Opis:: Support of planning heat treatment processes in small batch production is very complex. In the analysed case, the bottlenecks of the processes were located on heat treatment. The difficulty in planning is due to necessity of adapting available resources to changing demand requirements. In the conditions of unit production crucial role plays changeovers time, availability of resources and cost of processing. Due to NP- difficult nature of optimization a simplified method was used. It was a complex of theory of constraints and dynamic task grouping. This is one of the attempts to solve the supporting process production problem with a method enabling its practical use.

Opis:: Dynamics on the market makes, that search for more effective solutions in planning the production flow. Opportunities, which open the market for companies, as new basis of cooperation, have to go hand in hand with the flexibility and ability to adapt to the requirements of the environment. The problem of scheduling production flow is more complicated, because the virtual manufacturing network create a single organizations, geographically dispersed, functioning temporarily, as a one body, to realize the effect an order. In the whole production planning and choosing the route from alternative routes should be considered still a problem of transport between the participants in the virtual network. To planning the flow production and choice of route used formalisms derived from game theory. The article presents the record of the decision problem for the production model in which the role players perform the goal functions. This functions have specific strategies and endeavour to win. The choice of strategy depends on which player starts the first game. Further work will be associated with the analysis of the impact of different combinations of strategies on the results of the game, with certain restrictions, as well as attempts to implement formalism to choose strategies in mixed strategies.

Główny problem badawczy odnosi się do procesów produkcyjnych a także metod i technik wykorzystywanych w planowaniu produkcji. Zestawienie to poruszone zostało zarówno w ujęciu systemów klasycznych wraz z ocenami wartościującymi; skuteczności i efektywności a także rozwiązań nowoczesnych zdobywających coraz większe uznanie na arenie międzynarodowej. Analiza prowadzona jest na przykładzie spółki Black Red White lidera polskiej branży meblowej. Zestawienie to dokonane zostało na podstawie moich długoletnich obserwacji jako praktyka w poszerzeniu o zgromadzoną wiedzę w czasie odbywania studiów a także w oparciu o literaturę fachową przedmiotu w szczególności: „Strategię organizacji” autorstwa Krzysztofa Obłoja, „Zarządzanie produkcją” pióra Edwarda Pająka, „Podstawy ekonomiki przedsiębiorstwa” Jana Duraja, pracę zbiorową Józefa Gawlika, Jarosława Plichty, Antoniego Świca na temat „Procesów produkcyjnych”, „Zarządzanie produkcją i usługą” Alana Muhlemanna, Johna Oaklanda, Keith Lockyer.
Content of this diploma thesis „Production planning in production company” raises and explains issues connected with company from the economic and legal as well as organizational angle. It discusses rules related to managing of basic activity of productive companies – production department. The main research problem applies to production processes and also methods and techniques used in production planning. This specification was taken up both in the sense of classic systems together with grading assessments of effectiveness and efficiency and modern solutions gaining more and more recognition in international scale. Analysis is being performed on the example of Black Red White company, the leader of Polish furniture business. My thesis discusses methods and rules of production planning, techniques of improving production system functioning. It raises, on the one hand, barriers which people managing processes may meet while carrying out their tasks and on the other hand factors supporting effective planning. This specification was accomplished on the basis of many years of my observations as practitioner and gained knowledge while studies as well as on the basis of professional subject literature especially: „Strategię organizacji” by Krzysztof Obłój, „Zarządzanie produkcją” by Edward Pająk, „Podstawy ekonomiki przedsiębiorstwa” Jan Duraj, collective work of Józef Gawlik, Jarosław Plichta, Antoni Świca about „Procesów produkcyjnych”, „Zarządzanie produkcją i usługą” Alan Muhleman, John Oakland, Keith Lockyer.

Opis:: In this article conclusions from nearly 10 years of collaboration with Polish and German Engineer-to-Order (ETO) small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from mechanical sector was presented. Research objective was to highlight common organizational problems they are dealing with, which prevent them from transition to Mass Customizers. As a result, a concept of 5 foundations for robust process design was proposed: procedures, product selection, machining philosophy, planning and storage, cross-functional teams. More practical solutions from this field have to be published to fill the research gap.

