Opis:: Computer systems supporting the management of machines operation and maintenance in companies have been successfully applied in many branches of industry. Over the last few years these systems have been considerably transformed. It also seems that using them for operating mining machines in hard coal mines is inevitable, as maintenance generates high production costs. If implemented, the systems will allow for optimization of stocks, spare parts and materials, supplies, outsourced services as well as maintenance-repair works. Application of a system supporting the management of mining machines/equipment will also enable a better, more effective use of employees. As a result of these actions, the time needed for preparations and repair will be shortened, which will translate directly into the economic effects of mines.

Opis:: The paper aroused in answer to discussion in Mining Magazine (MM) September 2011 and July/August 2013. The paper shows that discussion given in the MM issue July/August 2013 does not fulfill expectations expressed in MM issue 2011. The presented paper is the review on maintenance that is based on condition monitoring as tool for detection of faults and failure prevention. Fault and failure are regarded as inevitable during the machine operation as the process of wear and the process of degradation. The question is, if one can influence the wear and degradation process, using condition monitoring. The paper will present technology (in reference to cited papers) which demonstrates that the use of the proper method can influence the wear and machine degradation process, using proper condition monitoring techniques and knowing scenarios of wear and degradation process, the maintenance can be rationalized. The presented paper shows possible improvements which are needed to fulfill expectations expressed in MM September 2011 and they are not taken into consideration in MM July/August 3013. These improvements can be fulfilling on the bases of object and operation supported maintenance.
Artykuł powstał w odpowiedzi na dyskusję w Mining Magazine (MM) wrzesień 2011 i lipiec/sierpień 2013. Artykuł pokazuje, że dyskusja przedstawiona w MM 2013 nie spełnia oczekiwań wyrażonych w MM wydanie 2011. Przedstawiana praca jest przeglądem na temat obsługi maszyn, która bazuje na monitorowaniu jako narzędzie dla detekcji uszkodzeń i ich zapobieganiu. Uszkodzenia są uważane jako nieuchronne w eksploatacji jako proces zużycia i degradacji. Istnieje pytanie czy można wpłynąć na proces zużycia i degradacji wykorzystując monitorowanie stanu. Artykuł przedstawił technologię (w odniesieniu do cytowanych prac), które pokazują, że wykorzystując monitorowanie i znając scenariusze zużycia i proces degradacji można racjonalizować eksploatację. Przedstawiony artykuł pokazuje możliwe ulepszenia, które są potrzebne, aby spełnić oczekiwania wyrażone w MM wrzesień 2011, a które nie są brane pod uwagę w MM 2013. Te ulepszenia mogą być spełnione na podstawie wspomagania wnioskowania wynikającego z znajomości cech obiektu i warunków eksploatacji.

Opis:: Operacje o charakterze ekspedycyjnym wiążą się z koniecznością szybkiego przerzutu do rejonu działań zarówno ukompletowanych jednostek, gotowych do użycia bezpośrednio po wysadzeniu na ląd, jak i dużych ilości sprzętu oraz środków bojowych i materiałowych. Na szczególną uwagę zasługują nowoczesne projekty wielozadaniowych okrętów desantowych, charakteryzujących się bardzo wysokimi wskaźnikami pojemności ładunkowej oraz możliwością przerzutu sił na duże odległości. Przykładem takich rozwiązań są eksploatowane przez marynarki wojenne państw członkowskich UE nowoczesne wielozadaniowe okręty desantowe klasy LHD (Landing Helicopter Dock) i LPD (Landing Platform Dock). Również na potrzeby Marynarki Wojennej RP powstały projekty uniwersalnego transportowca logistycznego (UTL) oraz wielozadaniowego okrętu wsparcia operacji sił zbrojnych (WOWOSZ).
Expeditionary operations require fast deployment to the area of operations of both units ready to commit on landing on shore and equipment, combat and material means in large quantities. Special attention should be paid to designs of multi-purpose amphibious ships characterized by high load volume coefficients as well as capability of transporting forces over long distances. An example of such solutions are modern LHD (Landing Helicopter Dock) and LPD (Landing Platform Dock) multi-purpose ships used by navies of UE member countries. Designs of a universal logistic transport ship and multipurpose combat operation support ship have been made for the needs of the Polish Navy.

