" Rozproszone współbieżne mikroprocesorowe inteligentne podsystemy mechatroniczne w sterowaniu i diagnostyce pojazdów szynowych ".
The future scattered synchronous microprocessor intelligent mechatronic systems in controlling and diagnostic of the rail vehicles are presented in this article. These systems will be base for creation the different models and informatic and information systems for the rail vehicles. This article is the third part (3) of the above publication. It includes the description of the used equipment and software tools in solving the undertaken research problem. This article was madę as a results of realization of the research project of the KBN 4T 12C 04929 under the title: " The scattered synchronous microprocessor intelligent mechatronic subsystems in controlling and diagnostic of the rail vehicles".

Opis:: Majority of modern cars are equipped with standard suspension systems with hydraulic shock absorbers. They are reliable elements, but came to the limit of their possibilities to ensure reasonable level of vibration accelerations, when cars became lighter and diameters of the wheel rim and tires has big diameter. This paper provides possible solution for the modern car suspension systems with controlled damping and self-powering service and data transmission. Such dampers implements smart liquid and electrically realized damping force control. This paper focused on electrical properties of this type of shock absorbers. Provided experimental research use shock absorber – energy harvester of new design. All experiments performed on shock machine using produced by authors prototype of original design. Energy gaining performed using three similar prototypes with ferro-nanomagnetic liquid, permanent magnet core and ferromagnetic steel core. Obtained results provided in the graphical form as electric gain with open circuit and loaded by electric load.
Większość nowoczesnych samochodów jest wyposażona w standardowe układy zawieszenia z hydraulicznymi amortyzatorami. Aktualnie stosowane amortyzatory są niezawodne, jednak nie umożliwiają dalszego rozwoju w odniesieniu do znacznych wartości przyśpieszeń drgań w lekkich samochodach o dużych średnicach felg i opon. Artykuł przedstawia nowe możliwości rozwiązań w nowoczesnych układach zawieszenia z kontrolowanym tłumieniem, autonomicznym zasilaniem oraz monitoringiem. Zaproponowane tłumiki zapewniają inteligentne, elektrycznie sterowaną siłę tłumienia. W pracy skupiono się na właściwościach elektrycznych zaproponowanych amortyzatorów cieczowych. Do badań eksperymentalnych wykorzystano opracowany przez autorów prototyp amortyzatora, a eksperymenty przeprowadzono na maszynie uderzeniowej. Pozyskiwanie energii z amortyzatora zrealizowano przy użyciu trzech podobnych prototypów z cieczą z nanocząstkami magnetycznymi na bazie żelaza, rdzeniem z magnesem trwałym i rdzeniem ze stali ferromagnetycznej. Uzyskane wyniki przedstawiono jako uzyskaną energię elektryczną zarówno w układzie z otwartym obwodem, jak i obciążeniem elektrycznym.

Opis:: This paper describes how to calculate the number of algebraic operations necessary to implement block matrix inversion that occurs, among others, in mathematical models of modern positioning systems of mass storage devices. The inversion method of block matrices is presented as well. The presented form of general formulas describing the calculation complexity of inverted form of block matrix were prepared for three different cases of division into internal blocks. The obtained results are compared with a standard Gaussian method and the “inv” method used in Matlab. The proposed method for matrix inversion is much more effective in comparison in standard Matlab matrix inversion “inv” function (almost two times faster) and is much less numerically complex than standard Gauss method.

Istotną kwestią w procesie edukacji na studiach technicznych jest równowaga pomiędzy nauczaniem teorii a przekazywaniem umiejętności praktycznych. Przedstawiana metoda umożliwia zrealizowanie wymagań stawianych współczesnym laboratoriom technicznym.
The article demonstrates teaching methodology on the basis of mechatronic laboratory systems and tools for the rapid prototyping of control algorithms. The presented solution is dedicated to nowadays teaching courseware as a methodology to meet the requirements for highly trained and educated engineers. The main difficulty in engineering education is to find a balance between theory and practice. The practical (based on experiments) education requires a lot of effort. First of all, it requires access to the appropriate lab. The methodology presented in the paper is based on cost effective mechatronics systems originated from industrial plants reduced in scale. The following systems, are exemplified: gantry crane, servo and balancing robot. The signals from the sensors and signals to the actuators bring the real world into the computer model. Mechatronic systems are connected to PC computer via interface board. Computer-Aided Engineering which supports Model-Based Design techniques is used for modeling, validation and implementing measurement and control applications. Two main advantages of this solution are well visible: to make the laboratory sets cost effective, and to allow a focus on the problem while omitting the details of its implementation. The proposed method is addressed mainly to educators of the control engineering, mechanical engineering, metrology and embedded control.

