Opis:
The issue of initial and further training of geography teachers seems to be relevant everywhere where teaching faculty is currently offered. This paper presents discussion, reflection and research results on the widely understood process of initial and further training of future geography teachers in the context of academic work of professor Jan Flis, especially regarding the problem of pedagogization of teaching faculty at universities (Flis 1984) understood as supplementing the faculty training with psychological and didactic subjects. This problem seems to be relevant and should be constantly taken into account especially in the face of occurring reforms in concepts of studies and changes in syllabuses of geographical studies, especially those with teaching faculties. At the same time teaching studies should be vocational studies and they should prepare for the profession of a geography teacher or a geographer – teacher. Academic and organizational work of professor Jan Flis became the ground for numerous remarks and reflection on faculties, trends and also on the organization of training at teaching faculty of geographical studies, as well as on developing competencies of future teachers.

Opis:
The subject of this paper is vocational education in vocational high schools in Poland and its aim is to argue that presently vocational high schools fail at providing their students with qualifications necessary to work in their profession of choice. The problem is important as the unemployment rate among young people is high while the employers claim there is a deficit of qualified workforce on the labour market. The paper presents the results of a survey carried out among vocational high school students which showed that 95 % of students believe that 4 weeks of apprenticeships is insufficient. Given the opinions of the employers and the results of the survey among the vocational high school students, it seems surprising that the changes made to the vocational core curriculum were not more substantial.

Wzory osobowe mają duży wpływ na formowanie się młodego człowieka, w tym również kandydata do zawodu nauczyciela. Wynika to z rozwojowej potrzeby posiadania wzorca w zakresie formowanego systemu wartości, postaw, zachowań i cech osobowych. Posiadanie wzorców osobowych jest też ważne z perspektywy kształcenia do zawodu nauczyciela, rozwoju kompetencji zawodowych oraz kształtowania się tożsamości. W artykule skoncentrowano się na wzorach osobowych nauczycieli obecnych w doświadczeniach osobistych kandydatów do tego zawodu. Celem badań było określenie wzorca nauczyciela (kategorie i cechy w obrębie celów życiowych, motywów działań i zachowań oraz cech osobowych) obecnego w życiu przyszłych nauczycieli szkół artystycznych. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że studenci uczelni artystycznej posiadają wciąż obecne i warunkujące rozwój wzorce osobowe w postaci nauczycieli ze szkół artystycznych.
Personal patterns have a great influence on the formation of a young person, including a candidate for the teaching profession. This is effect to the developmental need to have a pattern in the formed system of values, attitudes, behaviours and personal characteristics. Having personal patterns is also important from the perspective of training for the teaching profession, developing professional competences and shaping identity. The article focuses on the personal models of teachers present in the personal experiences of candidates for this profession. The aim of the research was to determine the teacher’s pattern (categories and characteristics within life goals, motives for actions and behaviours and personal characteristics) present in the lives of future teachers of art schools. The conducted research shows that students of an art university still have the current personal patterns that determine their development in the form of teachers from art schools.

