Opis:: The aim of the study was to evaluate the species composition in the fallow lands in areas heavily degraded by the mining and processing industries. The research was conducted in the western part of the Małopolska province in the municipality of Trzebinia. The layer C of phytocenosis that is the green layer was analyzed by specifying its all plant species and by approximately estimating vegetation cover according to the modified Braun-Blanquet scale. 212 species of vascular plants were found in the research areas. Species typical of fallow lands and ruderal areas i.e. giant goldenrod, couch grass and bush grass are the dominant species in the study areas. Among the species found in the study areas the species typical of fresh meadows such as false oat-grass, goosegrass and sorrel as well as thermophilic species such as crownvetch, greater knapweed or cypress spurge appear with great frequency.

Opis:: The subject of this work is to analyze the cooperation of partner cities in the context of cultural integration in Europe. The aim of this study is to investigate the level of awareness of the residents of the municipalities when it comes to the value of international cooperation and the extent to which this cooperation is the cultural expression of European integration. Municipality of Trzebinia was randomly selected for testing. The main aspects raised in the work are: cultural integration, international relations of cities and the cooperation of the municipality of Trzebinia with partner cities.The collaboration of the partner cities is an important part of cultural integration in Europe. International cooperation at lower levels, such as municipalities, literally embodies the idea of a common Europe, and thanks to direct contacts affects the creation of the image of the country on the international stage. The research carried out at the local municipality of Trzebinia shows that awareness of the impact of international cooperation is high and satisfactory.The residents have a positive opinion about government activities in the field of international cooperation. This evaluation shows that the measures implemented within the framework of the agreements are effective. Properly prepared and rich offer of cultural events attracts the interest of more and more people, and the growth of this involvement has a significant impact on the cultural development of "communities" actively involved in the events of implementing the policy of partnership.
Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest analiza współpracy miast partnerskich w kontekście procesu integracji kulturowej w Europie. Celem pracy jest zbadanie, jaka jest świadomość mieszkańców wartości współpracy zagranicznej w gminach oraz w jakim stopniu współpraca ta jest przejawem kulturowej integracji europejskiej. Gmina Trzebinia została losowo wybrana do przeprowazdenia badań. Głównymi aspektami poruszanymi w pracy są integracja kulturowa, stosunki międzynarodowe miast, a także współpraca Gminy Trzebinia z miastami partnerskimi.Współpraca Miast Partnerskich jest istotnym elementem integracji kulturowej w Europie. Współpraca międzynarodowa na niższych szczeblach, np. Gminy, w sensie dosłownym realizuje ideę wspólnej Europy, a dzięki bezpośrednim kontaktom wpływa na kreowanie wizerunku całego państwa na arenie miedzynarodowej. Z badań przeprowadzonych na społeczności lokalnej Gminy Trzebinia wynika, że świadomość wpływu prowadzonej współpracy zagranicznej jest wysoka i zadowalająca. Mieszakńcy pozytywnie oceniają działania samorządu w zakresie współpracy zagranicznej. Ocena ta pokazuje, że realizowane działania w ramach zawartych porozumień są efektywne. Odpowiednio przygotowana i bogata oferta wydarzeń kulturalnych przyciąga zainteresowanie coraz większej liczby mieszkańców, a wzrost tego zaangażowania ma znaczący wpływ na rozwój kulturowy społeczności aktywnie uczestniczącej w wydarzeniach realizujących politykę partnerską.