The first part of this article (1) includes the general information on the subject of the problems of the scattered control systems and the used models of CAN network. It includes the information on the subject of the used control systems by the European companies.

Opis:: In the process of control of mining machines the problems with development of a classical mathematical model describing phenomena that accompany operation of these machines are presented. These problems are the result of specificity of the process of driving the roadways and the direct reason to undertake trials to use artificial intelligence technologies in modelling of phenomena, which occur during rock-drivage of roadways. The following problems are presented in the paper: -state-of-the-art control systems used in roadheaders, -possibilities of use of artificial neural networks in control systems of mining machines (on the example of a roadheader), -model tests with use of data recorded during drivage of roadway with use of a roadheader, -determination of cutting resistance with use of an artificial neural network to determine the value of set angular speed of a roadheader’s cutter jib in the plane parallel to the roadway floor. Presented model tests are the result of R&D projects associated with designing of an intelligent control system of the roadheader, which are realized at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology.
W procesie sterowania maszyn górniczych występuje wiele czynników, utrudniających przygotowanie klasycznego modelu matematycznego, opisującego zjawiska towarzyszące pracy maszyny. Problemy te, wynikające ze specyfiki procesu drążenia wyrobisk, są bezpośrednią przyczyną podejmowania prób zastosowania technik sztucznej inteligencji w modelowaniu zjawisk występujących w trakcie drążenia wyrobisk korytarzowych (tuneli). W artykule zaprezentowano: - badanie stanu wiedzy z zakresu systemów sterowania kombajnów chodnikowych, - możliwości zastosowania sztucznych sieci neuronowych w układach sterowania maszyn górniczych (na przykładzie kombajnu chodnikowego), - wyniki badań procesu drążenia wyrobiska kombajnem chodnikowym, - określenie oporów skrawania z wykorzystaniem sztucznej sieci neuronowej do wyznaczenia wartości prędkości kątowej wysięgnika kombajnu chodnikowego.

Opis:: Mechatronika, jako koncepcja budowy urządzeń jest obecna niemal we wszystkich działach techniki. Rozwój mikroprocesorowych układów przetwarzania danych, a także postęp w dziedzinie budowy układów wykonawczych i pomiarowych stwarzają możliwości realizowania przez urządzenia funkcji, które jeszcze do niedawna pozostawały jedynie w sferze marzeń. Postęp nie ominął również medycyny, a ściślej wyposażenia technicznego pracującego na rzecz osób chorych. Roboty ortotyczne, których szybki rozwój następuje w wielu ośrodkach naukowych na całym świecie, zastępują u ludzi utracone funkcje ruchowe. Autorzy pracują nad urządzeniem do pionizacji i wymuszania chodu osób z bezwładem nóg. W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję systemu sterowania opracowywanego urządzenia.
Mechatronics seems to be nowadays the leading idea of design of machines and devices. Integration of mechanic devices with the powerful microelectronic technology forced synergy effects resulting in new applications also in medical domain. Here, wearable robots are most spectacular examples. They are person-oriented robots that may be defined as those worn by human operators, whether to support the function of a limb or to replace it completely. The authors focussed their attention on the development of an orthotic robot suited for people with paresis of lower limbs (Fig. 1). The role of the robot is to improve standard of life of handicapped people. However, for safety reasons, its usage needs additional assistance of third party persons. It leads to a conclusion, that control system of the device should be designed in such a way that movements of limbs are allowed only and only in cases when all safety conditions are fulfilled. Upon this statement, the device under design can be classified as a self optimising system. The general structure of such a system is shown in Fig. 2. This system consists of: knowledge base, multi- control subsystem, communication ports and inference machines. The block diagram of automatic control system is depicted in Fig. 3. The main purpose of knowledge base is to store and update reference data for decisions upon the device performance. This data contains records of values of selected signals, collecting information about the state of the device and a robot user, in order to detect non-safety behaviour. Tilt of the user's body and acceleration of its certain parts, as well as reaction forces between feet and crushes against ground can be considered as signals useful for decision making. A structure of the control system meeting the above considerations is presented in Fig. 4. A brief survey of data transmission protocols was carried out. A survey was focused on systems used for industrial applications taking into considerations its approved high immune against electromagnetic field transients and easiness of building redundant structures of communication networks and controllers. Finally, CAN standard was proposed as a communication protocol for the device broadly used in automotive industry (Fig. 5). In the conclusions future works are presented together with the risk analysis.
