Opis:: As a result of the 1st partition of Poland (1772) about one milion of Catholics found themselves within the borders of the Russian Empire. The aim of the article is to show content and structure of the notations in the original metrical certificates of the Roman-Catholic Church in Vilnius Diocese (Bialystok, Grodno and Sokolka Dekanats) in the period of the Russian rule. These certificates were provided in Polish language from 1827 (before this year – in Latin), and from 1848/1849 – in Russian. Our observation shoved that not significant differencies in content and structure of metrical certificates because of the control of the Roman-Catholic Church of the process their creation.

Opis:: Projektowanie procesów wpisuje się w nurt funkcjonowania współczesnych przedsiębiorstw. Praktyka wykazuje, że analiza procesów biznesowych i ich modelowanie wpływają na efektywność działania całego przedsiębiorstwa. W artykule poruszono niektóre aspekty modelowania procesów biznesowych, w tym m.in.: etapy modelowania procesów, podstawowe wymagania związane z modelowaniem procesów, mapowanie procesów oraz narzędzia IT wspomagające projektowanie procesów biznesowych. Studium przypadku służy zaprezentowaniu szczegółowych modeli zaprojektowanych procesów biznesowych.
Process design fits in the current functioning of modern enterprises. Practice shows that the analysis of business processes and their modeling has an effect on the efficiency of the entire enterprise. The paper discusses some aspects of business process modeling including, among others, stages of process modeling, the basic requirements for process modeling, process mapping and IT tools supporting the design of business processes. The case study presents detailed models of designed business processes.

Opis:: Od 2006 r. w Instytucie Pamięci Narodowej realizowany jest program notacyjny, którego celem jest gromadzenie, opracowywanie i udostępnianie relacji ustnych dotyczących losów narodu polskiego. Nagrania te przez długi czas nie były udostępniane szerszemu gronu odbiorców. W 2017 r. rozpoczęto prace nad ogólnodostępnym Archiwum Historii Mówionej IPN, które w czerwcu 2021 r. otwarto pod adresem opowiedziane.ipn.gov.pl. Notacje zamieszczone na portalu zaopatrzone są w napisy oraz transkrypcje, które ułatwiają i przyspieszają wyszukiwanie informacji. Na stronie zamieszczono też encyklopedyczne biogramy wszystkich osób, które zdecydowały się opowiedzieć swoją historię pracownikom Wydziału Notacji i Opracowań Multimedialnych IPN. W przyszłości strona będzie rozwijana o nowe możliwości, takie jak podstrona „Nagraj własną notację”. Notacje IPN są istotnym źródłem wiedzy o przeszłości. Dzięki interdyscyplinarnemu charakterowi historii mówionej z relacji korzystać mogą badacze różnych dziedzin. Nagrania pełnią ważną rolę również dla samych świadków historii, a także dla ich najbliższego otoczenia.
Since 2006, the Institute of National Remembrance has been implementing a recording program (program notacyjny) to collect, compile and make available oral accounts of the losses of Polish people. For a long time, these recordings were not made available to a wider audience. In 2017, works began on the publicly accessible IPN Oral History Archive, which opened in June 2021 at the website: opowiedziane.ipn.gov.pl. The collection of accounts posted on the portal is provided with subtitles and transcriptions that make it easier and faster to find information. The site also includes encyclopaedic biographies of all those who made the decision to tell their story to the staff of the IPN Department of Recording and Multimedia Productions (Wydziału Notacji i Opracowań Multimedialnych). In the future, the site will be developed with new capabilities, such as a “Record your own account” subpage. This IPN collection is an important source of knowledge about the past. Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of oral history, the accounts can be used by researchers in various fields. The recordings also play an important role for the witnesses of history themselves, as well as for their immediate surroundings.

