using the concept of citizenship in the context of holistic approach. Additionally our intention is to introduce the preliminary results of the first Polish part of the BRIDGING project research. The study was conducted to investigate how the project is perceived by kindergarten teachers. Although only the first results are presented here, it is already quite evident what the specific areas of teachers’ sense of vocational self-efficacy are. The results show that our respondents value the experiences brought to them by the project. In their opinion BRIDGING gave them an opportunity to acquire knowledge about their city, neighbourhood and the partners’ countries. They also stated that the project has improved their skills of using ICT tools and various art techniques.

Opis:: W ostatnich dwudziestu latach zmieniało się podejście do oceny przedsięwzięć techniczno-organizacyjnych, szczególnie tych, które cechują się najwyższym poziomem nowoczesności. O ile jeszcze w początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych dominowało tzw. podejście klasyczne oparte na typowych ocenach inwestycji to pojawienie się tzw. nowej ekonomii, łączącej elementy ekonomiczne, środowiskowe i społeczne, spowodowało całkowitą zmianę i od tego momentu zaczęły dominować metody kompleksowe. Szczególnie tego typu podejście okazało się przydatne do oceny nowatorskich przedsięwzięć techniczno-organizacyjnych np. z obszarów informatyki, biomedycyny, zaawansowanej chemii itp.
In last twenty years the approach to the assessment of technical-organisational projects was evaluated. It is connected especially with development of the high innovative projects. Twenty years ago dominated classical approach that based on typical methods of investment analysis. The times of new economy and economics introduced new elements connected with wide scope of aspects: economic, environmental and social. It caused huge change. Since then comprehensive methods dominate in project assessment. In particular, this approach proved to be useful for the evaluation of innovative technical and organizational projects such as in the area of computer science, biomedicine, advanced chemistry, etc.

Opis:: Zespół wad złożonych o podłożu genetycznym, jakim jest zespół Nagera, występuje niezwykle rzadko. W literaturze naukowej jest mało doniesień na temat diagnostyki i leczenia w tym zespole chorobowym. Osiągnięcie postępów leczniczych, w przypadku dziecka z zespołem Nagera, wymaga interdyscyplinarnego podejście w celu zaplanowania właściwej terapii. Z uwagi na wielorakość zaburzeń we wszystkich sferach rozwoju konieczna jest ścisła współpraca fizjoterapeuty ze specjalistami w dziedzinie neurologii, neurochirurgii, psychologii, neurologopedii. Tylko wtedy stymulacja rozwoju może przynieść wymierne efekty i będzie miała wpływ na stworzenie osobie niepełnosprawnej najlepszych warunków do rozwoju w każdym aspekcie życia. Celem pracy jest wykazanie znaczenia ścisłej współpracy fizjoterapeuty z pozostałymi specjalistami w tworzeniu planu terapii dla pacjenta z rzadko występującą chorobą genetyczną.
Complex defects syndrome with genetic origin, such as Nager syndrome, occurs extremely rare. There are only few reports on diagnostics and treatment of this syndrome in the specialist medical literature. In case of a child with Nager syndrome progress in medical treatment requires an interdisciplinary approach in order to prepare a proper therapy. Due to the multitude of disorders in all spheres of development, a close cooperation between physiotherapist and specialists in the field of neurology, neurosurgery, psychology and neurologopedics is essential. Only then can stimulation of development show measurable effects and have an impact on creation the best development conditions in every aspect of a disabled person’s life. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the importance of strict physiotherapist cooperation with other specialist in order to develop a proper treatment plan for a patient with a rare genetic disease.