Opis:: The paper presents selected issues related to process and risk management in mining companies. Opis:: The article presents the results of tests and analyses of control functions performed by a powered roof support which is the basic part of a powered longwall system. The research was based on an innovative registration and measurement system dedicated to this specific range of tests. The basic element of this system is a virtual driver. It is equipped with input and output systems to connect standard physical voltage signals. The tests were carried out on a prototype powered roof support type ZPR-15/35-POz. The presented research methodology and obtained results are an element of new research methods developed for powered support based on virtual controllers. The applied solution generates less costs than the devices currently used, while its functionality is significantly greater. The system developed by the Authors supports innovative and, to a certain extent, intelligent IT solutions for testing control elements. This developed system is suitable to be applied in a wide range of research such as diagnosis of mining machinery control elements and other industries in the near future.

Opis:: The article aims at presenting the way the perception of the essence of a contemporary operation has changed along with the changes in the international security environment and how the significance of information in combat logistics has evolved. The first part of the study comprises the synthesis of the content characterizing the international security environment and the terms defining a contemporary military operation. Opis:: Transport pertains to all functional areas of the State’s activities on every administrative level. Road transport is a very important branch of global economy and constitutes a part of the logistics network. It pertains to the transportation of cargo, items, and people. Cooperation between the branches of civilian transportation and military logistics must be the focus of continuous improvement efforts. Enhancements in this respect can serve to avoid possible failures and disruptions. The quality and availability of infrastructure plays a significant role, not only with respect to civilian, but also military assets. The condition of the vehicle is important for the safety of road transport. The provision of transport services in a military unit should mainly rely on military-civilian cooperation and effective communications. The condition of the means of transportation has been indicated as a factor influencing transport safety. Employing new technology and solutions enables constant improvements to the diagnostic system, broadening the knowledge and enhancing the skills of the motor vehicle driver in terms of proficiency in operating and maintaining the vehicle used.