Celem pracy jest poszukiwania odpowiedzi na pytanie: ,,Kim jest mediator?” Analizie został podany zawód mediatora w kontekście relacji mediator - prawnik. Do pracy została postawiona teza, że mediator powinien posiadać podstawową wiedzę z odpowiedniej dziedziny prawa, umiejętności praktyczne oraz wiedzę z psychologii, socjologii i ekonomii. Praca została podzielona na trzy rozdziały. Rozdział pierwszy opisuje krajowe regulacji prawne dotyczący mediatora. W tym celu analizowano treść Kodeksu postępowania administracyjnego, Kodeksu postępowania karnego, Ustawy o postępowaniu w sprawach nieletnich, Kodeksu postępowania cywilnego, Ustawy Prawo o ustroju sądów powszechnych oraz Rozporządzenia Ministra Sprawiedliwości w sprawie prowadzenia listy stałych mediatorów. W drugim rozdziale analizowano zawód mediatora na podstawie tzw. prawa miękkiego poprzez poszczególne kodeksy etyczne i standardy dotyczące mediacji. Trzeci rozdział zawiera analizę wyników z badań empirycznych jakościowych i ilościowych uzyskanych w trakcie wywiadów i ankiet na podstawie Raportu z badań w zakresie potrzeb i oczekiwań społecznych dotyczących Krajowego Rejestru Mediatorów oraz luk kompetencyjnych w zakresie szkoleń mediatorów.
The aim of the work is to search for an answer to the question: "Who is a mediator?" The analysis presents the mediator's profession in the context of the mediator-lawyer relationship. The thesis was put forward that the mediator should have basic knowledge in the relevant field of law, practical skills and knowledge of psychology, sociology and economics. The work has been divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the national legal regulations concerning the mediator. For this purpose, the contents of the Administrative Procedure Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Act on Juvenile Proceedings, the Code of Civil Procedure, the Law on the System of Common Courts and the Regulation of the Minister of Justice on maintaining a list of permanent mediators were analyzed. The second chapter analyzes the profession of a mediator on the basis of the so-called soft law through individual codes of ethics and mediation standards. The third chapter contains an analysis of the results of empirical qualitative and quantitative research obtained during interviews and surveys based on the Report on research in the field of social needs and expectations regarding the National Register of Mediators and competence gaps in the field of mediator training.

Aim. In Turkey, in connection with the Bologna process, German is also taught in Turkish universities as an elective course. There is an important relationship between the selection of the subject in the elective German courses, detailed planning of the courses, and the implementation of the appropriate method. In this study, the subject of professions was planned for the elective German courses. The purpose of this study is the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a sample lesson to describe the selection of the subject of professions for the German course taught as an elective course in the universities. Concept and Methods. This study was conducted by qualitative research. The document research technique was used in the study (Yıldırım & Şimşek, 2008). During the 2018/2019 academic year, I taught about the subject of profession selection in my German courses. I prepared, implemented and evaluated the subject of professions according to the lesson planning model I had previously developed (Coşkun, 2018). I prepared the materials used in this course according to this model. Result and Conclusion. The success of the lesson planning model mentioned above was also observed in the activities conducted earlier. It was also seen that the students who attended German courses in connection with the Bologna process exerted efforts in establishing contact with the instructor and the students attending the class. It was observed that the participants introduced themselves, mentioned the field or the branch in the university where they were studying, and were interested to gain experience abroad in order to be successful in their professions. In addition to the subject discussed in the class, the method implemented in the lesson and the planning of the lesson according to the method, play an important role in the continuation of this interest. Therefore, effective lesson planning models and unique methods should be developed. Origin. Students from all the departments of the university may attend the elective German language classes opened in connection with the Bologna process. The condition for participation in the courses “German for Erasmus” and “German for Communication” which I teach, is to learn German at the A1 level. It is frequently observed that the participants speak German at different levels. The overseas experience of the participants, the quality of the German and other language education they had received from primary to high school and university play an important role in this. In the recent years, the number of participants from German and other foreign language speaking countries has increased. The students who had been in German-speaking countries under the Erasmus program participate in the German courses also to maintain their fluency in the German language. In order to execute the German courses effectively for different purposes, for different fields and participants coming from different countries and students with different levels of fluency, a suitable method should be developed. It is believed that this inter-disciplinary study will contribute to the active German courses.

The present study introduces – from a certain point of view - the Hungarian version of the competence-based pedagogy training that meets the current EU expectations. This competence-based training shows several results of projects that aim at developing pedagogy talents and focus on professionalism, emphasizing the importance of professional motivation. This training form, using the developing method of identifying oneself with the teaching profession, tries to discover what prior and what available and what kind of new motivational factors - during the active period of teacher training - assure successful preparation for effective and qualitative professional activity.