Opis:: 2018 we are commemorating the hundredth anniversary of Polish independence regained after the years of partitions of Poland. Special celebrations are on all over the country; many events are planned to be continued up to 2021 in line with, inter alia, the programme of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage named Niepodległa 2017– 2021. The article presents the results of research on the material artefacts left behind by the not easily defined historic formation of the years 1968–1989, which can be generally described as an anti-communist civil resistance in the Polish People’s Republic. The actions taken by the resistance started from the so-called March events as well as the foundation of the “Ruch” Organisation. It was followed by: the Workers’ Defence Committee, the Committee for Social Self-Defence “KOR”, the Movement for Defence of Human and Civic Rights, the Confederation of Independent Poland, the Movement of Young Poland; next came: the Independent Self-governing Labour Union “Solidarity”, the Independent Students’ Association, and many smaller organisations or parties, up to the negotiations of the so-called Round Table. The opposition to communist regime was a major factor in the process of regaining by Poland its full independence, restoration of market economy, and putting an end to censorship that had been affecting the freedom of speech. The huge amount of published prohibited materials from this historic period, the so-called second circulation, remained: books, periodicals, leaflets, photos, posters, stamps, badges, cassette tapes, as well as printing machines, duplicating machines, broadcasting equipment, and other material remains. They are presently collected by Polish museums, some of them still in the process of organisation; they are also in possession of associations and foundations as well as private owners who often create remarkable collections, e.g. Krzysztof Bronowski’s “Muzeum Wolnego Słowa” (Museum of Free Speech) containing 700 000 items that arouse interest of foreign museums. Information about the individual oppositionists, events, underground prints and organisations published in the Internet also adds to the legacy of anticommunist resistance; among the available sources are: mentioned above “Muzeum Wolnego Słowa”, Dictionary Niezależni dla Kultury 1976–1989 by the Association of Free Speech, or collection of the “Karta” Centre. The author of the article attempts to classify these collections after interviewing the representatives of relevant institutions and organisations or private owners.
W roku 2018 przypada 100. rocznica odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości po latach zaborów. Obchodzimy ją uroczyście w całym kraju, a liczne wydarzenia będą trwać aż do 2021 r., zgodnie m.in. z programem Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego Niepodległa 2017–2021. Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań zasobów spuścizny materialnej po trudno definiowalnej formacji historycznej z lat 1968–1989, którą można szeroko i ogólnie nazwać opozycją antykomunistyczną w PRL. Działania opozycji rozpoczęły się od tzw. wydarzeń marcowych i powstania Organizacji „Ruch”, potem powstawały: Komitet Obrony Robotników, Komitet Samoobrony Społecznej „KOR”, Ruch Obrony Praw Człowieka i Obywatela, Konfederacja Polski Niepodległej, Ruch Młodej Polski, następnie: Niezależny Samorządny Związek Zawodowy „Solidarność”, Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów i wiele mniejszych organizacji lub partii, aż po obrady tzw. Okrągłego Stołu. Działania opozycji przyczyniły się do odzyskania przez Polskę pełnej suwerenności, przywrócenia gospodarki rynkowej i usunięcia cenzury, ograniczającej wolność słowa. Pozostała po tym okresie olbrzymia liczba wydawnictw tzw. drugiego obiegu w postaci książek, czasopism, druków ulotnych, zdjęć, plakatów, znaczków, plakietek czy kaset magnetofonowych, ale także maszyn drukarskich, powielaczy, sprzętu nadawczego czy innych świadectw materialnych. Gromadzone są one obecnie w istniejących w Polsce muzeach, czasami dopiero się tworzących, są własnością stowarzyszeń lub fundacji, a także pozostają w rękach prywatnych, tworząc często znaczące kolekcje, jak np. Muzeum Wolnego Słowa Krzysztofa Bronowskiego – liczący ponad 700 000 pozycji zbiór, którym interesują się muzea zagraniczne. Spuścizną po opozycji są także informacje o osobach, wydarzeniach, wydawnictwach lub formacjach opozycyjnych publikowane w internecie, m.in. wspomniane już Muzeum Wolnego Słowa, Słownik Niezależni dla Kultury 1976–1989 Stowarzyszenia Wolnego Słowa czy zbiory Ośrodka „Karta”. Artykuł podejmuje próbę klasyfikacji tych zbiorów na podstawie wywiadów z przedstawicielami posiadających je instytucji, organizacji lub właścicielami kolekcji.

Opis:: Kwerenda w zbiorze notacji filmowych Europejskiego Centrum Solidarności na temat I Krajowego Zjazdu Delegatów NSZZ „Solidarność”, dostarczyła niewielu danych, dlatego zdecydowano się przeprowadzić kolejne wywiady z uczestnikami tego wydarzenia. Przyniosły one mało dotąd znane informacje o Zjeździe, pokazują tym samym wartość tematycznych notacji filmowych, skupionych wyłącznie na danym zagadnieniu. W opracowaniu autorzy zwrócili uwagę m.in. na różnice w postrzeganiu wydarzenia, wynikające z odmiennych perspektyw jego uczestników.
A source query among the collection of film records of the European Solidarity Centre aimed at obtaining information related to the 1st National Congress of Delegates of NSZZ “Solidarność” provided little or no data about the Congress, and that was the reason for conducting further interviews with participants at the event. They brought little-known information on the topic, thus showing the value of thematic film notations focused only on a given issue. The authors’ additional intention was to draw attention to the differences in the perception of events depending on the perspective.
