Metoda termoelementu obcego wymaga wykonania otworu w narzędziu skrawającym. Jest to zatem metoda inwazyjna, która ma wpływ na postać narzędzia i tym samym na przepływ ciepła w ostrzu narzędzia. Artykuł przedstawia modelowanie MES, które celem jest sprawdzenie wpływu obecności tego otworu na wartości temperatur ostrza podczas skrawania.
The method of the inserted thermocouple requires making the hole in the machining tool. And so it is the invading method which is affecting the form of the tool.
