Opis:
W artykule omówiono charakterystykę transportową miasta Zamość. Dokonano porównania kształtu sieci miejskiej tego miasta na przestrzeni drugiej dekady XXI wieku. Uwzględniono kształt sieci transportu zbiorowego w latach 2010, 2014 oraz 2018. Opisano zasadę tworzenia sieci komunikacji wg H. Becka oraz zaproponowano nowy schemat sieci komunikacyjnej dla miasta Zamość.
The article discusses the transport characteristics of the city of Zamość. The shape of the city's urban network was compared in the second decade of the 21st century. To preparing this description has been taken the shape of the mass transport network in 2010, 2014 and 2018. This article describes rules of creating a communication network according to H. Beck and was proposed new communication network for the city of Zamość.

Opis:
The following paper is connected to the formulation of the task for traffic flow optimisation in the examined part of transport network for a criterion of equal average costs. It is assumed that transport network is presented in a form of a graph. The arcs of a graph have interpretation of paths connections, vertices of a graph have interpretation of locations. On paths connections, the capacity function interpretation has been defined. Based on information mentioned above, the optimization task of determining the equipment regrouping relations is formulated. First of all, assumptions on displacement of vehicles in a given network in a regroup relation were defined. What is more, criteria of vehicles flows in regroup relations in a transport network were formulated and then optimizing tasks for vehicles flow were defined: the first optimization task of vehicles flow with average cost criterion and the second one: optimization task of vehicles flow with cost criterion.

W pracy zaproponowano heurystyczny algorytm wyznaczania minimalnych względnych kosztów transportu, z uwzględnieniem kilku gałęzi transportu, do przewozu danego typu ładunku pomiędzy dwoma zadanymi punktami sieci transportowej, przy zadanych kosztach operacji ładunkowych. Algorytm ten pozwala na jednoczesne określenie wielkości przewozów dla poszczególnych gałęzi transportu oraz wyznacza tabelę korespondencji ładunków.
The paper proposes a heuristic algorithm for determining the minimum relative costs of transport, including several modes of transport for the transport of the type of cargo between the two pre-defined points of the transport network, with the given cost cargo operations. This algorithm allows simultaneous determination of the volume of transport for the individual modes of transport and sets out a table of correspondence loads.

This work complements and structures knowledge in the field of logistics centres (with focus on the Łódź region). It presents a thorough analysis of strategic documents of the European Union in reference to the functioning of international transport networks. It also provides a detailed description of logistics facilities operations from the theoretical standpoint and definition of relations in points where logistics centres and TEN-T networks overlap. The result of this work is a set of recommendations referring to effective development of logistics centres on the background of transport corridors.

Opis:
The aim of the article is to analyze how selected elements of trans-European corridor network are consistent with land use within the boundaries of Poland. The Baltic–Adriatic and Baltic-North Sea corridors comprise both roads and rail lines. In the case of rail the only points which may be included in the traffic are stops, stations or handling points of different kinds. Also the analysis of accessibility to the road network is single-point in character as corridors function on the basis of the highest category roads (motorways and expressways), which are connected with the road network surrounding them only in nodes with slip-roads. This is why analyses of accessibility to the trans-European network are based in this research on analysis of accessibility of points. Cumulative accessibility is the main research method which finds its specification in the subsequent part of this work. Thanks to it it was possible to specify the level of adjustment of corridor routes and their point infrastructure elements to the elements of land development of Poland’s space, including its settlement network, distribution of demographic potential or economic activity. Research was conducted for several variants of movement: foot travel, journeys on the road and rail network as well as the multimodal network representing different configurations of the aforementioned transport modes, both for passenger and goods transport. The article presents the situation as of August 2016.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie oceny kosztów braku realizacji sieci TEN-T. W artykule zostały omówione badania i analizy przeprowadzone przez Fraunhofer Institut für System und Innovationsforschung (ISI), stanowiące próbę przeprowadzenia ilościowej oceny kosztów zaniechania budowy transeuropejskiej sieci transportu TEN-T przed 2030 r. [2]. Badania skupiają się na bazowej sieci TEN-T, określonej przez nowe wytyczne z 2013 r. (Regulacje EU 1315/2013) i nowe zasady finansowania, określone w rozporządzeniu ustanawiającym instrument „Łącząc Europę” (CEF) [7, 11]. Europejski Scenariusz Odniesienia zakłada, że wprowadzenie bazowej sieci TEN-T zostanie zakończone przed 2030 r. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych przez Fraunhofer Institut für System und Innovationsforschung; poddano w nich ocenie 3 scenariusze niezakończenia budowy sieci bazowej TEN-T do 2030 r. Te scenariusze zostały porównane ze Scenariuszem Odniesienia. Ocena scenariuszy skupiła się na skutkach gospodarczych, a w szczególności na konsekwencji dla produktu krajowego brutto (PKB) oraz zatrudnienia.
Providing an assessment of costs of non-implementation of TENT is the article main aim. Conducted in Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research f/S/J Research analyses and innovation were made to conduct the quantitative assessment of the costs of not leading TEN-T networks before 2030 [1]. The study focused on core TEN-T network defied by the new guidelines of2013 (the Regulations EU 1315/2013), and new financing rules down by the Foundation for the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) [2]. Because, the European reference scenario assumes that the introduction of core TEN-T network will be completed before 2030, this study presents the research of three scenarios in which the core TEN-T network would not be Mshed before 2030. In fact, interruption of TEN-T construction before 2015 was assumed. These scenarios were compared with the Reference Scenario. Rating scenarios focused on broader economic consequences, particulary the consequences for GDP and employment.

