Opis:: The article discusses some selected approaches to classroom communication and addresses the problem of its authenticity. The complexity of the subject, together with the multiplicity of the models, interpretations and research methodologies used in the process of data collection and analysis contribute to the fact that classroom discourse is generally regarded as a problematic and demanding research area which requires a multi-dimensional approach and a well-grounded choice of analytic framework.

Opis:: Interaction Analysis has been explored for the initiating topics, turn taking, and asking and answering questions in face-to-face learning environments during the last decades. This study investigated the form and sequence of the questions and answers in an asynchronous environment from a non-interventionist point of view. To conduct the research, 16 questions and answers from the discussion boards of an eight-week international online research course from 30 participants were copied, classified, and analyzed according to the Hmelo-Silver and Barrows’ (2008) grid. All the questions were classified as long-answer, short-answer, and task-oriented questions and their frequencies were calculated. Also, the presence of the Initiation, Response, and Feedback/Inquiry (IRFI) pattern was examined The results indicated that the largest number of questions fell under long-answer types and the participants were more motivated in responding the long-answer queries relating directly to the immediate studied materials or asking about definitions and personal ideas. The findings supported the idea that IRFI pattern might not be applicable in asynchronous environments. Therefore, the instructional patterns need to be designed carefully according to the needs of the new contexts. This study could enhance meaningful interactions in online educational settings such as language learning, teacher training, and professional development.

Opis:: Research background The rapid expansion in recent fintech innovations has garnered researchers’ attention to evaluate its influence on the banking industry. Purpose In this quest, the current study conducts an interaction analysis to measure the impact of the fintech era on Indian banking stability. Research methodology Similarly to previous studies, we use a regression analysis and a Pearson correlation on the transition period of the fintech era to measure the impact of explanatory variables on the outcome variables of the Indian banking industry. Furthermore, as a robustness test, we have also used the Generalised Method of Moments system approach. This enabled us to make comparisons with similar studies. Results Using annual data from 1995 to 2021, the study reveals that, compared to the first fintech era, the second era assisted in reducing NPLs and enhancing financial stability in India. The study concludes that during the second wave of the fintech revolution, through interaction analysis, explanatory variables positively influence banking stability and NPLs. Novelty The current study contributes toward understanding the significance of fintech development from the context of an emerging country. It also helps to interpret the importance of disruptive forces of fintech development in the banking industry.

Opis:: W pracy analizowany jest obwód prądu przemiennego z przykładowym obciążeniem nieliniowym i filtrem biernym LC. Przyjęto obciążenie nieliniowe, którego napięcie na zaciskach zasilania jest proporcjonalne do funkcji signum prądu. Charakterystyka napięciowo - prądowa takiego obciążenia jest jednoznaczna (bez histerezy). Przeprowadzono analizę jakościową przebiegów napięć i prądów obwodu. Wykonano analizy przepływu mocy czynnej i biernej dla harmonicznej podstawowej i wyższych harmonicznych w obwodzie.
The paper deals with the AC circuit with an example of a non-linear load and an LC passive filter. The voltage on the nonlinear load terminals is proportional to the signum function of the current. The voltage - current characteristic of such load is unambiguous (without hysteresis). The quality analysis of the voltage and current waveforms of the circuit was carried out. The analysis of active and reactive power flow for fundamental and higher harmonics in the circuit were carried out.

Opis:: The static series synchronous compensator (SSSC) has demonstrated its capability in providing voltage support and improving power system stability. The objective of this paper is to analyze the dynamic interaction stability mechanism of a hybrid renewable energy system connected with doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) and solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) energy with the SSSC. For this purpose, a linearized mathematical model of this modified hybrid single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) power system is developed to analyze the physical mechanism of the SSSC in suppressing oscillations and the influence on the dynamic stability characteristics of synchronization. Typical impacting factors such as the series compensation level, the SOFC penetration and tie-line power are considered in the SMIB and two-area systems. The impact of dynamic interactions on enhancing damping characteristics and improving transient performance of the studied systems is demonstrated using eigenvalue analysis and dynamic time-domain simulations, which validates the validity of the proposed physical mechanism simultaneously.

Opis:: Against the backdrop of an increasing interest in visual methods in social research, this paper examines some theoretical foundations of human (inter-)action by reflecting on the interplay between senses, the body, and biography. The main purpose of the paper is to combine an integral, non-Cartesian concept of the self as body (respectively the lived body as self) with biographical research—thus enriching research on the body, as well as on biography. Criticizing the Cartesian split of body and mind, classical phenomenological (Leib) and recent concepts of the body (“embodiment”) are sketched, resulting in a processual model of the sensual construction of the lived and living body in its environment. Given the interplay of bodily foundations of the self and processes of biographical structuring, so far, distant fields of research are converged. Some suggestions for conceptual improvements, an attentional shift to body aspects, respective research topics, and the extension of methods exceeding the narrative biographical interview in biographical research are indicated.

Opis:: This article presents theoretical concepts and methodological tools from multimodal (inter)action analysis that allow the reader to gain new insight into the study of discourse and interaction. The data for this article comes from a video ethnographic study (with emphasis on the video data) of 17 New Zealand families (inter)acting with family members via skype or facetime across the globe. In all, 84 social actors participated in the study, ranging in age from infant to 84 years old. The analysis part of the project, with data collected between December 2014 and December 2015, is ongoing. The data presented here was collected in December 2014 and has gone through various stages of analysis, ranging from general, intermediate to micro analysis. Using the various methodological tools and emphasising the notion of mediation, the article demonstrates how a New Zealand participant first pays focused attention to his engagement in the research project. He then performs a semantic/pragmatic means, indicating a shift in his focused attention. Here, it is demonstrated that a new focus builds up incrementally: As the participant begins to focus on the skype (inter)action with his sister and nieces, modal density increases and he establishes an emotive closeness. At this point, the technology that mediates the interaction is only a mundane aspect, taken for granted by the participants.
