The main part of the publication includes presentation of detailed requirements of the environmental norm with indications of their capabilities for the process of computer helping (aiding) system of the environmental management.

Na początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych dwudziestego wieku Międzynarodowa Organizacja Standaryzacyjna (International Standarisation Organization, ISO) opublikowała normę ISO 14001, a Unia Europejska Rozporządzenie Rady z dnia 29 czerwca 1993 r. nr 1836/93 dopuszczające dobrowolny udział organizacji z sektora przemysłowego w systemie eko-zarządzania i audytu Wspólnoty Europejskiej (tzw. rozporządzenie EMAS), które miały umożliwiać przedsiębiorstwom formalne wykazanie się właściwym stosunkiem do środowiska. Praca została podzielona na cztery rozdziały.Rozdział pierwszy poświęcony został przedstawieniu charakterystyki systemów zarządzania środowiskowego. Przedstawiono w nim genezę systemów zarządzania środowiskowego oraz omówiono wymagania normy ISO 14001 i systemu EMAS.W rozdziale drugim dokonano analizy procedury wdrażania systemu EMAS w przedsiębiorstwie.W rozdziale trzecim dokonano charakterystyki przedsiębiorstwa RAFAKO S.A. oraz omówiono zasady polityki środowiskowej stosowanej w badanym przedsiębiorstwie.Rozdział czwarty poświęcony został analizie systemu EMAS w badanym przedsiębiorstwie.
In its institutionalized form of environmental management systems exist in the world for several years . In the early nineties of the twentieth century the International Organization for Standardization (International Standarisation Organization, ISO ) published ISO 14001 and the European Union Council Regulation of 29 June 1993 . No 1836/93 allowing voluntary participation of organizations from the industrial sector in a Community eco -management and audit of the European Community (ie . the EMAS Regulation ), which were enabling firms to formally demonstrate to be the right attitude to the environment.

Opis:: The article presents pro-ecological activities realized in the past years and planned for the years 2014-2016 by The Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company of the Czestochowa District. It highlights numerous benefits stemming from the implementation of EMAS in entrepreneurships. The Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company of the Czestochowa District is one of few companies in the field which obtained the Integrated Management System Certificate. The present article presents, among others, the identification of the environmental aspects, environmental effectiveness ratio undertaken by the Company in order to implement the Eco-Management and Audit. The analysis of the realized ecological projects proves the effectiveness of the actions for the environment protection undertaken by the described Entrepreneurship.
W artykule przedstawiono działania proekologiczne zrealizowane w poprzednich latach oraz planowane na lata 2014-2016 przez Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Okręgu Częstochowskiego S.A. Zwrócono uwagę na liczne korzyści płynące z wdrożenia EMAS w przedsiębiorstwach. Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Okręgu Częstochowskiego S.A. jest jedną z niewielu firm tej branży, które uzyskały certyfikat Zintegrowanego Systemu Zarządzania. W pracy przedstawiono działania m.in identyfikację aspektów środowiskowych, obliczenie wskaźnika efektywności środowiskowej podjęte przez przedsiębiorstwo w celu wdrożenia Systemu Ekozarządzania i Audytu. Analiza zrealizowanych zadań ekologicznych świadczy o skutecznych działaniach podejmowanych przez omawiane przedsiębiorstwo na rzecz ochrony środowiska.

Tytuł:: Systemic support and environmental awareness in a normalised environmental management system consistent with ISO 14001

Opis:: The study aimed to determine the correlations occurring between systemic support and environmental awareness. Additionally, the authors wished to establish which systemic factors (criteria of the ISO 14001) impact those dependencies. Quantitative and qualitative research were carried out (survey findings were analysed against documentation research and self-observation records). The authors used literature review, analysis of system documentation, survey research and self-observation. The research was conducted in the period from April to May 2020. It focused on a chemical company operating within the structure of a large capital group and employing over 1,500 people. The system theory was used in the research. This theory recognises the existence of correlations and interactions among its subsystems and the elements that constitute them. The conducted study points unequivocally to a considerable discrepancy between employees' opinions and records made in the documentation. Correlations between support and awareness level do exist, although for them to be positive, it is necessary to ensure an efficient process of communicating the effectiveness of the environmental management system. Reliance merely on audit findings, management reviews and environment monitoring process is insufficient. More focus is required on building employee commitment, as well as on counteracting excessive formalisation. Environmental management systems have been gaining in popularity. There have been studies into the motives behind implementation of such systems, their benefits and their barriers for their application. However, there is a lack of research on the relationship between the individual criteria of the environmental management system.

