Opis:: The paper focuses on issues associated with the ecodesign of household appliances. The authors describe the estimation of recycling cost of end-of-life products using their original system supporting ecodesign. The cost estimate was conducted during product design stage using the information stored in CAD 3D system. A sample estimate was made for a washing machine, fridge, kettle, and a hairdryer.

Opis:: In the paper the issue of ecological-oriented product design is addressed. The definitions that concern product design are listed and the factors that make them important for the manufacturers are indicated. The method of ecological-oriented product assessment during the design process (implemented in the 3D CAD system), drawn-up by authors, is used for the analysis. The assessment of real household appliance using the method is presented and the conclusions from the evaluation are drawn.

Opis:: In the paper product and design process modeling on the basis of speed reducer is presented. The paper proposes to build the product and process models and parallel to that carry out the project activities as these models reflect the detailed structure of the projects. The most important feature of the proposed approach is its possibility to model only important parts of the models and to keep track of the development of their chronological paths. The approach may be treated as a partial CPM/MOKA model or as network-integrated CPM/MOKA models.

Opis:: Forced to develop the online component of the sales strategy, small and medium business requires well-designed information systems and technologies, that will fulfill all the needs and allow working in an actual – distant – business environment. Using digital platforms sometimes became a matter of need for coffee trading. Although digital marketplaces exist in a variety of branches, the specialized platform seems to be the better choice for coffee products sales because of its international specifics. Modeling the process of tasks performing in the information system of coffee products sales, its dynamic aspects, time-ordered interaction of objects in it, will allow designing thoroughly thought out information system, realized with actual software methods and means.

Opis:: It is examined an approach to the analytical tools construction of marketing of the enterprise designed to select the optimal assortment, sales volume, market segments and product prices and based on the use of the operations research methods and optimal software systems. Is proposed a model of nonlinear integer programming with variables of continuous and boolean type, which allows to plan production of existing and new products. To analyse the optimization model is proposed using of heuristic algorithm based on iterative increase in products prices and solution of the linear integer programming task by method of Land and Doig at each step of changing prices.

Opis:: The management problem is especially important due to the risk of enterprise bankruptcy under a market economy. Management by a business risk and to economic stability and safety of enterprise. Now, different methods are used in order that to prevent enterprises’ bankruptcy on the basis of prognoses and safety of risk methods, among from that, maybe, would be marked the following to those: method of DuPont, model of Altman, model of Olson, statistical methods well-known as the “Winnings” methods. The practical use of these models gave us a high result in case of small and middle enterprise. In every model the used discoveries are undertaken from the documents of the official financial reporting. The article analyzes mathematical methods and algorithms used to evaluate financial stability of an enterprise, such as the Altman Z-Score model. The models are designed to evaluate enterprise bankruptcy risks. The central concept is evaluation of the enterprise bankruptcy risk and presentation of an automated risk calculation system.

Opis:: Research background Growing global concerns about pollution and environmental degradation have heightened interest in eco-friendly, sustainable, and green consumption. As individuals become more environmentally conscious, they adopt “green” lifestyles as part of their responsibility toward sustainability. Purpose This study examines whether environmental knowledge influences green purchasing behavior, focusing on students from 11 universities affected by the 2023 earthquake in Türkiye. Through a survey of 390 respondents, the research explores the link between green purchasing behavior and environmental knowledge to understand consumer awareness in post-disaster settings. Research methodology A questionnaire survey was conducted with 390 participants. Scale reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha in SPSS, while a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) in AMOS ensured validity. Structural equation modeling (SEM) in AMOS analyzed variable correlations within the research model. Results The findings reveal that higher environmental knowledge significantly enhances green purchasing behavior, suggesting that informed consumers are more likely to engage in sustainable purchasing. Novelty This study contributes to the literature by investigating the link between environmental knowledge and green purchasing in a post-disaster context. Using data from students at 11 earthquake- affected universities in Türkiye, it underscores the need to increase consumer awareness of sustainability.

Opis:: Background: Achieving and maintaining a strategic competitive advantage through business and technology innovation via continually improving effectiveness and efficiency of the operations are the critical survival factors for software-intensive product development companies. These companies invest in business modeling and tool support for integrating business models into their product development, but remain uncertain, if such investments generate desired results. Aim: This study explores the effects of business modeling on effectiveness and efficiency for companies developing software-intensive products. Method: We conducted a Systematic Literature Review using the snowballing methodology, followed by thematic and narrative analysis. 57 papers were selected for analysis and synthesis, after screening 16320 papers from multiple research fields. Results: We analyzed the literature based on purpose, benefit, challenge, effectiveness, and efficiency with software and software-intensive products as the unit of analysis. The alignment between strategy and execution is the primary challenge, and we found no evidence that business modeling increases effectiveness and efficiency for a company. Any outcome variations may simply be a result of fluctuating contextual or environmental factors rather than the application of a specific business modeling method. Therefore, we argue that governance is the fundamental challenge needed for business modeling, as it must efficiently support simultaneous experimentation with products and business models while turning experiences into knowledge. Conclusion: We propose a conceptual governance model for exploring the effectiveness and efficiency of business modeling to occupy the missing link between business strategy, processes and software tools. We also recommend managers to introduce a systematic approach for experimentation and organizational learning, collaboration, and value co-creation.

Opis:: W celu zapewnienia zadowalająco niskiej niepewności modeli matematycznych stosowanych do opisu procesu suszenia produktów rolniczych niezbędne okazuje się wyznaczenie wartości ich współczynników. Można to uczynić na drodze modelowania odwrotnego, z użyciem odpowiednio dobranego algorytmu optymalizacji. Ważną grupę takich algorytmów stanowią algorytmy optymalizacji globalnej, takie jak: symulowane wyżarzanie, przeszukiwanie z tabu i algorytm genetyczny. W pracy porównano te trzy algorytmy w zastosowaniu do modelowania odwrotnego procesów suszenia produktów rolniczych i określono ich przydatność w uzyskiwaniu wyników obarczonych najmniejszą niepewnością w najkrótszym czasie.
To attain a satisfactorily low level of uncertainty for mathematical models used to describe drying processes of agricultural products it is essential to determine values of their coefficients. It can be done in a process of inverse modeling, with the use of adequately selected optimization algorithm. Global optimization algorithms, like simulated annealing, tabu search and genetic algorithm are of particular interest. In the paper all the three algorithms were compared in inverse modeling of drying of agricultural products. Their usefulness was estimated in obtaining results of the lowest uncertainty in the shortest time.