Opis:: Istotną przyczyną występowania chorób lub zgonów na świecie są urazy. Urazy wielonarządowe, a także czaszkowo- mózgowe są jednymi z najczęstszych, które wymagają kompleksowej opieki pielęgniarskiej. Próba samobójcza spowodowana zaburzeniami psychiatrycznymi, której skutkiem jest uraz wielonarządowy wiąże się z koniecznością holistycznej opieki sprawowanej nad pacjentem. Celem pracy była ocena stanu bio- psycho- społecznego pacjentki, wyróżnienie diagnoz pielęgniarskich, a także zaplanowanie związanych z nimi interwencji i ocena ich rezultatów. Metody badawcze użyte w tej pracy to analiza, obserwacja oraz sondaż diagnostyczny; techniki zastosowane w pracy to między innymi analiza piśmiennictwa czy analiza dokumentacji indywidualnej przypadku pacjentki. Wśród narzędzi badawczych wykorzystanych w pracy można wyróżnić liczne artykuły naukowe, historie choroby, karty obserwacyjne czy własną dokumentację fotograficzną (za zgodą pacjentki). W niniejszej pracy postawiono dwa pytania badawcze związane z holistycznym podejściem do opieki pielęgniarskiej sprawowanej nad pacjentką po urazie wielonarządowym powstałym na skutek próby samobójczej, a także możliwościami poprawy opieki nad pacjentami hospitalizowanymi ze względu na urazy wielonarządowe ze współistniejącymi zaburzeniami psychiatrycznymi. Wyniki oraz wnioski zawarte w pracy mogę być pomocne w udoskonaleniu opieki pielęgniarskiej nad pacjentami z wyżej wymienionymi przypadłościami. Jednymi z głównych problemów pacjentki po urazie wielonarządowym jest unieruchomienie, deficyt samoopieki i samopielęgnacji, a także wykluczenie z życia społecznego. Indywidualne podejście do pacjenta, zapewnienie kompleksowej opieki pielęgniarskiej po urazie wielonarządowym oraz urazie czaszkowo- mózgowym są kluczowe by osiągnąć terapeutyczny efekt. Rezultat tej opieki jest zależny od ilości personelu, jego poziomu wiedzy, doświadczenia oraz umiejętności. Wymienione wcześniej determinanty pracy zespołu pielęgniarskiej w opiece nad pacjentami hospitalizowanymi w związku z wymienionymi urazami będą wpływać na jakość opieki, pielęgniarskiej w związku z czym należy dążyć do ich poprawy.
Injuries are a significant cause of disease or death all around the world. Polytrauma as well as craniocerebral injuries are the most common ones that will require holistic approach in nursing care. A suicide attempt caused by psychiatric disorders resulting in multi-organ trauma is associated with the need of holistic patient care. The aim of the study was to assess the patient's bio-psychosocial condition, distinguish nursing diagnoses, as well as plan the related interventions and evaluate their results. The research methods used in this work are analysis, observation and diagnostic survey; techniques used at work include, among others, the analysis of the literature or the analysis of the documentation of an individual patient's case. Among the research tools used at work, there are numerous scientific articles, medical histories, observation cards and own photographic documentation (with the consent of the patient). This paper presents two research questions related with holistic approach to nursing care of a patient after a multi-organ trauma caused by suicide attempt, as well as the possibilities of improving nursing care for patients hospitalized due to polytrauma injuries with coexisting psychiatric disorders. Results and conclusions which came from this work may help with improving nursing care for patients with the previously mentioned health issues. Some of the main problems of a patient after multi-organ trauma are immobilization, a deficit of self-care and exclusion from social life. An individual approach to the patient, providing holistic nursing care after multi-organ trauma and craniocerebral trauma are key to achieving a therapeutic effect. The result of this care depends on the number of staff, their level of knowledge, experience and skills. The above-mentioned determinants of the work of the nursing team in caring for hospitalized patients due to the injuries mentioned above will affect the quality of nursing care, and therefore it is necessary to strive for their improvement.

Opis:: This paper proposes an approach to verb-noun constructions that allows them to be understood holistically, which facilitates the acquisition of their distinctive features (for example, the presence or absence of an article) and their effective correlation with certain communicative functions and situations. Therefore, their use will not only be lexically and grammatically appropriate, but the apprentices will be able to make use of them as a whole acquired and associated with a certain communicative situation or function. As a result, their fluency will gain naturalness and will be closer to native.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to outline the approach to developing a long-term strategy for sustainable development of agriculture in Poland. The author pre- sents the issues to be considered when pursuing such a strategy. It is limited to three issues: justification for agricultural transformation towards sustainability, approach to strategy pursuing and strategy outline. The analysis was made on the basis of literature and the author’s own reflections. It was found that the transformation of agriculture towards sustainability re- quires developing an appropriate long-term strategy, which in particular would create a framework for ongoing programs and policy interventions. When imple- menting the strategy – generational change – some objectives result directly from EU policy – in particular achieving climate neutrality and preventing biodiversity decline. Moreover, the objectives which cannot be ignored include soil fertility and food security. There is a need to develop scenarios for achieving these objec- tives with regard to the welfare and aspirations of the new generation, taking into account progress (innovation) and new demographic, climate, environmental, social, and cultural conditions at the national and international level.
Celem artykułu jest zarysowanie podejścia do opracowania długookresowej strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju rolnictwa w Polsce. Przedstawiono zagadnienia, jakie trzeba rozważyć, budując taką strategię. Ograniczono się do trzech zagadnień: uzasadnienia transformacji rolnictwa ku zrównoważeniu, podejścia do budowy strategii oraz szkicu strategii. Analizy dokonano na podstawie literatury przedmiotu i własnych przemyśleń autora. Stwierdzono, że transformacja rolnictwa ku zrównoważeniu wymaga wypracowania stosownej strategii długookresowej, która w szczególności tworzyłaby ramy dla bieżących programów i interwencji polityki. W okresie realizacji strategii – zmiany pokoleniowej – niektóre cele wynikają wprost z polityki UE – w szczególności dotyczące osiągnięcia neutralności klimatycznej i powstrzymania redukcji bioróżnorodności. Również nie do pominięcia są cele dotyczące żyzności gleb i bezpieczeństwa żywnościowego. Zachodzi potrzeba opracowania scenariuszy dochodzenia do tych celów z odniesieniem do dobrostanu i aspiracji przychodzącego na świat pokolenia – uwzględniając przy tym czynnik postępu (innowacje) oraz nowe uwarunkowania demograficzne, klimatyczne, środowiskowe, społeczne, kulturowe – krajowe i międzynarodowe.

Opis:: The recognition that transversal competences are increasingly needed to face the challenges of the ever-changing world has given rise to work examining students' development of transversal competences (TVCs) during their university time. This approach argues in favor of embedding transversal competences as well as health literacy competence and subject-based competences in curricula. The mini-study presented herein first posits a logical model for the integration of transversal competences in university curricula, supplemented with a qualimetric model comprising 6 factors associated with transversal competences. The resulting tools for transversal competence evaluation and self-assessment were next applied in a pilot questionnaire study of a small group of management students at a local university. Overall, the findings support the claim that students' TVC development requires a new educational paradigm based on a holistic approach to competence-based learning that involves the harmonious development of a person's TVCs and subject-based competences. Moreover, the results may serve as a reference for future studies on transversal competences and health literacy in particular, as well as for teachers and researchers in related fields.