Opis:: Risk is an issue of interdisciplinary character and accompanies all actions undertaken in companies, e.g. projects. Identification and assessment of risk is an important issue, but at the same time it is particularly difficult in actions of unique character such as projects. This article identifies exogenous and endogenous risk factors that affect successful project implementation. Six risk-generating areas were defined to identify and assess ex-ante risks in the project: project environment, client and contract, suppliers, organization maturity and a project team. Each one of them was assigned analytical criteria and a method for their assessment. Empirical verification was made based on an example of a manufacturing process. The proposed method is a support for project managers in a process of decision-making and for actions undertaken by managers aimed at reduction of risk in a project, especially at a stage of its preparation.

Opis:: The article is to present the application of genetic algorithm in production scheduling in a production company. In the research work the assumptions of the methodology were described and the operation of the proposed genetic algorithm was presented in details. Genetic algorithms are useful in complex large scale combinatorial optimisation tasks and in the engineering tasks with numerous limitations in the production engineering. Moreover, they are more reliable than the existing direct search algorithms. The research is focused on the effectivity improvement and on the methodology of scheduling of a manufacturing cell work. The genetic algorithm used in the work appeared to be robust and fast in finding accurate solutions. It was shown by experiment that using this method enables obtaining schedules suitable for a model. It gives a group of solutions that are at least as good as those created by the heuristic rules.

Opis:: W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań charakterystyki planowania na poziomie taktycznym w przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych wraz z wnioskami płynącymi z analizy tego zjawiska w perspektywie realizowanej strategii produkcyjnej (MTS, MTO, ETO, QR). Badania przeprowadzono na próbie 149 przedsiębiorstw (małych, średnich i dużych) mających swoje siedziby na terenie Polski. W celu lepszego zdefiniowania problemu postawiono trzy hipotezy badawcze. Na potrzeby ich weryfikacji opracowano autorską metodykę opartą o analizę korelacji oraz współczynnik podobieństwa organizacyjno-technologicznego. W treści zawarto jej opis i wyniki zastosowania zmierzające do weryfikacji postawionych hipotez. Zgodnie z tym udowodniono, że realizowana strategia produkcyjna ma wpływ na charakterystykę procesów planowania oraz problemy mające swoje przyczyny w tym obszarze. Nie można jednak stwierdzić, że strategia produkcyjna ma związek ze strukturą realizowanych procesów planowania.
In this article results of the characteristics of planning at the tactical level in manufacturing companies are presented. Conclusions of the analysis carried out in the perspective of production strategy (MTS, MTO, ETO, QR). The study was conducted on a sample of 149 companies (small medium and large) with headquarter in Poland. In order to better define the problem erected three hypotheses. For the purpose of verification developed an original methodology based on the analysis of correlation and similarity coefficient organizational and technological. The text contains a description and results of the application of measures to verify the hypotheses. Accordingly it is proven that production strategies have an influence the characteristics of the planning and the problems which have their cause in the area. But you can not say that production strategy is related to the structure of the processes of planning.

Praca opiera się na analizie zakłóceń występujących w przykładowym przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym na przestrzeni roku. W artykule zaprezentowano metodykę pracy wraz z omówieniem uzyskanych wyników. Kluczowym elementem pracy było poprawne zdiagnozowanie i przeanalizowanie zakłóceń występujących w poszczególnych działach, tygodniach i na liniach oraz wsunięcie właściwych wniosków pozwalających na zaproponowanie realnych i skutecznych usprawnień eliminujących zakłócenia procesu produkcji.
The theme of this article is analysis of disruption in production process at the chosen example in the context of improving the implementation of the production plan. The work contain analysis in the chosen production company over the year. The article presents the methodology of work with the discussion of the obtained results. The most important element in this work was to exactly analyse and correctly diagnose disruptions in the departments, weeks and production lines to get right conclusions which allow to propose practical and effective improvements which eliminate disruptions in production process.
