Opis:: The present article addresses the subject of technical specialist text, its discursive features and, what follows, its potential within the complex context of communication and functionality. What shall be analysed herein is a specific genre of the text, i.e. product information, along with its distinctive properties treated as a tool for exerting influence. The analysis shall be conducted while taking into account both inter- and intra-industry specialist communication. Consideration shall be given to the intertextual sphere, the functions and conventional structure of the text, its interactive roles and formulative level, i.e. the linguistic means and structures through which the speech acts inherent in the genre and necessary in the communication process are performed.

Opis:: Learning a specialist language entails developing a number of linguistic competencies, the most important of which is discursive competence enabling proper communication in a particular professional environment. Its development requires that the learner should become sensitive to the pragmatic aspects of specialist language use in a wider discursive context, with particular attention to genre norms forming a discursive polisystem of a given culture. This paper presents specialist text translation as one of the most effective ways of teaching a specialist language by improving discursive competence.

Opis:: This study explores the link between language and culture in the context of translating specialist texts. The starting point is the assumption that each text contains a cultural element, even if it is “only” a professional text. The illustration of the theoretical considerations is a comparative analysis of translations (from French into Polish) of press articles in the field of economics. The analysis of selected press materials shows that their cultural value is not a peripheral phenomenon, but constitutes an important sense-creating element. In the process of their translation, the translator's tasks include not only changing the original linguistic structures, but also changing the cultural perspective embedded in the text. The carriers of the cultural point of view are both single lexical units, as well as linguistic constructions and complex conceptual networks. Based on the research, the authors conclude that it seems particularly important to sensitize students to respect the genre standards of the target language and to understand the need to reconceptualize the original conceptual metaphor and change the deictic perspective of the text.

Opis:: The aim of the article was to answer the question about the place of didactic evaluation in the academic education system (taking into account different types of academic discourse: didactic and legal-administrative) and about the reasons for difficulties connected with introducing new evaluation practices into academic teaching. A detailed lexical-semantic and textual analysis concerned three specialist terms: “evaluation” (of knowledge, skills, competencies), “assessment” (of learning outcomes), “validation” (of qualifications).
Celem artykułu była odpowiedź na pytanie o miejsce oceny dydaktycznej w systemie edukacji akademickiej (z uwzględnieniem różnych typów dyskursu akademickiego: dydaktycznego i prawno-administracyjnego) oraz o przyczyny trudności związanych z włączeniem nowych praktyk oceniania do dydaktyki akademickiej. Szczegółowa analiza leksykalno-semantyczna i tekstowa dotyczyła trzech terminów specjalistycznych: oceny (wiedzy, umiejętności, kompetencji), weryfikacji (efektów uczenia się), walidacji (kwalifikacji).

Das deutsche Kochrezept - Charakteristik eines Gebrauchstextes
German recipe - characteristics of a functional text

Opis:: The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis was to characterize a recipe as an example of a functional text. The first chapter presents the fundamental concepts of text linguistics. Several quotations of definitions of the term “text” are given. Then, text functions according to Brinker are described in detail. Attention is further paid to the concept of textuality and standards of textuality according to Dressler and de Beaugrande. In addition, several definitions of the term “text type” are presented. At the end of the first chapter, the contrast between a specialist text and a functional text is shown. The second chapter discusses the characteristic features of a recipe as a type of text. The definitions of a cookbook and a recipe as set out in the Duden dictionary are first quoted, and the phenomenon of a recipe and a cookbook which have developed in the course of time is then described. Next, the most important parts of a recipe, that is its title, ingredients and how to make the dish, are studied. At the end of this chapter, the meaning of pictures in a recipe is discussed.
Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich zum Ziel, die Textsorte Kochrezept zu untersuchen. Im ersten Kapitel wurden die grundlegenden Begriffe der Textlinguistik dargestellt. Es wurden mehrere Textdefinitionen nach unterschiedlichen linguistischen Ansätzen angeführt. Es wurde auch das Phänomen Textfunktion näher behandelt. Danach wurde ein Unterkapitel der von Dressler und de Beaugrande unterschiedenen Textualitätskriterien gewidmet. Im Weiteren wurde der Begriff Textsorte nach vielen Linguisten definiert. Zum Schluss des ersten Kapitels wurde eine Auseinandersetzung mit den Begriffen Fach- und Gebrauchstextsorte dargelegt. Das zweite Kapitel wurde der Charakteristik der Textsorte Kochrezept gewidmet. Am Anfang wurde die Begriffserklärung von Kochrezept und Kochbuch nach Duden dargestellt. Danach wurde ein historischer Abriss der Entwicklung von Kochbüchen und Kochrezepten präsentiert. Im Folgenden wurden die Hauptbestandteile des Kochrezeptes, d.h. die Überschrift, die Zutatenliste und die Zubereitungsweise, charakterisiert. Zum Ende wurde die Bedeutung der Bilder in einem Kochrezept hervorgehoben.
Celem powyższej pracy dyplomowej była charakterystyka przepisu kulinarnego, jako tekstu użytkowego. W pierwszym rozdziale zostały przedstawione podstawowe pojęcia lingwistyki tekstu. Na początku zostały przytoczone definicje tekstu według różnych źródeł. Następnie zostały opisane funkcje tekstu według Brinkera. Przedmiotem rozważań kolejnego podrozdziału były kryteria tekstualności według Dresslera i de Beaugrande. W kolejnym podrozdziale zostały przedstawione definicje pojęcia rodzaj tekstu według kilku językoznawców. Na zakończenie pierwszej części pracy zostały ukazane różnice i podobieństwa pomiędzy tekstami użytkowymi a tekstami specjalistycznymi.W drugim rozdziale dokonano charakterystyki rodzaju tekstu jakim jest przepis kulinarny. We wstępie zostały przytoczone definicje książki kucharskiej i przepisu kulinarnego według słownika Duden. Następnie przedstawiono jak książki kucharskie i przepisy kulinarne rozwijały się z biegiem czasu. Przedmiotem kolejnego podrozdziału była analiza głównych części przepisu, tj. tytułu, składników oraz sposobu przygotowania potrawy. Ostatni podrozdział dotyczył znaczenia obrazów w przepisach kulinarnych.

Tytuł:: Operating instructions as a specialist text type for non-experts
Bedienungsanleitung als eine Fachtextsorte für Nicht-Experten

Opis:: The thesis concerns the characteristics of operating instructions which have an impact on its understanding by people who aren’t specialists in a certain subject.Since the reader has less knowledge in the area than the author, we can assume that operating instructions will contain a lot of linguistic means whoch would support their unambiguity and explicitness. The aim of the thesis is to show to what extent and on which levels of the text these means are present as well as what forms they are represented by.The first chapter includes a general description of the discussed text type.Operating instructions belong to specialist texts that are created mostly by experts in a certain area. Their purpose consists in the transfer of knowledge between the experts and non-experts. That knowledge should let the reader start their machine up and then use it.The second chapter is about the speech acts which typically occur in operating instructions. The main illocution of this text type is to order/instruct, resp. to forbid. This manifests itself thorough the use of directive speech acts in the text. These are supported by the representative ones. Speech acts can be expressed explicitly, directly or indirectly by different language means. The thesis puts a big emphasis on the analysis of their directness. A right assessment of the illocution of a statement determines if an activity on the machine will be carried out correctly. This assessment is based on the understanding of the statement. That is why the text understanding is the topic of the third chapter. According to the recent approaches, the text understanding is about following the schemas, which originate from the background knowledge, stored in the human brain. This familiar schemas help the reader fill the knowledge gaps with inferences while reading.In the last part of the thesis I analyze the macro- and microstructure of eight operating instructions concerning electric machines. Into consideration are taken the presence, order and nomenclature of certain part texts. Apart from that I analzye the realisation variants of the directive and representative speech acts as well as other microstructural linguistic features regarding their directness.The study shows that the analyzed operating instructions are characterized by a high degree of schematisation. The rigid and text-kind-typical order of part texts as well as their naming are the areas, where the schematisation can clearly be seen. On the microstructure level one can observe the schematic use of certain speech act realization variants in certain contexts. As schematic can also be described the sequences of the speech acts.We can identify the directness and explicitness on the macrolevel in the presence of part text that fill the gaps in knowledge. On the level of microstructure the high extent of unambiguity is ensured by the direct character of the ordering or forbidding speech acts. A reader might find the direct form of references in the text helpful as well.As the part text which stands out as particularly schematic and containing the most means of explicitness proved to be the safety instructions, which also have a great influence on text constitution.