An important issue in designing optical transport networks (OTN) is security. The concept of 1+1 protection requires to connect each origin-destination(OD)-pair by at least two node-disjoint paths. In the case of a single edge or node failure, the connection of all OD-pairs is maintained under 1+1 protection. On a ring, 1+1 protection is given naturally. Moreover, on rings, the routing effort is typically decreasing. These observations motivate the investigation of ring structures for OTN. When developing a ring structure for telecommunication networks, several subtasks can be identified. Ringshave to be designed, OD-pairs have to be assigned to rings, communication among rings has to be defined, a proper flow routing has to be chosen, and rings have to be dimensioned regarding flow capacity. In this paper, we address the first two issues, namely generation of rings and assignment of OD-pairs to rings. Our approach allows to distinguish active and non-active (glass-through) nodes in OTN. Active nodes are equipped with active routing hardware that weakens the optical signal and has impact on feasible ring lengths. Non-active nodes do not influence the optical signal. Although a consideration of active/non-active nodes is important in ring design, only a few references address this issue. We propose an algorithm for generating random ring candidates. Moreover, we present a mathematical model for the assignment of OD-pairs to rings subject to a feasible choice of active nodes. We test our methods using a case of Deutsche Telekom.

This paper uses network-based efficiency measures to evaluate the efficiency implications of the evolution of the transport network in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) over the period 1988-2008. The network-based efficiency measures consider the relative ease of access between cities in terms of weighted relative travel cost. The results indicate that the spatial patterns of network efficiency are different from ‘core-periphery’ pattern derived from classical accessibility indicators. This implies that there are low network efficiency cities and high network efficiency cities in core and peripheral regions at the same time. In the first stage (1988-1998), the efficiency contour shows a ‘corridor’ pattern along the GuangShen traffic corridor between Guangzhou and Shenzhen in the eastern side of the Pearl estuary; in the following decade (1998-2008), with large-scale infrastructural developments, the spatial pattern has changed from a north-south corridor to an east-west contiguous distribution pattern. By 2008, the mean network efficiency value indicates that the efficiency levels within the PRD as a whole are tending towards optimal levels. We conclude by suggesting ways to promote the urban economic development based on the relationship between the network efficiency and per capita GDP.

Opis:
The Time-Dependent Orienteering Problem with Time Windows (TDOPTW) is a combinatorial optimization problem defined on graphs. Its real life applications are particularly associated with tourist trip planning in trans-port networks, where travel time between two points depends on the moment of travel start. In the paper an effective TDOPTW solution (evolutionary algorithm with local search operators) was presented and applied to generate attractive tours in real public transport networks of Białystok and Athens. The method achieved very high-quality solutions in a short execution time.

The aim of the article is to analyse the land transport accessibility of two trans-European corridors within the boundaries of Poland. The adjustment of the course of transport routes to the distribution of the population and the country's land development (including economic potential and logistic infrastructure) was outlined using measurements of cumulative accessibility. The results were presented in both cartographic form (isochrone approach) and tabular form (cumulative approach). Research was conducted adopting different forms of transport used for relocation (including foot traffic, car, rail and multimodal transport) and both the current and target layout of the transport network. This made it possible to determine the changes that will effectively run the process of investment in transport infrastructure on Polish territory. This allowed the identification of the areas of Poland which are particularly conveniently located in relation to domestic connections (in terms of the international network) and those for which the European transport network remains difficult to access.