Opis:: W dobie widocznej ekologizacji gospodarki przedsiębiorstwa coraz częściej podejmują dobrowolne działania proekologiczne. Jednym z dobrowolnych narzędzi jakie są do dyspozycji przedsiębiorstw w ramach wykazywanej przez nie chęci bycia "środowiskowo przyjaznym" jest system zarządzania środowiskowego (SZŚ) wg normy ISO 14001. Celem wdrażania i utrzymywania przez przedsiębiorstwa SZŚ jest cel ekologiczny - minimalizacja negatywnego oddziaływania przedsiębiorstwa na środowisko przyrodnicze. Oprócz celu ekologicznego SZŚ pozwala przedsiębiorstwom, w których funkcjonuje na osiąganie różnych korzyści. Analizując praktyczne funkcjonowanie SZŚ w przedsiębiorstwach można zatem postawić sobie pytanie: jakie efekty rzeczowe i ekologiczne uzyskuje przedsiębiorstwo dzięki funkcjonującemu w nim SZŚ? Odpowiedź na to pytanie starano się uzyskać przeprowadzając badania w przedsiębiorstwach przemysłu chemicznego. W toku przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, iż przedsiębiorstwa, w których funkcjonuje System Zarządzania Środowiskowego według normy ISO 14001 osiągają wymierne efekty rzeczowe i ekologiczne, jednak nie jest to w pełni zasługą samego SZŚ.
In the age of apparent ecologisation of economy, enterprises increasingly undertake voluntary pro-ecological actions, for example by implementing environment management system (EMS) based on the norm ISO 14001. The environment management system based on the norm ISO 14001 ought to be treated as an instrument, which should be of advantage both to environment and the enterprise itself. Realisation of laid out targets contained in the environmental policy requires larger or smaller financial expenditures to be incurred. The assessment performed EMS from the point of view of ecological results and real effects shows that owing to operating EMS an enterprise receives a number of direct and indirect benefits.

Such efforts have resulted in the development Safety and Quality Assessment System (SQAS) to assess the haulers. This paper presents tools standardization of business as an opportunity to improve the market positions of dangerous goods haulers.
Rozwój systemów zarządzania środowiskiem (EMS) jest odpowiedzią na globalne problemy środowiskowe a jednocześnie uświadomieniem, że zrównoważony rozwój jest wstępnym warunkiem do utrzymania środowiska w naturalnej równowadze. Transport drogowy ładunków niebezpiecznych jest złożoną działalnością, obarczoną dużym ryzykiem, stanowiącą jedno z głównych zagrożeń dla ludzi i środowiska. Dlatego też wprowadzenie określonych narzędzi systemowych m. in. w zakresie standardów operacyjnych przyczynia się do bezpieczniejszego i sprawniejszego przewozu towarów niebezpiecznych. Połączenie działań w zakresie bezpieczeństwa, ochrony środowiska i poprawy jakości świadczonych usług jest możliwe dzięki takim narzędziom, jak program Odpowiedzialność i Troska (Responsible Care) i system oceny bezpieczeństwa i jakości (Safety Quality Assessment Systems). W artykule przedstawiono wpływ tych standardowych instrumentów na poprawę pozycji rynkowej przedsiębiorstw przewożących ładunki niebezpieczne.