In meiner Diplomarbeit befasse ich mich mit den Merkmalen von Bedienungsanleitungen, die Einfluss auf ihr Verstehen durch die im jeweiligen Fachbereich unerfahrenen Menschen haben. Da die Leser einen Wissensmangel gegenüber den Experten aufweisen, ist es zu vermuten, dass Bedienungsanleitungen einen hohen Grad an Mitteln besitzen, die ihre Explizitheit und Eindeutigkeit stiften. Das Ziel der Arbeit ist zu zeigen, inwieweit diese verständlichkeitsstiftenden Mittel in Bedienungsanleitungen ausgeprägt sind, welche Textbereiche von ihnen betroffen sind sowie welche Formen sie einnehmen. Das erste Kapitel beinhaltet eine allgemeine Beschreibung der thematisierten Textsorte.Die Bedienungsanleitung gehört zu Fachtexten, die meistens von Experten in einem Fach erstellt werden. Ihre Aufgabe besteht darin, das Wissen zwischen diesen Experten und den Kunden – also Nicht-Experten – zu vermitteln. Dieses Wissen soll erlauben, das Gerät problemlos und sicher in Betrieb zu setzen.Im zweiten Kapitel ist von den in Bedienungsanleitungen auftretenden Sprechakten die Rede. Die Hauptillokution von Bedienungsanleitung ist Anweisen/Anleiten bzw. Verbieten, was sich in der Verwendung von direktiven Sprechakten äußert. Diese werden in dieser Textsorte durch die beschreibenden Repräsentativa unterstützt. Beide Klassen können anhand verschiedener sprachlicher Mittel explizit, direkt bzw. indirekt zum Ausdruck kommen. Der Direktheitsgrad von Direktiva und Repräsentativa macht einen wichtigen Schwerpunkt der Untersuchung aus. Es hängt nämlich von der richtigen Einschätzung der Illokution einer Aussage ab, ob eine Handlung am Gerät richtig ausgeführt wird. Diese Einschätzung beruht auf dem Verstehen des Ausgedrückten. Daher werden im dritten Kapitel die Faktoren der Textverständlichkeit und des Textverstehens besprochen. Diese werden nach den aktuellen Ansätzen u.a. durch Schemata geleitet, die dem Vorwissen des Lesers entstammen und ihm helfen, beim Empfang Inferenzen zu ziehen.Im letzten Teil der Arbeit werden die Makro- und Mikrostruktur von acht Bedienungsanleitungen zu elektrischen Geräten unterschiedlicher Hersteller analysiert. Berücksichtigt werden auf der Makrostrukturebene die Reihenfolge, Anwesenheit sowie Nomenklatur bestimmter Teiltexte. Des Weiteren werden die im Untersuchungskorpus vorkommenden Realisierungsvarianten der direktiven und repräsentativen Sprechakte sowie einige andere mikrostrukturelle Einheiten im Hinblick auf ihre Direktheit untersucht. Die Untersuchung zeigt, dass die Exemplare der Bedienungsanleitungen einer starken Schematisierung unterliegen. Diese äußert sich in der starren, textsortentypischen Reihenfolge und Benennung der Teiltexte, die von der Textillokution abhängen. Auf der mikrostrukturellen Ebene kommt die Schematisierung durch die Verwendung bestimmter Sprechaktrealisierungsformen jeweils in konkreten Kontexten sowie in der Reihenfolge der Sprechhandlungen zum Ausdruck.Die Direktheit bzw. Explizitheit lässt sich an der Anwesenheit der das Wissen ergänzenden Teiltexte auf der Makrostruktur beobachten. Auf der Mikrostrukturebene kommt die Eindeutigkeit durch einen hohen Direktheitsgrad der anleitenden bzw. verbietenden Sprechakte zustande. Hilfreich für den Leser sind auch die Form der Verweise im Text sowie Ergänzungen, die normalerweise überflüssig wären, hier aber Textverständlichkeit fördern sollen.Als der Teiltext, der besonders starke Anzeichen der Schematisierung und Eindeutigkeit aufweist, wurden die Sicherheitshinweise festgestellt, was auch von der Sicherheitsorientierung als entscheidend für die Gestaltung der Textsorte Bedienungsanleitung zeugt.
