Opis:: Along with the description of contemporary societies, including the indication of clear tendencies towards „individualisation” of lifespan, focusing on subjects that observe themselves with reflection, an issue appears regarding the creation of a community, including the educational one. A peculiar outline of the reflexive modernity is recognised on the basis the ways how individuals achieve social integration. Despite the differentiating forms of social and cultural life, the foundation of the accomplishment of self and the society,is still „community”, which constitutes an encouragement to enter the issue of social (dis)integration, an inspiration allowing to bestow a defined sense on democracy, and socialization processes. Therefore, the need to consider the issues of communities arises, including their confirmation in education. To present a path for social integration, with the full awareness that in modern societies the „common good” ideal is being lost, one should be accompanied by indications regarding education itself. One may reduce them to how the community constituted due to and within education, ensured the integration of all entities concerned, and helped accomplish democracy.

Opis:: Individualisation in the process of physical education is a contemporary challenge. The forms of conducting classes used so far, based on collective, most often homogeneous effort without taking into account the diverse abilities of students, do not stand the test of time. This may cause problems, mainly in terms of behaviour, as the student’s rights at school have been strengthened and his/her dissatisfaction with the programme has an impact on the course of the didactic process. It is necessary to think in advance about possible manifestations of such reluctance or lack of acceptance of the proposed offer so that the authority of the school does not suffer and the pupils are satisfied that the offer meets their expectations. This will be possible when the curriculum of physical education takes into account, more than before, the needs of the individual.
Indywidualizacja w procesie wychowania fizycznego jest współczesnym wyzwaniem. Nie wytrzymują próby czasu dotychczas stosowane formy prowadzenia zajęć, oparte na zbiorowym, najczęściej jednorodnym wysiłku, bez uwzględniania zróżnicowanych możliwości uczniów. To może być powodem problemów, głównie wychowawczych, gdyż prawo ucznia w szkole uległo wzmocnieniu i jego niezadowolenie z programu może utrudniać przebieg procesu dydaktycznego. Należy uprzedzać ewentualne przejawy takiej niechęci lub braku akceptacji dla proponowanej oferty, by autorytet szkoły na tym nie cierpiał, a uczniowie mieli satysfakcję, że spełnia ona ich oczekiwania. Będzie to możliwe wtedy, kiedy program nauczania z wychowania fizycznego uwzględni, bardziej niż dotychczas,potrzeby jednostki.

Opis:: Article attempts to discuss the significance of individual consciousness, people’s motivation to pursuit their ends and the extent of their freedom from exterior influences, while focusing on relationship between migration processes and belongings among diasporic groups. It draws on insight from the indepth interviews with migrants who are a part of Slovene and Irish transnational diaspora, and thus aims to represent certain transformations in social reality embraced by the ideas of individualisation, while being simultaneously aware of particular weaknesses of those ideas. The focus is on their conceptualisations and perceptions of home, as a useful concept in considering individualisation that undermines the traditional meanings of tradition, family relations, ethnical and national belongings. What seems to be important is that in the era of increased individualisation, traditional social categories remain salient although contested and social forces still represent influential components inmigrants’ negotiation of the selves and the others. The conceptual lens, which could capture the contested relation between agency and structure in migrants’ live, is that of transnational social fields.

Opis:: The article discusses the sense of community of contemporary residents of the north-eastern Polish borderland. The process of individualisation and the contemporary direction of interpreting the concept of community constitute the background of the analyses. The adopted pedagogical perspective of narration has set out both the theoretical foundations of the presented research results, as well as their interpretation, stressing the importance of the local environment and its cultural nature as factors determining an individual’s consciousness of belonging to a community and taking responsibility for it. The article presents selected aspects of the statistical analysis of the sense of community and their interpretation.

Opis:: In an empirical quantitative study, the aim of which was to examine more thoroughly the representation of recognition and appreciation of the individual abilities of children in preschool education from the point of view of students, 321 respondents participated – students of the first and second cycles of preschool education programmes of faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. The main findings of the study indicate that although students highly value the recognition and appreciation of individual abilities in working with children, the degree of recognition of children’s abilities is higher in relation to their appreciation in practice, as well as a more optimal appreciation of the individual abilities of children without than with developmental difficulties.

