Opis:: Evolution of manufacturing technology has been a definitive indicator of human society’s development. From the wheels that started the spree to the world of machines that have revolutionized the manufacturing processes, manufacturing tools have been indicative of eras of development. In this paper, we have focused on the branch of engineering that deals with manufacturing - specifically its structure in India. In this study we investigate some premier government institutes with respect to Manufacturing Engineering Education. We have also included the technical education model at different education level.

Opis:: Present paper deals with the field of Production Engineering specifically its standard of education in India. This discipline of engineering focuses on the capability of an engineer not just as a technician but also as a manager. As a result industry is also favoring the development of this field. This paper reviews the educational structure followed in India for engineering education. It aims to give a clear idea of standard of this discipline’s courses being run in India at different levels of engineering, considering both centrally funded and private institutions. It also covers the necessary simulation tools used to train the students during these courses and inspects over available web-resources related to the subject. In the epilogue it discusses the future prospects for this field’s development as a discipline and concludes with a brief comparison of India’s status from other regions of world. In the end we have made some suggestions to decision-makers based on our findings to improve the existing model.

Opis:: Technická výchova musí být vnímána jako základna k dosažení pracovních a dalších kompetencí, které jsou uvedeny v rámcových vzdělávacích programech pro základní i střední vzdělání. Tento požadavek není vždy vhodně akceptován v transformačních procesech školských soustav. Příspěvek porovnává vývoj technického vzdělávání v USA a v naší školské soustavě v posledních letech.
Technical education must be understood as fundamental for acquiring working and other skills specified in the framework educational programmes for both primary and secondary education. This requirement has not always been accepted in processes implementing the transformation of educational systems. The paper compares the development of technical education in the USA and in our country during the last few years.

Opis:: There are presented the historical and modern aspects of civic-ethical education in Mexican technical middle schools through a documentary-bibliographic study. It was found out, that the historical development of civic-ethical education in Mexico has a long account, beginning in the 16th century at the time of the conquest when it depended on religious education and catechism, going through the periods of Enlightenment and liberalism in New Spain when it became a compulsory subject in the educational system, and consolidating in the 20th century. The main objective of the modern civic-ethical education as a part of the community-oriented training in Mexican technical middle (secondary) schools, is the promotion of activities through which adolescents, in different areas of training (school, family, community, etc.), learn to become able and responsible citizens and to assume a set of attitudes to function as such.
Przedstawiono historyczne i współczesne aspekty edukacji obywatelsko-etycznej w meksykańskich szkołach technicznych poprzez studium dokumentalno-bibliograficzne. Odkryto, że historyczny rozwój edukacji obywatelsko-etycznej w Meksyku ma długą historię, począwszy od XVI wieku w czasach podboju, kiedy opierała się na edukacji religijnej i katechizacji, przechodząc przez okresy oświecenia i liberalizmu w Nowej Hiszpanii, kiedy stała się obowiązkowym przedmiotem w systemie edukacyjnym i konsolidując się w XX wieku. Głównym celem współczesnej edukacji obywatelsko-etycznej jako części zorientowanego na społeczność szkolenia w meksykańskich szkołach technicznych (średnich) jest promowanie działań, poprzez które nastolatkowie, w różnych obszarach kształcenia (szkoła, rodzina, społeczność itp.), uczą się być zdolnymi i odpowiedzialnymi obywatelami i przyjmować zestaw postaw, aby funkcjonować jako tacy.
