Opis:
Within the framework of the concept of "green chemistry" and cyclic economy (economy of closed technological cycles) the extraction of chemical pollutants Cu2+, S2–, HS––ions from wastewater of various industrial productions was investigated. The research was integrated into a single technological cycle of obtaining new carbon-sulfurcontaining lubricants for special purposes. The loading and antifriction properties of the developed plastic lubricants were investigated. It was established that the antifriction properties (ffr) of the developed plastic lubricants are 1.25–1.45 times higher those of the Konstantin-1 industrial lubricant Konstantin-1 and can be used in the work of friction units of various machines and mechanisms. The tribotechnical results of the developed plastic oils in the "steel-aluminum" friction pair are justified, first of all, by the presence, of technical graphite brand LG-1 plastic oils, its modified forms of "pseudographite" and pyrocarbon, as well as sulfur-containing components CuSx and thiobenzaniline (TBA) in the composition.

Opis:
The main goal of the presented research is to assess the technological damageability of the material and use this as a criterion for analyzing the technological route of product machining in the "blank-workpiece-final part" technological chain. This technological chain is examined in detail in the most important stages of the life cycles of mechanical engineering products aiming to take into account the principles of technological inheritability of their characteristics and quality parameters. The technological inheritability of the properties of the surface layers of the made of steel parts of machines and mechanisms during their machining evaluates and predicts the transformation of the structurally heterogeneous material obtained after the production of blanks into the structurally homogeneous material of the final parts. The procedure for evaluating the homogeneity of the processed material for each technological step by the LM hardness method is presented according to the calculated values of the Weibull homogeneity coefficient, material constant, variation coefficient, technological damageability along with corresponding intensity of the expansion. The developed methodology was implemented and proven at the manufacturing process of the conveyor belt drive drum shaft.

Opis:
A technological quality method was used to compare two methods of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) production. The first method was the classic spray method (CM) and the second was a dry single-stage method (DSM). The assessment criteria were environmental, based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) evaluation and economic, based on production costs. The technological quality assessment of CM was 6.5% lower in comparison to DSM. LCA environmental analyses showed that the partial environmental quality of DSM was lower by only 4.4% compared to CM. Partial economic quality was lower by 10.3%, mainly due to the lower energy costs (on average 52%) for DSM. The advantage of the new DSM method is the technological progress achieved, mainly due to the application of new technology, design, and apparatus solutions; thus, the basic elements of the activities proposed in the methodology allow for cleaner STPP production.

