Opis:: Praca podejmuje zagadnienia związane z możliwościami, jakie daje wykorzystanie systemów informacji przestrzennej (z ang. GIS - Geographic Information Systems) w rolnictwie, zarówno w ujęciu mikro, jak i makro gospodarczym. Połączenie informacji dotyczących szeroko rozumianej produkcji rolnej z konkretną sytuacją przestrzenną daje praktycznie nieograniczone możliwości analityczne, służące optymalizacji cyklu wytwórczego, łącznie z etapem dystrybucji płodów rolnych. Dzięki temu otrzymujemy narzędzie wpływające na poprawę jakości i efektywności pracy, a co za tym idzie maksymalizację dochodów. Dodatkowo autorzy pracy zwracają uwagę na uniwersalność metod stosowanych w ramach rozwiązań GIS, dzięki czemu mogą z niej korzystać zarówno organy centralne, odpowiadające za realizację polityki rolnej Państwa, jak i indywidualni producenci rolni.
The paper takes up issues related to possibilities resulting from the use of spatial information systems (GIS - Geographic Information Systems) in agriculture, both from micro- and macroeconomic perspective. Linking of information concerning widely understood agricultural production with specific spatial situation gives practically unlimited analytical capabilities, used to optimize manufacturing cycle, including farm produce distribution stage. Owing to this, we obtain a tool that improves quality and efficiency of work, and consequently guarantees income maximisation. Additionally, the authors of this paper draw attention to versatility of methods employed as part of GIS solutions. This makes them useful both for central authorities responsible for implementation of the State agricultural policy, and individual agricultural manufacturers.

Opis:: In a connected and uncertain world, where almost two thirds of the world's population are now online, the integration of digital tools in the social and economic context is becoming a priority and an imposed choice for any organization. As a result, the strategic position of the Information System (IS) in these organizations is necessarily linked to performance. The creation of added value or net benefits through the use of these platforms becomes an ultimate and strategic objective for any organization. This study evaluates the success of the information system (IS) for electronic payment of port fees. From a quantitative approach of a hypothetico-deductive nature and using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), we found that the success of the IS implies a quality of the electronic payment system, as well as the information produced influences the use and satisfaction of the users and finally these last two findings impact the individual and organizational performance of the organizations. Opis:: Data communication security assurance in the Central Node of Poland's Schengen Information System and Visa Information System Component (in polish: Centralny Węzeł Polskiego Komponentu Systemu Informacyjnego Schengen i Systemu Informacji Wizowej - CW PK SIS i VIS) is crucial for building adequate trust of the operation of mechanisms of the Schengen agreement in Poland. Presented in this chapter are the security requirements, agreed by member states of the Schengen agreement, which fulfillment is subject to independent review during periodical SIS/SIRENE evaluations. The essence of law, organizational and technical role means have also been indicated for assuring a high level of SIS and VIS data communication security, which is higher than the standard level required by regulations on the protecting of personal data. Directions for further development of the implementation of the SIS and VIS in Poland have been presented in the conclusion.

Tytuł:: Strategic information and its systemic processing in the space of current scientific discourse

Opis:: Strategic information is a concept that has been known in management for a long time, but new ideas are constantly being born in the context of its systemic processing. In the following study, the thesis was adopted that the context of current conditions in the environment determines challenges in the field of systemic processing of strategic information. So what is the subject of scientific inquiry today and can any primary areas be identified? The aim of the article is to establish a general framework of the current scientific discourse on strategic information and its systemic processing based on a review of the latest scientific publications and the identification of key threads. In the research part, the method of systematic review of the literature on the subject using the resources of the EBSCO database was used. In the next step, the method of determining nomothetic binary oppositions was used. Such oppositions appear in a set of concepts that synthetically capture the content of individual texts. The procedure used showed that the current leading issues are related to: identifying strategic information resources in previously ignored areas of reality; revealing strategic potential through new information resources; modifying the scope and parameters of information considered strategic; changing the rules of the market game based on the innovative use of information revealing strategic importance.

Duża ilość (niejednokrotnie nadmiar) różnorodnej informacji powodują, że musi być ona odpowiednio gromadzona, przetwarzana oraz w odpowiedniej formie i zakresie udostępniana odbiorcom, co obecnie realizuje się przy wykorzystaniu systemów informacyjnych, których funkcjonowanie w dużym stopniu zdeterminowane zostało przez rozwiązania informatyczne. O efektywności wykorzystania zasobów informacyjnych decyduje nie tylko „jakość” systemu informacyjnego, ale również umiejętność właściwego ich wykorzystania, która w dużym stopniu oparta jest o wiedzę i doświadczenie.
Constantly changed conditions and dynamic of the economic activity cause to that a widely comprehended information is very important factor determining success every projects. Large quantity (sometimes overflow) of the varied information results in it has to be suitably collected and converted and furnished in right form and range. In the recent time it is running by using of information systems determining by the information technology. Not only „quality” of the information systems but ability of typical using of information stock is a factor of economic efficiently with is based on knowledge and experiences.

Opis:: 'Land' plays multidimensional role in maintaining many global processes, therefore sustainable planning and management of land resources is an important issue at the global forum. The process of land resource planning and associated decision-making invariably involves multiple objectives, multiple criteria and multiple social interests and preferences. Such complexity necessitates a systematic approach to the decision-making process to accommodate the multiplicity and multi dimensionalities of the problem to improve the reasonability of decisions and to justify the actions to be taken. The objective of this study is to perform a preliminary assessment of the landslide susceptibility for enviroment protection in the City of Zagreb. A geographic information system (GIS) database was compiled based on data from topographical and geological maps. Weight of evidence, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and fuzzy logic methods, as well as hybrid methods, were used to establish the rating of classed for each factor, weigting for the factors, and to combine multiple factor layers into landslide-susceptibility maps. The results recognize relative weights between the influential factors and promote the real efficiency on City of Zagreb hillsides disaster can be important references for establishing the evaluation model.

This article is an attempt to approach essential issues in designing modern information systems. The key to successful information system is good design. A modern design requires looking from a number of different perspectives. Different people use different information in different contexts. These problems should be analyzed and requirements should be documented before solutions are designed and implemented. Satisfying the business needs is a baseline standard for information system.
