Opis:: The sense of security is the subject of scientific research and is analyzed by various government institutions and non-governmental organizations. In the research context, it refers to both the subjective feeling of individual security and social security. The results of individual studies should be a source of inspiration for political decision-makers and people in power, both at the government and local levels, in the process of developing programs for shaping security in local communities. A high level of subjective sense of security directly affects the quality of social and individual life. In addition, test results can play an important role in assessing the accuracy of diagnosis, helping to identify the most important concerns of the individual and society. This information is necessary to effectively shape strategies aimed at improving the quality of life and safety of citizens.

Opis:: The world, as well as Poland, can pride itself on its numerous achievements in the aspect of development of science, culture and widely perceived civilization. We use many of these ‘achievements’ on a regular basis, mostly without even a single after-thought that they would not have been available to us if we had been born 2–3 generations earlier. At the same time, the contemporary human-beings seem to be unaware of the high prize that they need to pay for the progress of the civilization as — except for its undisputed benefits — it involves certain degree of inevitable dangers. We cannot pretend that they do not exist or that they do not concern us. We all have to face them to different extents. The dangers that are more or less real for the contemporary Poles can be categorized as ecological, climatic (including the floods or catastrophic hurricanes affecting our country, increasing pollution of the natural environment, lack of room for storing waste or burying the dead), social (including the unemployment — especially the long term one; increasing poverty of the society; on the other hand growing bipolarity of the material statuses, increasing secularization of the society that declares itself as the catholic, one which results in depreciation of many values, norms or ideals; eventually discrimination of every kind of difference), civilisational dangers connected with the progress of technology (diseases such as cancer or allergies, information about the armaments or epidemics in the neighbouring countries, increasing number of the transport accidents; preparations for the construction of the nuclear power plants or the fear of the terrorism present in the world); finally the individual dangers which can be described as deviations. The aim of the author was not only to categorize the present dangers, but to define their real and potential consequences both in the social and individual aspect.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is to analyze the impact of the war in Ukraine on different sectors of Poland’s security and the sense of security of Polish citizens. To allow a broader discussion on the issue, the article starts with a definition of security and how this notion can be divided into different types. This is followed by a brief overview of Poland’s relations with Russia and an analysis of the main security sectors endangered by Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, i.e., energy, food, and cybersecurity in Poland. Finally, the author examines how secure Polish citizens feel and analyzes the results of social surveys carried out in Poland by the Centre for Public Opinion Research (CBOS).

Opis:: Security as one of the human's critical needs assumes importance. Security lays the ground for development in various economic, social and cultural dimensions; for this, it is of high significance to measure it. The goal of the current research was to assess sense of security and its role in the expansion of tourism with emphasis on communicative planning components in coastal cities. The research methodology used in this paper was a case study and the information gathering method was document based and it fell in survey types. In document based method, domestic and foreign credible books and researches were applied and in the survey type method, too the tool of questionnaire has been used for gathering information. The statistical population in this research consisted of all tourists who had travelled to the city of Bandar Abbas with some economic, social, political, scientific, and cultural and entertainment aims. The number of 384 tourists was selected as the sample. While analyzing data, T test statistical tests were used for examining the research hypotheses. The result arising from the examination of the research's questions and hypotheses revealed that current tourists in the city of Bandar Abbas enjoy a favorable level as to the sense of security and in comparison between female and male tourists; the latter enjoys higher average of sense of security. Of among the eight hypotheses raised in the research, sense of security of tourists is not only significantly related with age and educational degree while it has a significant relationship with other variables including, the presence of tourists in the city, later travels to the city, choosing of the place of tourism, sense of satisfaction with the travel, gender and income. This is indicative of the fact that the more sense of security increases among tourists, and the more this issue circulates among them, the more tourists' presence and their tendency to reside in the city and even their later travels to the city of Bandar Abbas will increase, because security is found to be the most fundamental factor for tourism development in each city and region that aims to conforms with the features of superior regions within the tourism industry. Development of the tourism industry in each city, though is a product of appropriate security conditions, this means stability of security of that particular in that region.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is anattemption to define heter young men’s mental maturity for marriage has a connection with sense of security? The mental maturity for marriage is know as the sum of three important elements created long term relationships: 1) self-acceptance; 2) internal integration; 3) approach to marriage and family life. The research were involed 90 men. The results show that young men with higher level of mental maturity for marriage are characterized much high er level of sense of security than men of Lower level of mental maturity for marriage. This is manifestem biggersense of closeness with others, with the world, feeling at home, sense of stability and order, and definitely higher sense of self-trust and self-affirmation.
