Opis:
Italian theater studies in 20th century focused on the theater as the art of staging a dramatic text and it’s analysis. Over the past decade, theater anthropology and performance studies make their way among these relics of the past century slowly but effectively, and the sources of the Italian performance studies are indicated in the 1960s and 1970s. Meanwhile, the interest of Italian researchers in restored behavior is reflected in texts published in-between the two world wars. The subject of the analysis are two texts by Corrado Pavolini who we consider to be a precursor of Italian performance studies.

Od transgresji jednostkowej do transgresji zbiorowej, czyli filmowe oblicza tańca.
From individual to collective transgression - various faces of dance in the cinema.

Thesis describes the issue of transgression occurring through one of the first human expressions, which is dance. These two concepts have always been related to each other, as it is visible in the dance rituals of primitive peoples from different cultures. The author uses the assumptions of psychotransgressionism, Performance studies and affective theory to emphasize how dance can lead to crossing borders in various ways. By analyzing three films (Black Swan, 2010, Suspiria, 2018 and Climax, 2018), she shows how this specific expression not only gives an aesthetic spectacle, but is also a source of transgression that takes place on many levels. The aim is to show that dance allows not only the individual to cross the boundaries, but also the collective. Moreover, it can constitute the metakinetic bond between the cinema viewer and the dancer-emitter, which through affects is able to evoke a strong emotional and physical reaction in the viewer.
Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest zagadnieniu transgresji, dokonującej się poprzez jedną z pierwszych ludzkich ekspresji, jaką jest taniec. Te dwa pojęcia od zawsze były ze sobą powiązane, co widać na przykładzie tanecznych rytuałów ludów pierwotnych pochodzących z różnych kultur. Autorka korzysta z założeń psychotransgresjonizmu, performatyki a także teorii afektywnej, by zaznaczyć, w jak różny sposób taniec może prowadzić do przekraczania granic. Analizując trzy filmy (Czarny łabędź, 2010, Suspiria, 2018 oraz Climaks, 2018) wykazuje, jak wykorzystana w nich ekspresja ruchowa nie spełnia jedynie funkcji estetycznego widowiska, ale jest również źródłem transgresji, które odbywają się na wielu poziomach. Celem pracy jest wykazanie, że taniec nie tylko pozwala na przekroczenia granic przez jednostkę, ale również i przez zbiorowość. Co więcej, może stanowić o metakinetycznej więzi między kinowym widzem a tancerzem-emiterem, która poprzez afekty jest w stanie wywołać silną emocjonalno-fizyczną reakcję u odbiorcy.

Artykuł jest częścią szerszego opracowania na temat kluczowych pojęć teorii performansu poetyckiego, w ramach którego ukazał się tekst Wprowadzenie do teorii performansu poetyckiego na Ukrainie. Historia teorii performansu. Uważa się, że w dużej mierze wielu ukraińskich badaczy zapożyczało poglądy północnoamerykańskie i zachodnioeuropejskie dotyczące nie tylko teorii, ale także historii sztuki performansu.
The article examines the formation process of the scientific field of performance studies in Ukraine since the second half of the 20th century. Analytical and synthetic methods are used based on papers by A. Bakanurskyi, D. Honcharenko, T. Hridyayeva, N. Khoma, O. Kochubeinyk, L. Komarnytska, T. Kornieieva, O. Lachko, N. Marenych, I. Nechytalyuk, M. Pashkevich , Yu. Pochynok, Ya. Shumska and I. Yatsyk. The article is part of wider research on the key terms and concepts in poetry performance theory discussed in the publication Introduction to Ukrainian Poetry Performance Theory. The History of Performance Theory. It is considered to be the case that the majority of Ukrainian scientists tend to borrow views on both performance theory and key aspects of performance history from their North American and West-European colleagues.