Research background: The innovation activity of Polish industrial processing enterprises is examined in a broader time context than typical business cycle frames, which makes it possible to look at the investigated problems from the perspective of Kondratieff waves. Purpose of the article: The aim of the research is to describe the combined effect of mutual interactions between the ownership and size of Polish industrial processing enterprises on the goals of innovative activity and their degree of importance for the further development of the innovativeness of those firms. These relations are examined in various phases of the business cycle. Additionally, taking secular changes into account made it possible to lend credence to the claim that the global financial crisis is a typical phenomenon for the breakthrough period between two Kondratieff waves. Methods: A characteristic feature of the applied method is the focus on the combined effect of the enterprise type and ownership structure on firms' innovation over three periods: prosperity 2004-2006, crisis 2008-2010 and recovery 2012-2014. As regards statistical techniques, the Pearson's χ2 independence test and correspondence analysis were applied. The results of the research are presented in a graphic form in three- and two-dimensional correspondence maps, which indicate the co-occurrence of (1) ownership sectors and enterprise types taken together, and (2) effects (goals) of the innovative activity of enterprises, together with the degree of their influence (importance) for further innovative activity. Mutual interactions between ownership sectors and enterprise types were visually analysed, indicating significant features of the triangles representing them. Findings & Value added: A significant combined effect of the ownership sectors and enterprise types on firms' innovative activity was found. There was a certain type of dynamic equilibrium between those variables, which changes depending on the business cycle phase. In the global financial crisis of 2008-2010, a surprising phenomenon was found, consisting of the growth of innovative activity in most enterprises as compared to the period of prosperity in 2004-2006. The enterprises achieved the goals assumed, and the degree of their importance proved the significant influence on further innovative activity of those firms. Additionally, it was demonstrated that in the period of recovery (2012-2014) mutual interactions between ownership and size eliminated the relationship between those variables and the goals of innovative activity, and eco-innovations proved to be directly subordinated to traditional types of innovations, mainly product and process innovations. Changes occurring in the last of the examined periods are related to the near-zero inertia of the entire industrial processing section, which allows to interpret the global financial crisis as a typical phenomenon for a breakthrough marking the end of one Kondratieff wave and the beginning of the next. Moreover, 2015 is identified as the year of breakthrough, ending the Fifth and beginning the Sixth Kondratieff Wave, which was related to the transition from the information and telecommunications revolution to the biomedical-hydrogen revolution. The calculations presented in this paper are consistent with those forecasts.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie możliwości oceny jakości rozwiązań konstrukcyjno- materiałowych poprzez analizę ich technologiczności, formułowanej też jako jakość technologiczna. Pojęcie technologiczności obiektu budowlanego zdefiniowano jako przystosowanie zastosowanych rozwiązań do łatwego i uzasadnionego ekonomicznie wykonania, zapewniającego spełnienie wymagań stawianych obiektowi w całym cyklu jego życia. Cykl życia obiektu budowlanego rozpoczyna artykułowanie potrzeb budowlanych, następnie pojawia się koncepcja i studium wykonalności przedsięwzięcia, po czym występuje projektowanie obiektu i procesów wykonawczych. Kolejne fazy cyklu życia obiektu to realizacja procesów logistycznych i budowlanych, które kończy oddanie do użytkowania. Dalej rozpoczyna się eksploatacja zakończona likwidacją. Podjęto próbę specyfikacji kryteriów oceny jakości technologicznej obiektów wznoszonych w konstrukcji stalowej z uwzględnieniem poszczególnych faz cyklu istnienia obiektów. Dociekania przeprowadzono na podstawie dostępnej literatury oraz praktycznych doświadczeń autorów opracowania. Wskazano potrzebę rozważań konstrukcyjno-materiałowych i metody wznoszenia obiektu jako grupy kryteriów ogólnych. Podkreślono, niezauważaną dotychczas, konieczność uwzględnienia w ocenie technologiczności perspektywy podmiotowej. Wynika to ze specyficznych wymagań stawianych obiektom budowlanym przez poszczególnych interesariuszy budowlanych projektów inwestycyjnych. Z uwagi na fakt, że procesy kształtowania obiektu w fazie programowej, projektowej i realizacyjnej są związane z procesami eksploatacyjnymi i fazą likwidacyjną, podkreślono, że każdy z interesariuszy winien postrzegać wszystkie etapy cyklu życia obiektu.
A purpose of the article is to point out a possibility of assessing the quality of construction and material solutions by analyzing their manufacturability, understood as a technological quality. A concept of manufacturability of buildings is defined as an adaptation of the solutions to get an easy and economically viable performance, ensuring a fulfillment of all requirements imposed on a building throughout its life cycle. An objective and needs are identified in the beginning of the building life cycle of the construction. Then there is a conceptual design and a feasibility study followed by a detailed design and creating a documentation. After that there are construction processes along with construction logistics and building commissioning in the end. Next an operation and a maintenance are followed by a demolition. It was made an attempt to specify some factors of assessing the technological quality of steel frame buildings especially in each phase of the building life cycle. Studies were carried out on the basis of the available literature and practical experience of the authors. It was indicated that a need for considering the construction and material solutions is very important. A so-far-neglected need for taking into consideration a stakeholder perspective in a manufacturability assessment was emphasized in the article. It results from some specific requirements of the building given by project stakeholders. Due to the fact that shaping an object in a concept-design-construction phase is related to building operations-maintenancedemolition phase, each stakeholder should consider all stages of the building life cycle.

Nowadays Life Cycle Assessment is the most popular tool that can be used to see environmental load of a machine, a product or a process. LCA defines the impact throughout the life of a product, from the extraction or production of raw material from natural resources, through production, use and final disposal. This method focuses on the assessment of the impact of the tested object on the area of the ecosystem, human health and the resources use. LCA is a very helpful tool in the environmental assessment that is required and results from the current policy of the European Union, which requires the member states to minimize the harmful impact on the environment of every aspect of human life. The publication discusses the LCA life cycle assessment method as one of the methods allowing to estimate the environmental impact of a technological process or some product. The article shows also the history of LCA, the individual stages, advantages and disadvantage this method. This paper it is also an introduction to carry out LCA analysis on the example of a process with the use of the shrink film.
