Opis:: Along with the rapid development of electronic media, especially the Internet and mobile technologies, their importance for everyday communication, including specialist communication, has increased. Also, the world of education quickly incorporated them into the spectrum of their interests, as evidenced by e-learning environments that ensure fast and effective transfer of specialist knowledge. The aim of this paper is to show the ways of specialist knowledge transfer with two e-learning projects in the field of health care and the textile and clothing industry as examples.

Pojęcia te zaprezentowano w kontekście nawiązywania relacji z konsumentem, wpływu zaufania do marki na jej wizerunek oraz o tym, jak wizerunek specjalisty i eksperta w danej dziedzinie wpływa na to zaufanie.Celem pracy było ukazanie, w jaki sposób specjaliści z branży kosmetologii wykorzystują swoją pozycję społeczną do skutecznego zarządzania reprezentowanymi przez siebie markami Zarządzanie to polega na takim doborze treści w mediach społecznościowych, by budzić zaufanie wśród odbiorców. W celu ukazania zjawiska, zostały przeprowadzane badania jakościowe – analiza treści mediów społecznościowych i analiza aktywności obserwatorów. Uwaga skupiona jest na strategiach komunikacyjnych, treściach, tonie przekazu oraz interakcjach, które mają na celu umocnienie relacji opartych na zaufaniu.
This work discussed in detail the issues of trust, specialist image , specialist language and how these three aspects affect the brand image on social media. These concepts were also discussed in the context of establishing relationships with the customer, the impact of trust in the brand on its image and how the image of a specialist and expert in each field affects this trust.The aim of the work was to show how specialists in the cosmetology industry use their social position to effectively manage the brands the brands they represent. Management involves selecting content in social media in such a way as to inspire trust among recipients. In order to show phenomenon, qualitative research was carried out – content analysis of social media and analysis of observer’s activity. The focus is on communication strategies content, tone and interactions that aim to strengthen relationships based on trust.

Opis:: The article concentrates on the lexical and terminological features of the language of motorization. The analysis is based on the catalogues published by one of the leading passenger car producers in Germany and employs the perspective of specialist translation from German into Polish. The problems discussed in the article include loanwords, specialist jargon and the issues of synonymia and polysemy. The texts selected for the analysis and their specific linguistic and cultural features may serve as an interesting teaching material for specialist translation courses in philological translation studies.

Opis:: The present paper deals with languages for special purposes with special attention paid to teaching problems. It could be shown that there is a difference between special languages on the one hand and specialist languages on the other hand, that only the latter deserve to be named “languages”, whereas the former contain elements which do not constitute a language of its own, i.e. a language within a language, but have to be considered as being part of the common language. The author points out that a new teaching strategy that takes into account the fact that special words do not automatically belong to a special language may well be warranted.

Opis:: Learning a specialist language entails developing a number of linguistic competencies, the most important of which is discursive competence enabling proper communication in a particular professional environment. Its development requires that the learner should become sensitive to the pragmatic aspects of specialist language use in a wider discursive context, with particular attention to genre norms forming a discursive polisystem of a given culture. This paper presents specialist text translation as one of the most effective ways of teaching a specialist language by improving discursive competence.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to indicate the reasons for institutional changes in the provision of specialist counseling services in Poland. The author poses a thesis that specialist counseling is too closely associated with the social assistance system and becomes synonymous with social counseling. This results in lack of universality of the service which is directed almost exclusively to beneficiaries of social security. In the meantime, specialist counseling should “overtake” the social security system and act immediately after the problem has been identified, in the early stages of a difficult situation. The article is of analyticalempirical nature. The presented position results from the quantitative and qualitative analysis of research carried out among representatives of social services, specialists, local authorities, representatives of the III sector, people managing social security systems and local communities.

Opis:: This text is an attempt to apply the concept of a legal text unit to the description of strictly defined structures of legal texts, namely the gerund strings. The main attention is focused on the methods used to identify multi-segment terminological structures and on distinguishing them from strings that constitute a combination of linguistic expressions. The overall conclusion of such analysis is based on the indication of the mechanism used for connecting and limiting gerund structures in this scope. Therefore, this work includes, among others, the formal procedure of verification, which allows for distinguishing, with significant precision, the syntactic constructions with gerund forms and similar sequences of terms.

Opis:: The results of a research on segetal weed communities in fibre flax in Poland are presented, with respect to different regions of cultivation, and changes in the level of infestation during the past forty years. Observations on composition and abundance of weed infestations were made in fields in six experimental farms at the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants. The observations conducted in the period 1967-2008 did not show the occurrence of weed species from the group of so-called “flax specialists”: Lolium remotum Schrank, Spergula arvensis L. subsp. maxima (Weiche) O. Schwarz, Camelina alyssum (Mill.) Thell. and Cuscuta epilinum Weihe Ex Boenn.
