Opis:: The goal of this research paper is to explore logistics strategy as a competitive tool for firm performance; the moderating effect of effectiveness of customer service: by presenting academic and practical advantages by explaining the preceding and suggesting a forward-looking research agenda based on a conceptual framework for competitiveness in logistics strategy. For support today's logistics managers and scholars, a literature review is established for scrutinize what was previously studied and what needs to be examined. From a focal firm perspective, the research expands the understanding of logistics strategy as a competitive tool while linking customer service effectiveness and the limitations for eventual research.

Tytuł:: Research on the effectiveness of promotional activities based on the training company
Badanie efektywności działań promocyjnych na podstawie firmy szkoleniowej

Opis:: My thesis is about the analysis of an effectiveness of promotional activities according to specific training company. The thesis was created as an effect of both quantitative and qualitative research related to a selected training company. The purpose of the quantitative research was to measure a level of brand awareness of the company among its target group and an amount of clients who participated in company’s services. This kind of research was focused also on an analysis of the most popular forms of promotion, which have been used by training participants or other respondents who have been searching some informations about training providers using different instruments. I compare the gained data with results collected as an effect of interview with employees of the training company. By comparing the data from two different sources I was able to estimate an effectiveness of the training company’s promotional activities.
Tematem mojej pracy jest analiza efektywności promocji w odniesieniu do konkretnej firmy szkoleniowej. Praca powstała jako efekt badań zarówno ilościowych jak i jakościowych. Badania ilościowe dotyczyły poziomu świadomości marki wśród grupy docelowej oraz liczby klientów, którzy skorzystali z usług firmy. W tym rodzaju badań skupiłam się również na analizie najpopularniejszych form promocji, z których respondenci skorzystali albo z których korzystają szukając informacji na temat dostawców szkoleniowych . Zgromadzone dane porównałam z wynikami uzyskanymi na podstawie wywiadów z pracownikami firmy szkoleniowej. Zestawienie danych z dwóch różnych źródeł umożliwiło mi oszacowanie efektywności działań promocyjnych firmy szkoleniowej.

Opis:: The efficiency of transportation systems has decreased due to restrictions to contain the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of the research was to analyze the efficiency of railways in connection with the impact of COVID-19 on rail transport itself. Thus, using data envelopment analysis we determined how the measures during the pandemic affected the efficiency of passenger and freight transport. The efficiency of the railway system was evaluated using a linear programming technique that measures the effectiveness of homogeneous decision-making units. The model’s input variables consisted of technical attributes of railway tracks, while the output variables encompassed train operations, the conveyance of goods, and passenger transport. The results show the differences in railway efficiency between EU countries during the COVID-19 crisis. Our findings indicate that the COVID-19 crisis had a more substantial effect on the effectiveness of services than its impact on technical aspects. The results show the differences in railway efficiency between countries during the COVID-19 crisis. In the research, we found that the COVID-19 crisis had a negative impact on service effectiveness, as it decreased by more than 3%, while technical efficiency increased during the analyzed period, mainly at the expense of a lower number of train movements when transport equipment was not maintained. The differences between countries indicate the slow adoption of the necessary measures to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and the need for coordinated and flexible action by rail transport policymakers.