The international movement of people, services, goods and capital has contributed to demand for cross-border cooperation among lawyers. The lack of harmonised rules for the practice of these professions at the supranational level prompts a search for differences and similarities in the rules for different countries. Advocates and legal advisors are professions of public trust, the practice of which involves an obligation to respect certain ethical and deontological rules of the profession. The lack of universally binding rules at the EU level means that each Member State decides independently what rules guarantee this profession is practiced correctly and in the public interest. The purpose of this article is to analyse and compare the Polish and German provisions on exercising the profession of advocate/legal advisor in terms of fulfilling the obligation of professional training and continuous improvement of qualifications. The authors conclude that despite some systemic differences, the rules for practising the profession in both countries provide a guarantee of legal services being rendered in accordance with the highest standards of knowledge and ethics. A special element distinguishing the German and Polish legal profession is the existence of a category of ‘Fachanwlat’, i.e. lawyer-specialists in a particular field. In Poland, there are no separate categories of lawyer-specialists, although within the framework of non-normative practice, attorneys independently choose their areas of specialization. However, this is not done in a formalised manner, as it is in Germany. German attorneys who have successfully completed a specialized theoretical course and have a certain number of hours worked in a particular specialization can obtain the title of Fachanwalt. In Poland, the issue of specialization within the advocacy/advocacy profession has not yet been legally regulated.

Many surveys have confirmed that teachers have a major influence on student behaviour. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether future teachers have knowledge and awareness of their own potential contribution to student (mis) behaviour. If they have such knowledge and become aware of such an influence, they can help to decrease it. For the analysis, data were collected from 170 students from the Faculty of Education. Although most students in our study ascribe the major responsibility for student misbehaviour to parents, our study also shows that future teachers do realise that responsibility for student misbehaviour cannot be ascribed to one factor alone but to many factors, including circumstances connected with school. School can cause misbehaviour mainly by inconsistency, boring lessons and indulgent discipline. Future teachers would like to acquire more knowledge of and experience in facing student misbehaviour, especially in the field of working with difficult students and their parents, as well as conflict resolution.

Occupational safety and health becomes a more and more important component of the organization for it ensures continuous positive growth and improvement of productivity, and general efficiency. In order to implement an efficient management system, the C.E.O. must pay special attention to this domain in order to avoid important risks and undesired events with tragic consequences. Thus, every organization needs properly trained staff, in order to accomplish all the purposes in this field. Therefore, the paper aims to do an analysis of the possibilities to develop a career in work safety and security, based on competences, in order to establish the real importance and attention paid to this activity area.
Bezpieczeństwo i higiena pracy staje się coraz bardziej istotnym elementem organizacji, gdyż zapewnia stały, dodatni wzrost i poprawę wydajności i ogólnej sprawności. W celu wdrożenia skutecznego systemu zarządzania, prezes musi zwrócić szczególną uwagę w tym obszarze, w celu uniknięcia istotnych zagrożeń i niepożądanych zdarzeń z tragicznymi konsekwencjami. Tak więc, każda organizacja potrzebuje odpowiednio wyszkolonego personelu, aby osiągnąć wszystkie cele w tej dziedzinie. W związku z tym, że celem artykułu jest analiza możliwości rozwoju zawodowego w dziedzinie bezpieczeństwa pracy i ochrony, w oparciu o kompetencje, której celem jest ustalenie rzeczywistego znaczenia i uwagi poświęconej temu obszarowi działalności.

W dobie współczesnej gospodarki opartej na wiedzy niezwykle istotnym zadaniem jest permanentna ocena efektywności kształcenia. Dlatego celem prezentowanego artykułu jest przedstawienie systemu kształcenia zawodowego dla branży transportowej oraz logistycznej na poziomie szkoły średniej wraz z jego oceną skuteczności kształcenia w aspekcie osiąganych efektów przez uczniów/słuchaczy w postaci poziomu zdawalności egzaminów potwierdzających kwalifikacje zawodowe. Zderzenie tych dwóch elementów pozwoliło na sformułowanie licznych istotnych wniosków. Artykuł powstał na podstawie analizy dokumentów formalno-prawnych oraz aktów normatywnych obowiązujących w opisywanym obszarze.
In the era of modern knowledge-based economy, it is not usually an important task to constantly assess the effectiveness of education. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to present the vocational education system for the transport and logistics at the high school level along with its assessment of the effectiveness of education in terms of achieved effects by students / learners in the form of pass rate exams confirming professional qualifications. The clash of these two elements allowed for the formulation of a number of important conclusions. The article was based on the analysis of formal and legal documents and normative acts applicable in the area described.