Numerous statistics show that permanently dependent on alcohol is several hundred thousand people in Poland, in the various phases of the development of addiction is still a greater number of people and the hundreds of thousands and millions of people grow up in families affected by alcohol problems.Long observation of the operation of those parents in families affected by alcohol problems has led to the conclusion that these individuals have certain similar characteristics in connection with one of the spectrum of mental characteristics. It was concluded therefore theory for Adult children of alcoholics. This syndrome has quickly become of interest to many researchers.The purpose of the research work presented is to know the specifics of functioning of psychosocial people with syndrome of the DDA. For the work you have chosen method of analysis. The choice of this method was justified by the fact that the issue of the DDA is very large. Research tool were texts that have been analysed.In the first chapter of the work it has been musing on the syndrome of the DDA. Discusses the definition aspects of this syndrome in the context of the consideration of alcohol addiction. The subject of the second chapter of the work was enhanced characteristics of the syndrome of the DDA. Indicated on the specifics of functioning of the psychological, emotional and reactions of people affected by this syndrome. The third chapter is a methodological considerations work discusses the purpose of the work, and applied research methods and techniques. In the fourth chapter of the work made the characteristics of selected forms of assistance offered to people with the syndrome of the DDA. Indicated on the desirability of the use of various forms of therapeutic assistance and their effectiveness. In this chapter also made the verification of hypotheses, which allowed for promotion requests:1.Upbringing in the family affected by alcohol problems contributes to the specific characteristics of education in the child. 2. Persons with the syndrome of the DDA shall take specific roles in the family and prefer certain strategies. 3. A person raised in a family of alcohol reveal difficulties in entering into close ties and relationships. 4. With the syndrome of the DDA are such features as functioning: difficulty in articulating their needs, difficulty in communicating with other people, and reduced resistance to stress. 5. Persons with the syndrome of the DDA are threatened degraded adjusting to life in society.At work, it also showed that the negative effects of upbringing in the family with alcohol problems do not have to determine a person's life forever with the DDA. Psychotherapy is the primary method for overcoming difficulties and improve functioning.
Uzależnienie od alkoholu można obecnie zaliczyć do najważniejszych problemów społecznych w Polsce. Liczne statystyki pokazują, że trwale uzależnionych od alkoholu jest kilkaset tysięcy osób w Polsce, w różnych fazach rozwoju uzależnienia znajduje się jeszcze większa liczba osób zaś setki tysięcy i miliony osób wychowują się w rodzinach dotkniętych problemem alkoholowym.Wieloletnia obserwacja funkcjonowania osób wychowujących się w rodzinach dotkniętych problemem alkoholowym doprowadziła do wniosku, że osoby te wykazują pewne podobne cechy funkcjonowania w związku z wykształceniem się pewnego spektrum cech psychicznych. Sformułowano zatem teorię dotyczącą Dorosłych Dzieci Alkoholików. Syndrom ten szybko stał się przedmiotem zainteresowania wielu badaczy.Celem badań prezentowanej pracy jest poznanie specyfiki psychospołecznego funkcjonowania osób z syndromem DDA.Dla potrzeb pracy wybrano metodę analizy treści. Wybór tej metody uzasadniony był tym, że zagadnienie DDA ma charakter bardzo rozległy. Narzędziem badawczym były teksty, które poddano analizie. W pierwszym rozdziale pracy podjęto rozważania nad syndromem DDA. Omówiono definicyjne aspekty tego syndromu w kontekście rozważań nad uzależnieniem od alkoholu.. Przedmiotem drugiego rozdziału pracy była pogłębiona charakterystyka osób z syndromem DDA. Wskazano na specyfikę funkcjonowania psychologicznego, emocjonalnego i reakcji osób dotkniętych tym syndromem. Trzeci rozdział pracy ma charakter rozważań metodologicznych, omówiono cel pracy oraz zastosowane metody i techniki badawcze. W czwartym rozdziale pracy dokonano charakterystyki wybranych form pomocy oferowanych osobom z syndromem DDA. Wskazano na celowość stosowania różnych form pomocy terapeutycznej oraz ich efektywność. W tym rozdziale dokonano również weryfikacji hipotez badawczych, które pozwoliły na wysunięcie wniosków:1. Wychowanie w rodzinie dotkniętej problemem alkoholowym przyczynia się do wykształcenia specyficznych cech u dziecka.2. Osoby z syndromem DDA przyjmują specyficzne role w rodzinie oraz preferują pewne strategie zachowania.3. Osoby wychowane w rodzinie alkoholowej przejawiają trudności we wchodzeniu w bliskie związki i relacje.4. Z syndromem DDA powiązane są takie cechy funkcjonowania jak: trudność w wyrażaniu swoich potrzeb, trudność w komunikowaniu się z innymi ludźmi oraz zmniejszona odporność na stres.5. Osoby z syndromem DDA są zagrożone pogorszonym przystosowaniem do życia w społeczeństwie.W pracy wykazano także, że negatywne skutki wychowania w rodzinie z problemem alkoholowym nie muszą na zawsze determinować życia osoby z DDA. Psychoterapia jest podstawową metodą umożliwiającą przezwyciężenie trudności oraz poprawę funkcjonowania.

Opis:: At NTNU in Norway an 8-year research project has been established to (among other things) research the interaction between humans and unmanned, autonomous ships. The human will become even more important when ship operator will be located remotely in shore control centers ashore. This concept paper will take a closer look on remote decision-making by operators monitoring several ships. How can interface design help them to get quickly into-the-loop when something unexpected suddenly happens? I will in this paper suggest keeping a copy of the AI expert-system controlling the ship, updated and running in parallel in the control center to keep the operator’s situation awareness during short communication glitches. Also, to design a “quickly-getting-into-the-loop-display” which automatically will appear in an alarm situation, allowing the operator just-in-time and simple-to-understand information. I will also stress the important of the concept automation transparency.

Opis:: Support plans and operation schemes of mine faces are critical technical documents in underground coal mining management. The development and selection of a reasonable support plan and operation scheme of the face are complicated because they involve many factors. In specific mining conditions, developing and selecting an appropriate support plan and operation scheme will improve the working efficiency of equipment, increase labor productivity, and ensure workers' safety. This article researched a mining technology for the thin seams, focusing on coal seam 10T in Nam Khe Tam coal mine, 86 Coal Company. From the analysis of geo-mining conditions, the article developed and selected a reasonable support plan and operation scheme for the face in coal seam 10T. After being used in the field, the support plan and operation scheme have brought the face efficiency and safety.