Tytuł:: Doręczenia w postępowaniu cywilnym
Service in civil proceedings

Opis:: The institution of service in Polish legislation dates back to the pre-war times, and the beginnings of its codification date back to 1918, although the regulation of this institution found its place in many pre-war legal acts. However, the initial codification of the delivery institution is radically different from the one we have developed today. The institution of a court janitor or service by magistrates or commune heads has already been forgotten. Service under the Polish civil procedure has been regulated in Art. 131 - Art. 147 of the Civil Procedure Code. The importance of the institution in question is evidenced by the fact that it is placed in the Code of Civil Procedure and the creation of a separate chapter in it, which is included in the section on general procedural steps. Therefore, it can be concluded that service is elementary acts of civil procedure, the purpose of which is to preserve its rule of law by ensuring that both parties have equal rights. The institution described in this work is of great importance for the implementation of the guiding principles of civil procedure, above all, such as the principle of equality or the principle of procedural formalism, and the current changes introduced by last year's amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure will certainly streamline civil proceedings and allow for its full implementation. the guiding principles and fundamental rights of the individual existing at the constitutional level, including the right to a fair trial.After many years, the civil procedure abandoned the fiction of service in the case of the first pleadings requiring a person to defend his rights, which still exists in other branches of law. Following the example of the German civil procedure, the possibility of serving pleadings by court bailiffs was also extended to the possibility of serving the first pleadings through them.
Instytucja doręczeń w polskim prawodawstwie sięga czasów przedwojennych, a początki jej kodyfikacji pojawiają się 1918 roku, jakkolwiek unormowanie tej instytucji znalazło swoje miejsce w wielu przedwojennych aktach prawnych . Jednakże początkowa kodyfikacja instytucji doręczeń różni się diametralnie od tej, którą wypracowaliśmy na dzień dzisiejszy. Zapomniana dzisiaj została już instytucja woźnego sądowego, czy też doręczanie przez magistraty lub wójtów gmin. Doręczenia w polskiej procedurze cywilnej zostały unormowane w art. 131 – art. 147 KPC. Za doniosłością przedmiotowej instytucji świadczy fakt jej umiejscowienia w Kodeksie postępowania cywilnego i stworzenie osobnego w nim rozdziału, który to mieści się w dziale dotyczącym ogólnych czynności procesowych. Wobec tego wnioskować można, iż doręczenia są elementarnymi czynnościami postępowania cywilnego, które mają za zadanie zachowanie jego praworządności, poprzez zapewnienie obu stronom równości ich praw . Opisywana w niniejszej pracy instytucja ma ogromne znaczenie dla realizacji naczelnych zasad postępowania cywilnego, przede wszystkim takich jak zasada równości czy zasada formalizmu procesowego, a bieżące zmiany, które wprowadziła ubiegłoroczna nowelizacja Kodeksu postępowania cywilnego, z całą pewnością usprawni postępowanie cywilne i pozwoli na pełną realizację jego naczelnych zasad oraz podstawowych praw jednostki istniejących na płaszczyźnie konstytucyjnej m.in. prawa do sądu. Po wielu latach procedura cywilna zrezygnowała z fikcji doręczeń w przypadku pierwszych pism procesowych wymagających od osoby konieczności podjęcia obrony jej praw, która wciąż istnieje w pozostałych gałęziach prawa. Wzorując się na procedurze cywilnej niemieckiej, rozszerzono możliwość doręczania pism procesowych przez komorników sądowych również do możliwości doręczania za ich pośrednictwem pierwszych pism procesowych.

Tytuł:: The influence of human resource management on the effectiveness of State Fire Service in Bochnia
Wpływ zarządznia zasobami ludzkimi na skuteczność działania Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bochni.

Opis:: The thesis presents an attempt to show the impact of the human resource management on the effectiveness of the State Fire Service in Bochnia. The aim was to demonstrate that the effective management of human resources leads to the increased effectiveness of the particular State Fire Service. The materials gathered and analyzed in the individual chapters constituted the basis of this paper. In order to obtain the answers to the formulated hypothesis: improving human resource management increases the effectiveness of the State Fire Service, the results of the research in the form of a questionnaire were analyzed and the employees of this particular State Fire Service were directly interviewed. The work consists of five chapters and is a theoretical and empirical. The first chapter presents the history of the State Fire Service, its organizational structure, coverage and economic aspects. The second chapter describes specific problems of human resource management, such as planning, selection and recruitment, development, motivation and controlling of the employees. The third chapter contains the problems of human resource management in the State Fire Service in Bochnia. The fourth chapter explains the research methodology and the questionnaires and direct interviews are presented. The fifth chapter shows the analysis of the results and the conclusions that have been drawn from the survey and interview. On the basis of the study it was found that the effective management of human resources is very much needed and it is necessary for the operation to be more effective. Common courses, training and tactical exercises help also to increase efficiency and speed.
W niniejszej pracy podjęto próbę ukazania wpływu zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi na skuteczność działań Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Bochni. Głównym celem pracy jest pokazanie, że efektywne zarzadzanie zasobami ludzkimi prowadzi do wzrostu skuteczności działania w badanej jednostce PSP. Podstawą jest zebrany i przeanalizowany w poszczególnych rozdziałach materiał. W celu uzyskania odpowiedzi na postawioną w pracy hipotezę: doskonalenie zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi zwiększa skuteczność działania PSP, przeanalizowano wyniki przeprowadzonych badań w formie ankiety a także przeprowadzono wywiad bezpośredni z pracownikami z badanej jednostki. Praca składa się z pięciu rozdziałów i ma charakter teoretyczno – empiryczny. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiono historie Państwowej Straży Pożarnej, jej strukturę organizacyjną, zakres działalności oraz aspekty ekonomiczne. W rozdziale drugim przedstawiono specyficzne problemy zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi takie jak: planowanie, selekcje i rekrutacje, rozwój, motywowanie i kontrole pracowników. Trzeci rozdział to problemy zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi w badanej jednostce PSP. W rozdziale czwartym przedstawiono metodologie badań a także przeprowadzono badanie w postaci ankiety oraz wywiadu bezpośredniego. Rozdział piąty to analiza wyników ankiety a także wnioski, jakie zostały wyciągnięte z ankiety oraz wywiadu. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że skuteczne zarządzanie zasobami ludzkimi jest bardzo potrzebne i konieczne, aby działania ratowniczo – gaśnicze były prowadzone w skuteczniejszy sposób. Również częste kursy, szkolenia oraz ćwiczenia taktyczno – bojowe przyczyniają się do wzrostu skuteczności i szybkości działania.