Taking as its starting point Ted Chiang’s novella “Story of Your Life”, the article revisits Richard Schechner’s definition of performance as a method in the context of such interdisciplinary research fields as decolonial theory and Black Studies, which search for alternatives to the Western ways of gathering and transmitting knowledge. These emerging fields not only promote situated, local knowledge practices as knowledge ecologies, interweaving theoretical and practical approaches. They also look for relational ontologies on which the concept of pluriversum (many worlds in one world) is premised to replace the hegemonic Western dualistic ontology. This encourages a verification of the method of approaching other phenomena as performances. This method, fundamental to performance studies, upholds the dichotomy between an active knowing subject and a passive known object. To subvert this binary approach scholarly writing itself has to become a sort of performance. In the article, Chiang’s novella acts as a First Contact scenario which is actualized by detailed references to scholarly works and thesis. In this way, the scenario allows for a stepwise confrontation of different research approaches, usually analysed separately and situated either in the heart of the Western paradigm or on its margins, if not entirely beyond its boundaries.

In my work, I make a comparative analysis of the two texts that are regarded as canonical for feminist thought, from the perspective of men's studies. Analysing the philosophical contexts of both the work and their mutual, multi-faceted relationship, trying to prove that against the background of feminist philosophy we can also learn a lot about the philosophical status of men, and that categories such as men and women are deeply philosophical concepts.
W mojej pracy dokonuję porównawczej analizy dwóch tekstów, uznawanych za kanoniczne dla myśli feministycznej, z perspektywy studiów męskich. Analizując konteksty filozoficzne obu prac i ich wzajemne, wielopłaszczyznowe powiązania, staram się udowodnić, że na kanwie dociekań filozofii feministycznej można dowiedzieć się również bardzo wiele na temat statusu filozoficznego mężczyzn, oraz, że takie kategorie jak kobieta i mężczyzna są głęboko filozoficznymi pojęciami.

In my thesis I raise following questions: is publication of law an utterance, is it a speech act and is it a performative speech act. To answer them, I am using tools emerging from J. L. Austin’s theory of speech acts. Due to such presentation of publication of law, it is possible to use a category of effectiveness in this context. Using is enables analysis of quality of publication of law in Polish legal system. Austin’s criterion of effectiveness of a speech act enabled me to distinct several possible infelicities in the act that is the publication of law. As in Polish legal system publication of law is a condition of its’ being in force, I found it particularly important to search for another alternative model of its’ publication that could be described as effective from the Austin’s theory point of view.
W mojej pracy stawiam sobie pytania, czy publikacja prawa jest wypowiedzią, czy jest aktem mowy oraz czy jest performatywnym aktem mowy, używając narzędzi wypracowanych w teorii performatywnych aktów mowy przez J. L. Austina. Dzięki takiemu określeniu publikacji prawa możliwe jest zastosowanie do niej kategorii skuteczności. Jej użycie pozwala zastanowić się nad jakością zastosowanych w polskim porządku prawnym rozwiązań formalnych dotyczących sposobów publikacji prawa. Austinowskie kryteria skuteczności aktu performatywnego pozwoliły mi na wyodrębnienie możliwych niefortunności w akcie publikacji prawa. Jako że z publikacją prawa w polskim systemie prawnym związana jest jego moc obowiązująca, uznałam za istotne poszukiwanie alternatywnego modelu jego publikacji, który mógłby zostać określony jako skuteczny z punktu widzenia teorii Austina.

Przyjmując jako punkt wyjścia opowiadanie Teda Chianga Story of Your Life, tekst przedstawia zmodyfikowaną definicję performansu jako metody Richarda Schechnera w kontekście takich nurtów badań, jak studia dekolonialne i Black Studies, alternatywnych wobec zachodnich praktyk gromadzenia i przekazywania wiedzy. Coraz częściej proponują one nie tylko sytuowane, lokalne praktyki poznania w formie ekologii wiedz, łączących teorię z praktyką, lecz także postulują zastąpienie zachodniej ontologii dualistycznej przez ontologie relacyjne jako podstawę koncepcji wieloświata (pluriversum). Zmusza to do weryfikacji istotnej dla performatyki postawy badania innych zjawisk jako performansu, gdyż podtrzymuje ona binarny podział na aktywny podmiot poznający i bierny przedmiot poznania. Aby przezwyciężyć ten podział, samo pisanie staje się rodzajem performansu. Opowiadanie Chianga służy tu jako aktualizowany przy pomocy przywołań konkretnych prac i ustaleń scenariusz spotkania z Innym, który dzięki temu umożliwia i porządkuje konfrontację odmiennych propozycji badawczych, zwykle analizowanych odrębnie - w ramach zachodniego paradygmatu lub na jego antypodach.