Opis:: Fundamentalnym celem pracy jest rozstrzygnięcie kwestii istnienia ochrony tytułu w prawie własności intelektualnej. Tytuł, jako krótka fraza składająca się z jednego lub kilku słów, często posiadająca indywidualny i wyróżniający charakter, będący efektem intelektualnego wysiłku człowieka, ma niebagatelne znaczenie z punktu widzenia ochrony interesów podmiotu uprawnionego do niego, ale także innych uczestników obrotu np. odbiorców twórczości lub nabywców towarów i usług. Analiza wskazanej problematyki została przeprowadzona na gruncie trzech obecnie obowiązujących ustaw – prawa autorskiego, prawa prasowego oraz prawa własności przemysłowej. Rozważania te zostały uzupełnione o studium prawnoporównawcze i rys historyczny.
The fundamental aim of this study is to determine the existence of title protection under intellectual property law. The title, a short phrase consisting of one or more words, often having individual and distinctive character, which is the result of human intellectual effort, is of great importance from the point of view of protecting the interests of the entity entitled to it, but also other market participants such as recipients of creativity or purchasers of goods and services. Analysis was carried out on the basis of three of the existing laws - copyright law, press law and industrial property law. These considerations are supplemented by comparative law study and historical overview.

Opis:: Commemoration in public space is usually associated with the creation of official objects related to important events or individuals, most often in the form of monuments or plaques. In the paper, the author considers alternative forms of commemoration which, by existing in the social space, invade privacy, taking into account not only artistic activities such as Stolpersteine/Gunter Demnig’s “stumbling stones” but also, for example, candles or flowers at accident sites. So, the author examines non-monumental forms of commemoration and considers the questions related to the reception of these objects, including their penetration into common cultural spaces.

Opis:: Great social processes (cultural megatrends) such as structural and functional differentiation, institutional specialization, socio-cultural pluralism, worldview competition and individualisation play an important role in secularized societies. Under the contemporary conditions of the social modernisation and individualization and pluralisation that are all connected, crucial transformation of the religious and moral values and beliefs takes place. In the paper the accent attention is paid to a couple of important issues: social and cultural context of individualisation as well as the influences of the structural individualism on religious life of contemporary people. These influences lead to a specific “fragmentarisation” of the Church as well as to the evolution from the Church religiosity to pluralised, segmented, deregulated and individualized religiosity.

Opis:: The article is a voice in the discussion on globalization and attempt to answer the question whether it is neutral in terms of cultural description of the geopolitical realities of the 21st century, or normative vision of some form of life? The statement was constructed on the basis of a critical review of contemporary social theory, in which globalization is seen as a process of transforming not only the institutions and organizations, but also the very fabric of identity and personal life. In conclusion, we formulated the thesis of the two ways in which globalization has made in the sphere of culture. The first is the homogenization, where it promotes the same for all values, the same patterns of consumption. The second is diversification, feed to the extraction and creation of nationalism, the search for individuality, identity building (often constructed based on the tradition). Individual culture reconstruct their specificity, endemising transnational cultural forms, and therefore should pay attention not only to the global institutionalization of worldly life, but also the location of globality. The task of the future of social theory is, therefore, critical examination and analysis of the social conditions in which the global media can both strengthen and weaken national culture and identity.
Artykuł jest głosem w dyskusji na temat zjawiska globalizacji i próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy jest ono neutralnym pod względem kulturowym opisem geopolitycznych realiów XXI wieku, czy też normatywną wizją pewnej formy życia? Wypowiedź skonstruowano na podstawie krytycznego przeglądu współczesnej teorii społecznej, w której globalizacja jawi się jako proces przekształcający nie tylko instytucje i organizacje, lecz także samą tkankę tożsamości i życia osobistego. We wnioskach końcowych sformułowano tezę o dwóch sposobach, w jakich dokonuje się globalizacja w sferze kultury. Pierwszy to homogenizacja, w której promuje się te same dla wszystkich wartości oraz wzory konsumpcji. Drugi to dywersyfikacja doprowadzająca do wyodrębniania się i tworzenia nacjonalizmów, poszukiwania odrębności, budowania tożsamości (często opartej na konstruowanej tradycji). Poszczególne kultury rekonstruują swą specyfikę, endemizując ponadnarodowe formy kulturowe, w związku z czym należy zwrócić uwagę nie tylko na globalną instytucjonalizację światowego życia, ale również na lokalizację globalności. Zadaniem przyszłej teorii społecznej jest zatem krytyczne badanie i analizowanie warunków społecznych, w których globalne media mogą zarówno wzmacniać, jak i osłabiać narodowe kultury i tożsamości.
