Opis:: The aim of the paper is to present the assumptions of the project titled “Subsumption of education”, which has been implemented in the Institute of Education, Szczecin University since December 2013. In the first section, we draw attention to the need to reflect on the social, political, and ethical dimensions of the subordination of educational processes. Then, outlining theoretical perspective, we present the goals of our project. The final section indicates the research areas, topics discussed by the participants of the seminar. In conclusion, we present the expected results of work of the team involved in the project.

Opis:: Let $\mathrm{T}$ be the family of all typically real functions, i.e. functions that are analytic in the unit disk $\Delta := \{ z \in \mathbb{C} : |z|<1 \}$, normalized by $f(0)=f'(0)-1=0$ and such that Im $z$ Im $f(z)$ $\geq 0$ for $z \in \Delta$. Moreover, let us denote: $\mathrm{T}^{(2)}:= \{f \in \mathrm{T}: f(z)=-f(-z) \text{ for } z \in \Delta \}$ and $\mathrm{T}^{M,g} := \{ f \in \mathrm{T}: f \prec Mg \text{ in } \Delta \}$, where $M>1$, $g \in \mathrm{T} \cap \mathrm{S}$ and $\mathrm{S}$ consists of all analytic functions, normalized and univalent in $\Delta$.We investigate classes in which the subordination is replaced with the majorization and the function $g$ is typically real but does not necessarily univalent, i.e. classes $\{ f \in \mathrm{T}: f \ll Mg \text{ in } \Delta \}$, where $M>1$, $g \in \mathrm{T}$, which we denote by $\mathrm{T}_{M,g}$. Furthermore, we broaden the class $\mathrm{T}_{M,g}$ for the case $M \in (0,1)$ in the following way:$\mathrm{T}_{M,g} = \left\{ f \in \mathrm{T} : |f(z)| \geq M |g(z)| \text{ for } z \in \Delta \right\}$, $g \in \mathrm{T}$.

Opis:: This paper addresses the issue of the historical development of for fear (that) in English – a prepositional subordinator ushering in finite clauses of purpose in which negation is inherently coded, i.e. the content of the subordinate clause is negated by the complementiser which does not contain a negative particle in itself. The rise of this construction is studied within the theory of grammaticalization and it turns out to be a regular case of grammaticalization following the mechanisms of grammaticalization such as desemanticisation, extension and decategorialisation.

Opis:: The text attempts to resolve the narrative impasse perpetuating in analyses and reconstructions of the local humanities position in the field of local and supra-local competition. The basic proposal that can lead to the most sensible and credible debate in this matter is the preliminary establishment of the local representatives of (broadly understood) humanities beyond the standard narratives (progress, backwardness, worldliness etc.) and fantasies abundantly present in this discourse. This suggestion may be strongly uncomfortable for the actors acting in this field, but it seems that without undertaking such a confrontation these analyzes and debates will remain sterile, regardless of how instrumentally effective they may be in clashes between individual fractions within the local field of humanities.

Opis:: We determine coefficient estimates for α-spiral functions of order ϱ with respect to N-symmetric points (|α| = π/2, 0 ≤ ϱ = 1$ and N is a positive integer). Sharp coefficient bounds are also obtained for functions of the form $f(z)^{-t}$, where t is a positive integer and f(z) is an α-spiral function of order ϱ. Using this we deduce coefficient estimates for inverses of univalent α-spiral and meromorphic univalent α-spiral functions with vanishing early coefficients.