W mojej pracy dyplomowej zajmuję się cechami instrukcji obsługi mającymi wpływ na ich zrozumienie przez ludzi nieobeznanych z daną dziedziną. Ponieważ czytelnik instrukcji dysponuje w tym obszarze mniejszą wiedzą fachową, można przypuszczać, iż instrukcje zawierać będą dużą ilość środków językowych zwiększających stopień ich schematyzacji, eksplicytności oraz jednoznaczności. Jako cel pracy chcę pokazać jak dalece posuwa się użycie tych środków, jakie formy przyjmują oraz jakie obszary podlegają schematyzacji oraz eksplicytności.Pierwszy rozdział zawiera ogólny opis omawianego gatunku tekstowego. Instrukcja obsługi należy do tekstów fachowych, które z reguły tworzone są przez ekspertów w dalej dziedzinie.Zadanie tych tekstów polega na przekazie wiedzy ekspertów klientom, a więc laikom. Ta widza ma pozwolić im łatwo i bezpiecznie rozpocząć użytkowanie sprzętu.Drugi rozdział dotyczy aktów mowy występujących w instrukcjach obsługi. Główną illokucją instrukcji obsługi jest nakazywanie/instruowanie tudzież zakazywanie, co ma swoje odzwierciedlenie w użyciu dyrektywnych aktów mowy. Ich funkcja wspomagana jest przez opisujące reprezentatywne akty mowy. Obie grupy można wyrazić za pomocą różnych środków językowych bezpośrednio lub niebezpośrednio, ewentualnie eksplicytnie. Stopień bezpośredniości aktów mowy jest istotnym punktem analizy zawartej w pracy. Od prawidłowego oszacowania illokucji danej wypowiedzi zależy bowiem czy czynność dotycząca sprzętu zostanie wykonana zgodnie z założeniem.Prawidłowość tego oszacowania zależy od zrozumienia wypowiedzi. Dlatego w trzecim rozdziale mowa jest o czynnikach mających wpływ na rozumienie oraz zrozumiałość tekstu. Według nowych teorii duże znacznie mają tu schematy tworzące się na drodze doświadczeń czytelnika , magazynowane w jego umyśle, które pomagają mu wysuwać inferencje podczas odbioru tekstu.W ostatniej części pracy analizowanych jest osiem niemieckojęzycznych instrukcji obsługi dotyczących sprzętów elektrycznych różnych producentów. Pod uwagę wzięte zostały na poziomie makrostruktury kolejność, obecność oraz nazewnictwo poszczególnych tekstów składowych. Następnie badane są pod kątem bezpośredniości formy realizacji dyrektywnych oraz reprezentatywnych aktów mowy występujące w tekstach.Badanie pokazuje, iż analizowane egzemplarze instrukcji obsługi podlegają wyraźnej schematyzacji. Jest ona widoczna w dość sztywnej , typowej dla tego gatunku tekstowego kolejności i nomenklaturze tekstów składowych, na co wpływ ma główna funkcja tekstu.Na poziomie mikrostruktury można zaobserwować schematyczne użycie pewnych form realizacji aktów mowy dla konkretnych znaczeń, w konkretnych kontekstach. Schematyzacja wyraża się także w kolejności występujących po sobie aktów mowy.Bezpośredniość tudzież eksplicytność na poziomie makrostruktury jest w kilku przypadkach zapewniona poprzez obecność testów składowych uzupełniających wiedzę czytelnika dotyczącą sprzętu bądź samej instrukcji. Na poziomie mikrostruktury jednoznaczność wyrażana jest przez wysoki stopień bezpośredniości dyrektywnych aktów mowy. Pomocna dla czytelnika będą także formy odnośników oraz uzupełnienia w tekście, które normalnie uznane za zbędne, mogą w tym przypadku zoptymalizować zrozumiałość tekstu.Tekstem, który w wyjątkowo wysokim stopniu podlega schematyzacji oraz użyciu środków zwiększających jednoznaczność, okazały się instrukcje dotyczące bezpieczeństwa.

