Opis:: The Positive–Negative Relationship Quality (PN-RQ) scale is used to test the quality of close relationships, taking into account their positive and negative dimensions. The aim of our study was to check the factor structure and criterion validity of the Polish version of this scale, and the possibilities offered by two-dimensional estimation of relationship quality. The validation study involved 740 people (369 female and 371 male) who were in romantic relationships. In addition to the PN-RQ scale, the respondents completed two other relationship quality measures: the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) and the Experiences in Close Relationships (ECR) attachment questionnaire. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that the bi-factor model is suitable for the multidimensional nature of PN-RQ. The results showed the following: high internal consistency of the subscales and the entire scale; compliance with the results obtained with RAS; the possibility of a nuanced assessment of the quality of close relationships, also taking into account the unique differences that arise as a result of anxious or avoidant attachment. The Polish version of the PN-RQ scale is characterized by good psychometric properties and measurement sensitivity; it could be useful in both research and clinical diagnostics.

Opis:: One factor in the field of relationships to banks is the so-called relationship banking, which is a well-known practice in the bank oriented economies in Europe. Relationship banking means a long run relationship between one or a small number of banks to firms, especially in lending, so the terminus is in this field relationship lending. On the basis of a huge telephonequestionnaire in Poland concerning financial management we have tried to answer some research questions in the field of relationship banking in detail in order to bring light into this somewhat dark area of relationships between banks and firms. The main aspect of relationship banking is the duration of this relationship. Using empirical methodology, we analyse this relationship on the basis of the length of time as well as aspects such as the age of the firm, the number of bank relationships, the industry, the influence of strategies and the access to credits.

Opis:: The management of the value of an enterprise’s relationship with market stakeholders consists in a well thought-out and organized creation of this value. The value of the relationship is generated through the delivery of relationship forging processes. A variety of factors affect these processes. Some of these factors are relational because they are affected by enterprises and their market stakeholders and directly affect the conditions and the course of the relationship. Knowledge of these factors and their importance in supporting the processes of winning, satisfying and retaining market stakeholders helps manage the value of relationships. The objective of this paper are theoretical considerations about the process of creating the relationships of enterprises with market stakeholders and empirical identification of the significance of relational factors that support this process. In order to achieve the objective the subject literature was studied and empirical research was conducted on 102 enterprises in Poland. The empirical studies have shown that relational factors that support the processes of forging of a relationship refer to the economic, strategic, behavioral and product dimensions of the relationship’s value.

Tytuł:: Romantic relationships begun on the internet - the analysis of chosen factors

Opis:: The present work concerns the psychological aspects of virtual romantic relationships transferred to reality. Specific of this type of relation permits to judge, that certain factors have special meaning. It was analyzed chosen factors in work, such as: length of online contact, cyberlove, accelerated pace of development of intimacy, metacomunication. Also it was analyzed circumstances of first meeting in real world as well as functioning relationship in offline phase. In the study took part 5 pairs, which began their romantic relationship on the internet and successfully transferred it to the real world. The categorized interview regards above-mentioned group of factors was conducted with each person of the pair. They also filled The Inventory of Personality NEO-PI-R. Their profiles of the personality characterized with certain similarities in range of specific components of personality. The founded relationship of components of personality with feeling of satisfaction in the relationship was confirmed only partly.
Niniejsza praca dotyczy psychologicznych aspektów wirtualnych związków romantycznych przeniesionych do rzeczywistości. Specyfika tego typu relacji pozwala sądzić, iż pewne czynniki mają szczególne znaczenie. W pracy analizowano wybrane czynniki: długość kontaktu online, cybermiłość, przyspieszone tempo rozwoju intymności, metakomunikacja. Przeanalizowano również okoliczności pierwszego spotkania w świecie rzeczywistym oraz funkcjonowanie związku w fazie offline. W badaniu wzięło udział 5 par, które zaczęły swój związek romantyczny w internecie i z powodzeniem przeniosły go do realu. Z osobami został przeprowadzony skategoryzowany wywiad dotyczący wyżej wymienionych czynników. Badani wypełniali także Inwentarz Osobowości NEO–PI–R. Profile osobowości osób badanych charakteryzowały się pewnymi podobieństwami w zakresie konkretnych składników osobowości. Zakładany związek komponentów osobowości z poczuciem satysfakcji i zadowolenia ze związku potwierdził się jedynie częściowo.

Opis:: The article analyses relationship patterns as predictors of relationship status (having vs not having a partner) among female university students. Inner relationship patterns were identified on the basis of written statements on significant relations. The statements were obtained through the Relationship Anecdotes Paradigm (RAP), which allows the acquisition of autobiographic records of narrative nature on personally significant interpersonal relations. The results of the analysis based on the concept of Core Conflictual Relationship Theme (CCRT) helped predict whether a respondent has a partner thanks to only one category of relationship patterns – the desire of the self to feel well and comfortably, to have a sense of stability, to feel happy and self-satisfied, triggered in the context of referring to a significant interpersonal relation in the narratives. The other aspects of the patterns – responses of the other to the self’s desire and the response of the self to the reactions of the other – do not markedly affect the prediction of the relationship status.

Opis:: Analysis of terms ‘social relationship’ and ‘legal relationship’ in the literature of legal theory and legal philosophy encounters many difficulties especially because of the ambiguity of such terms as ‘law’, ‘positive (statutory) law’, ‘rule’, ‘legal rule’, ‘norm’ and ‘legal norm’. Insight into the mentioned above literature points out that particularly the former pair of these notions have been so far wrongly considered as equivalent. It does not result a correct description of the relationship between different normative social systems such as statutory (positive) law, morality, religion and customs. Next it translates into a numbers of disputes about the content of positive law both in law-making’ and law-applying’s decisions.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie stanowiska wychowawców Służby Więziennej na temat znaczenia relacji z osadzonymi dla optymalizacji prowadzonych działań naprawczych. Artykuł składa się z dwóch głównych części. W pierwszej przedstawione zostały założenia teoretyczne dotyczące kategorii „relacji wychowawczej” H. Nohla, które następnie zostały odniesione do specyfiki środowiska resocjalizacyjnego. Wynikiem tego działania jest przedstawienie teoretycznych podstaw „relacji resocjalizacyjnej” oraz jej zoperacjonalizowanych obszarów. W drugiej części artykułu zostały zaprezentowane wyniki przeprowadzonych badań oraz wnioski i postulaty pedagogiczne.
The aim of the article is to present the view of prison service tutors on the importance of relations with prisoners for the optimization of correctional actions. The article consists of two main parts. The first one will present theoretical assumptions concerning the “educational relationship” category after H. Nohl, which will then be related to the specificity of the resocialisation environment. This will result in the depiction of the new category “resocialisation relationship” and its operationalised areas. In the second part of the article the results of the conducted research will be shown as well as conclusions and pedagogical postulates.