Opis:: Minimizing the impact of operations on the environment is one of the most important strategic objectives of enterprises. These actions result from the implementation of the strategy CRS, which in relation to environmental policy is implemented in organizations by EMAS or ISO standard 14001. The implementation of the Environmental Management System, and then subjecting a system of certification by an independent entity tilled is a necessary step in the implementation of EMAS. This article presents the number of environmental management system certification for compliance with ISO 14001 registered by the ISO and the leading certification body in Poland. The analysis of data from ISO Survey report shows that the number of certificates issued worldwide since 2008 constantly increasing. Most certificates from 2012 was spent in the construction industry, the least in the food industry. According to the data of the certification it shows that in Poland from 2012 to 2014 were issued 148 certificates of which 30 new ones. Also in Poland, companies in the construction industry most often undergo certification of conformity to ISO 14001. Minimalizacja wpływu działalności organizacji na środowisko naturalne jest jednym z najważniejszych założeń strategicznych przedsiębiorstw. Działania te wynikają z wdrażania strategii CSR, która w odniesieniu do polityki środowiskowej w organizacjach realizowana jest poprzez system EMAS bądź wymagania normy ISO 14001. Wdrożenie Systemu Zarządzania Środowiskowego, a następnie poddanie systemu certyfikacji przez niezależną jednostkę jest niezbędnym krokiem w realizacji systemu EMAS. W artykule została przedstawiona liczba certyfikacji systemu zarządzania środowiskowego na zgodność z normą ISO 14001 zarejestrowana przez organizację ISO oraz wiodącą jednostkę certyfikującą w Polsce. Z przeprowadzonej analizy danych z raportu ISO Survey wynika, że liczba wydanych certyfikatów na świecie od 2008 r. nieustannie wzrasta. Najwięcej certyfikatów od 2012 r. wydano w branży budowlanej, najmniej zaś w branży spożywczej. Z danych jednostki certyfikującej wynika, iż w Polsce od 2012 do 2014 wydano 148 certyfikatów, w tym 30 nowych. Również w Polsce przedsiębiorstwa z branży budowlanej najczęściej poddawały się certyfikacji na zgodność z wymaganiami ISO 14001.

Rozwój Systemów Zarządzania Środowiskiem (EMS) rozpoczęty w odpowiedzi na globalne kwestie środowiskowe oraz jako uznanie świadomości zrównoważonego rozwoju jest warunkiem wstępnym dla utrzymania naturalnego systemu we właściwej równowadze. Transport niebezpiecznych towarów drogami jest dość złożoną czynnością, która stwarza potencjalne zagrożenie dla ludzi i środowiska. Zatem wprowadzenie pewnych narzędzi systemowych (standaryzacji biznesu) przyczynia się do bezpieczniejszych i lepszych operacji w transporcie drogowym towarów niebezpiecznych. Przemysł chemiczny łączy swoje wysiłki dla bezpieczeństwa z tymi dla ochrony środowiska w programie Odpowiedzialnej Opieki (Responsible Care - RC). Wysiłki te skutkują rozwojem Systemu Bezpieczeństwa i Ochrony Jakości (SQAS) celem oceny spedytorów. Opis:: Within the boundaries of many municipal urbanized areas, large grounds are found, from which the noise is emitted into the environment, surrounded by the regions liable to acoustic protection. Such a condition generates many problems including also those ones related to the lack of the fulfillment of requirements concerning environmental protection against excessive noise. Therefore the aim of vital importance is the proper management of municipal grounds, both in view of the investment in policy steering, especially of new investments, and in the case of activities aimed at maintaining or restoring (revitalizing) the acoustic properties on the grounds that have already been used or simply degraded before. Keeping the scale of the problem in mind, such activities must be carried on not temporarily, but must have a systemic character. The structure of every system is characterized by the appropriate relationships among their elements and the properties of those relationships. In case of the noise management system, the elements of such a system are the activities connected with the management itself that are the actions which rely on specifying the aims and causing their realization within the scope and on the grounds subject to the managing entity. The superior aim of such activities should be to supply the tools for improvement of management and in the process of taking decisions that relate to investments including the of optimization conditions and maintenance of socio-economic importance of such areas.