W artykule omówiono specyfikę intensywnej nauki języka ukraińskiego jako języka obcego w oparciu o pedagogiczne doświadczenie autorki. Jako jedna z najważniejszych została wymieniona kwestia uwzględnienia rzeczywistych potrzeb komunikacyjnych i zawodowych studentów podczas układania programu nauczania języka ukraińskiego jako obcego. Poruszono temat wykorzystania materiałów edukacyjnych wspomagających aktywne poznawanie lokalnej historii oraz historii Ukraińców w Polsce, jak również tekstów z dziedziny edukacyjnej, zawodowej i społeczno-kulturalnej. Autorka zwraca szczególną uwagę na konieczność analizy tekstów specjalistycznych jako ważny etap w procesie przygotowania studentów do działalności zawodowej, w związku z czym porusza również problem brakujących programów i podręczników o tematyce ściśle terminologicznej.
The article deals the specificity of intensive learning of the Ukrainian language as a foreign language based on the author's pedagogical experience. One of the most important was the issue of taking into account the real communication and professional needs of students in the process of composing the Ukrainian language teaching program. The topic of the use of educational materials supporting the active learning of the local history and history of Ukrainians in Poland, as well as texts in the field of education, professional and socio-cultural issues were discussed. The author pays special attention to the need to analyze specialized texts as an important stage in the process of preparing students for professional activity, and therefore also raises the problem of missing programs and textbooks on strictly terminological topics.

Opis:: Niniejsza praca magisterska opisuje zagadnienia z zakresu języka specjalistycznego, lingwistyki teksu, oraz listów handlowych. Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza cech języka specjalistycznego występujących w niemieckich prośbach o informację kredytową oraz informacjach kredytowych. Listy handlowe badane są na płaszczyźnie leksyki, składni i budowy tekstu. Celem pracy jest również znalezienie i opis cech charakterystycznych dla korespondencji handlowej.Praca dyplomowa składa się z części teoretycznej i części praktycznej. Pierwsza część stanowi teoretyczne wprowadzenie do problematyki, w skład której wchodzą trzy rozdziały. Pierwszy z nich przedstawia ogólną charakterystykę języka specjalistycznego, jego definicje, podział na horyzontalny i wertykalny oraz specyfikę tekstów specjalistycznych na płaszczyźnie leksykalnej, składniowej i tekstu. W drugim rozdziale omówiona została lingwistyka tekstu. Po przedstawieniu kilku definicji, przeglądu najważniejszych klasyfikacji tekstów oraz rozgraniczeniu między korespondencją prywatną, a handlową podjęta została próba sklasyfikowania listu handlowego jako rodzaju tekstu. Tematem przewodnim trzeciego rozdziału jest korespondencja handlowa. W charakterystyce ujęto cechy dawnej i współczesnej korespondencji. Następnie omówiona została makrostruktura, która obejmuje formę i budowę niemieckiego listu handlowego oraz mikrostruktura, zawierająca cechy leksykalne, składniowe i tekstowe. W części praktycznej znajduje się szczegółowa analiza niemieckich próśb o informację kredytową oraz informacji kredytowych. W pierwszej kolejności została przedstawiona ogólna charakterystyka powyższych rodzajów tekstu. Następnie została zanalizowana makrostruktura i mikrostruktura wybranych listów handlowych, a wyniki badań przedstawiono w formie tabeli. Analiza wyników pozwala na stwierdzenie, że niemieckie listy handlowe zawierają cechy języka specjalistycznego, a poszczególne teksty wykazują więcej podobieństw niż różnic.