Opis:: This study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of in-service training courses on the sixth grade teachers of Andimeshk. This was a descriptive survey. The population consisted of all 115 sixth grade teachers of Andimeshk selected by using complete census. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information on the effectiveness of in-service training courses on aspects of attitudes, skills and knowledge. The reliability of each category was calculated by using Cronbach. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics like Friedman rank test, chi-square test of goodness of fit, and one- sample t-test were used. The results showed that teachers evaluated the effectiveness of in-service training courses on their attitudes, skills and knowledge to be above the average.

Opis:: The paper has been intended to deliver a brief introduction to the forecast on the potential military advantages for some selected aircraft using data from the TURAWA and SAMANTA computer-based systems for tracking aircraft operation and maintenance. The term "operational effectiveness" of a military aircraft may be read as a sum of effects gained from particular sorties by this aircraft. In the simplest case, the operational effectiveness is nothing more but the number of destroyed hostile targets. The number of destroyed hostile targets is a random variable. With account taken of hostile counteractions and unreliability of engineered systems, the number of possible sorties by one aircraft is also a random variable. Therefore, the assessment of predicted operational effects gained by the aircraft may result from, either: a single operational (combat) flight (sortie) by one aircraft or flights (sorties) within some assumed time interval (time of an air mission), or the aircraft's total lifetime (service life). Findings of the study may find their application in an attempt to use the data collected in the TURAWA and SAMANTA systems to construct rates of aircraft effectiveness in the forms of: expected value of effects gained from a single sortie, expected value of effects gained from some assumed time interval (flying time), expected value of effects gained throughout the aircraft’s service life. All the relationships gained may then be applied to forecast the effectiveness of operating some selected types of aircraft using data collected throughout the service, and verified under field conditions while performing exercises.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono projekt kryteriów i mierników oceny efektywności podsystemu bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego obszaru działania Państwowej Straży Pożarnej (PSP) w Systemie Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Stanowiły one głos w dyskusji nad opracowaniem metodologii i metodyki oceny efektywności systemu bezpieczeństwa narodowego wykonywanej przez zespół naukowo-badawczy w ramach projektu pt. System Bezpieczeństwa Narodowego RP . W artykule w pierwszej kolejności zdefiniowano zasady formułowania kryteriów efektywności podsystemu bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego w obszarze działania Państwowej Straży Pożarnej, a następnie zaprezentowano kryteria oceny jego efektywności. Docelową część opracowania stanowią jednak metodyki oceny efektywności podsystemu bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego w obszarze działania Państwowej Straży Pożarnej. Prezentowaną koncepcję odniesiono do przepisów obowiązującego prawa, zasad, wytycznych i analiz.
This paper presents the design criteria and metrics evaluation of the effectiveness of internal security subsystem area of operation of the State Fire Service in the National Safety System of the Republic of Poland. They were carried out in the discussion on the development of methodologies and methods for assessing the effectiveness of the National Safety System by a team of scientific – research in project National Safety System. In an article in the first place defined rules subsystem formulation of criteria for the effectiveness of internal security in the area of the State Fire Service, and then presents the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of internal security subsystem in the area of the State Fire Service. Third part of the report includes an evaluation of the effectiveness of the methodology of internal security subsystem in the territory of the State Fire Service. The whole of referred to the applicable laws, rules, guidelines and analysis.