This thesis describes the issues of specialist language, text linguistics and business letters. The main object of study is the analysis of specialist language features present in the German requests for credit information and credit information. Business letters are examined at the level of vocabulary, syntax and structure of the text. The aim of this master thesis is also finding and describing the general characteristics of business correspondence.The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical and the empirical part. The first part, which consists of three chapters gives a theoretical introduction to the subject. The first chapter presents an overview of the specialist language, its definitions, division into the horizontal and vertical type and the specific of specialist texts at the level of lexical, syntactic and text. In the second chapter text linguistics have been described. After having presented several definitions, reviewed the most important text classification and demarcation between private and business correspondence, an attempt to categorize business letter as a sort of a text was made. The main topic of the third chapter is business correspondence. In the characteristics were included features of ancient and modern correspondence.In the empirical part there is a detailed analysis of German requests for credit information and credit information. In the first place general characteristics of these types of text has been shown. Then macrostructure and microstructure of selected business letters have been carefully analysed and the results were presented in tabular form. Analysis of the results leads to the conclusion that German business letters contain specialist language features and individual texts have more similarities than differences.
Zum Hauptthema der vorliegenden Magisterarbeit gehören die Fachsprache, Textlinguistik, Geschäftsbriefe und deren fachsprachlichen Merkmale. Der Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der fachsprachlichen Merkmale der Geschäftssprache im Deutschen am Beispiel von ausgewählten Kreditauskunftsersuchen und Kreditauskünften. Diese Arbeit hat auch zum Ziel charakteristische Eigenschaften der Handelskorrespondenz zu entdecken und beschreiben. Die Arbeit setzt sich aus zwei Teilen zusammen: dem theoretischen und dem praktischen Teil. Der erste Teil ist als theoretische Einführung in die Problematik gemeint. Sein erstes Kapitel befasst sich mit dem Bereich der Fachsprachen, dessen Definition, Gliederung und Spezifik der Fachtexte auf der Ebene der Lexik, der Syntax und des Textes. Im zweiten Kapitel werden die theoretischen Kenntnisse zum Bereich Textlinguistik zusammengefasst. Zuerst wird der Begriff Textsorte erläutert und danach ein Überblick über die Kriterien zur Textsortendifferenzierung gegeben. Dabei wird die Abgrenzung von Privat- und Handelskorrespondenz behandelt und der Versuch unternommen, den Geschäftsbrief im Rahmen der Textsortentheorie zuzuordnen. Das dritte Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit der Problematik und Charakteristik der Geschäftskorrespondenz und der Geschäftssprache. Es wird auf ihre Geschichte eingegangen. Dann werden Inhalt, Sprache und Stil moderner Geschäftskorrespondenz betrachtet. Im weiteren Teil wird die Makrostruktur des deutschen Geschäftsbriefes dargestellt, also seine äußere Form und Bestandteile, als auch die Mikrostruktur, die sich aus den Merkmalen auf der Lexik,-Syntax und Textebene zusammensetzt. Im praktischen Teil der Arbeit wird versucht die ausgewählten Geschäftsbriefe einer eingehenden Analyse zu unterziehen. Sie betrifft sowohl makro- als auch mikrostrukturelle Eigenschaften der Fachtextsorten Kreditauskunftsersuchen und Kreditauskünfte. Die Analyse hat zum Ziel herauszufinden, ob die von mir untersuchten Geschäftsbriefe, die für Fachtexte charakteristischen Merkmale enthalten und ob die einzelnen Arten des Schreibens Ähnlichkeiten sowie Unterschiede aufweisen.

Staraliśmy się zidentyfikować ewentualne problemy translatologiczne oraz dostrzec specyficzne cechy charakterystyczne owego języka specjalistycznego.Pierwszy rozdział pracy skupia się na wyjaśnieniu pojęcia języka specjalistycznego i specyfice jego przekładu. Możemy rozróżnić wiele języków specjalistycznych, mają one jednak wspólne cechy charakterystyczne: monoreferencyjność, precyzyjność, dążenie do monosemii, substantywizacja tekstu, podatność na zapożyczenia i gwałtowne zmiany. Rozdział drugi opisuje historię sportu i wychowania fizycznego na terenie Ukrainy, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Galicji, gdzie miał miejsce najbardziej dynamiczny rozwój ruchów sportowych, jak i również terenów wschodnich, gdzie władze Związku Radzieckiego odgórnie narzucały struktury i metodologię wychowania fizycznego. W rozdziale trzecim poddajemy analizie istniejącą terminologię z wielu dziedzin sportu, zwracając szczególną uwagę na pochodzenie zapożyczeń i ich ekwiwalencję z terminami polskimi. Tutaj także znajduje się podrozdział poświęcony żargonowi sportowemu, będącemu ciekawym zjawiskiem w obrębie obu badanych języków. Kolejna część pracy obejmuje słownik wybranych terminów sportowych wraz z tłumaczeniem na język polski.W zakończeniu zajmujemy się wnioskami płynącymi z analizy, takimi jak potrzeba powrotu do rodzimego słownictwa ukraińskiego w miejsce funkcjonujących terminów i wyrażeń zruszczonych oraz postulat zwrócenia uwagi tłumaczy na problem nagromadzenia tak zwanych „fałszywych przyjaciół tłumacza” i zapożyczeń z innych źródeł w obu językach. Podsumowując, stwierdzamy, że temat jest daleki od wyczerpania i potrzeba jeszcze bardziej dokładnych badań oraz wydania słowników specjalistycznych zarówno polskiego jak i ukraińskiego.
This work is an analysis of the Ukrainian sports vocabulary in oder of the translation equivalence with Polish. We tried to identify possible translatological problems and to notice characteristic features of that specialist language.The first chapter of the work is focusing on explaining comprehending the specialist language and the specificity of its translation. We can distinguish a lot of specialist languagues, however they have shared distinctive features: monoreferency, preciseness, aspiration to monosemy, text substantywization, the susceptibility to borrowings and fast changes. The chapter two is describing the history of sport and the physical education in Ukraine, with particular reference to Western Ukraine, where the most rapid development of sports movements took place, as well as also of eastern areas, where authorities of the Soviet Union top-down imposed structures and metodology of sport education. In the chapter three we are analysing the existing terminology from many fields of sport, paying special attention to the origin of borrowings and their equivalence with Polish. Here we can find a subsection devoted to the jargon sports, being an interesting phenomenon in a range of both studied languages. The next section of the work includes the dictionary of sports timings along with translating into Polish.In the end we are dealing with coming conclusions from analysis, so how need the return to the native vocabulary of the Ukrainian replacing Russified expressions and terminology and the demand of paying attention is explaining accumulations to the problem so-called of translator's "faux-amis" and of borrowings from alternative sources in both languagues. To sum up, we state that the subject is far from the end of research and even more thorough examinations and a both Polish and Ukrainian edition of specialist dictionaries are needed.
